My Magical Card Tavern

Chapter 40: Destiny Card, the Card Master Draws 1 Time!

Morin glanced at Gianna, who immediately shook his head, shrugged, and started eating sunflower seeds, pretending to be very busy.

Don't ask me, I don't know how to play this game either.

Graham started yelling.

"Morlin, no cheating!"

"Let's have a fair fight with Graeme!"

Morin immediately revealed a mysterious smile, and Graeme instantly sensed that something was wrong.

"You cheated!"

"You actually set a trap for Graham!"

"That cunning Morin Sprout!"

Ginnell's lips twitched, and he silently produced a beer and pushed it towards Graham.

Morin didn't actually intend to cheat; it was just a feint.

Graham, of course, could not ignore such obvious eye contact, which could easily be interpreted as a weak person seeking help.

In layman's terms, Graham has a better chance of winning.

That's why Graham insisted that Morin fight fairly and not cheat.

Based on the situation on the field, Morin could tell that Graeme's Silver Star Believer couldn't kill him with one kick, and his health was still above the safe limit.

The situation on the field remained unresolved, but Graeme was able to loudly tell Morin not to cheat or renege on his promise.

Then the answer is quite obvious.

Graeme has already accumulated a set of strategies, or he has obtained the key cards that can determine victory.

Once the turn turns to Graeme, Morin will lose!

Graham grunted sullenly, clearly dissatisfied with his carelessness.

If this were a battle, then he was careless and let his opponent fool him.

This is due to my lack of experience and my unstable mindset.

You can't blame your enemy for being despicable or resorting to any means necessary during a battle.

That would be too stupid; Graeme's pride as a warrior wouldn't allow him to think that way.

Having learned his lesson, Graham composed himself, his large face remaining serious as he looked at Morin.

To be honest, Graham has a very complicated feeling about winning and losing.

First of all, this is his own battle, so Graeme wants to win.

Secondly, Morin is holding the ancestral card, which in a sense means that someone who has mastered the power of the ancestor is fighting against him.

He wanted to win, but he also didn't want to see the power of his ancestors defeated by his magic.

I'm a bit conflicted.

What can you do in one round?

Morin glanced at the cards in his hand.

The Warrior series cards are simple and straightforward, without any messy or strange operations.

In terms of complexity and diversity, nature cannot compare to magic.

But just like in a real battle, there's never been a question of whether a mage or a warrior is more noble than the other.

Or rather, the professional who wins is the noblest.

Maureen remembered the blank magic gem when Genelec taught him to play cards.

He knew that it was actually a rather crude variable mechanism, much like introducing uncertainties into a precise magic experiment.

The cards on the table are already fixed, and so are the cards in your hand.

So the remaining variable is at the top of the deck!

Ginnell was unsure of Morin's thoughts, and even less understood why the other man had such a resolute look in his eyes.

If he knew what Maureen was thinking now, he'd probably say something like, "Brother, you've got it."

You're already a pro at cards, just short of shouting "My turn, draw cards!" or kneeling down and begging the dealer for a card that can turn the tide of the game.

Graham shifted his posture, sensing the newfound fighting spirit and unwavering belief in victory within Morin, and a bad premonition suddenly gripped his heart.

No way?

In their tribe, when an opponent has this feeling, it usually means they're about to fight to the death.

Could Maureen possibly do that too?

Morin placed his hand on the deck of cards beside him, and with a sudden jerk, he nearly hit his own chin when he pulled the card into his hand.

The last card!

Ok?

Morin looked up at Graeme, then at the card he had just drawn.

What is that?

This sight broke the serious atmosphere, and even Ginnell moved his chair to come closer to Morin.

"Let me see what you drew that surprised you so much..."

Ok?

There are cards like this?

[Fate Card: Sacrifice]

[Quality: unknown]

【Effect 1: Sacrifice all your minions on the board and draw three cards from the top of the deck, keeping the minions. If the player is equipped with a weapon, the attack power of the minions will be added to the weapon.】

[Effect 2: If the player equips the exclusive weapon "Luke's Lochta Blade", the final attack power bonus will be increased by an additional 50%.]

[Note: We offer you our last faith and blood, hoping you can lead the tribe to a brighter future]

It is our honor to fight alongside you!

Destiny Card!

Ginnell's expression shifted, but he remained silent.

Without a doubt, this is a trump card that can turn the table upside down.

Morin's card-playing man successfully turned the tide of the battle with a single draw. Even Graeme's eyes widened when he placed the card on the table.

and many more!

How did our ancestors have such a skill!

The three cards at the top of the Morin deck flew up on their own and were revealed to the three of them one by one.

The first one, Blood Rage Slash, belongs to the category of battle aura combat skills.

The second card is the Valiant Orc Guardian, a low-attack, high-defense taunt minion card used to control the board and block other minions.

Morin's face gradually stiffened, while Graeme was practically laughing himself to death.

Bad news: Morin had incredible luck and drew the trump card that could turn the tide of the battle.

Good news: only one of the two cards can provide an attack power boost, and the card that does provide the boost isn't even a high-attack card.

The third one...

A glimmer of gold appeared at the edge of the blood-red card, and Graeme's smile suddenly froze.

[Follower Card: Immortal Heroic Spirit]

[Quality: Legendary]

[Effect: When an Immortal Heroic Spirit is on the field, if the player suffers a fatal blow, the Immortal Heroic Spirit will take the player's place and continue the battle.]

[Note: I cannot give up yet]

A high-star legendary follower card, and it has both high attack and high defense!

Gram rattled off a phrase in the local orc dialect and slammed his hand of cards down on the table.

"I surrender! Graham surrenders!"

"Ginnell, there's something wrong with the rules of the game in the tavern!"

Graham pointed at the card table, where Luke, in his player avatar, had already swung his weapon, which shone with a terrifying crimson light, and slashed Graham's player avatar to pieces.

From a visual perspective, it looks like Luke hacking and slashing the old man from Silver Star right in front of Gennell.

Graham's tone was aggrieved.

"I've already conceded defeat; the game should end immediately!"

To put it simply, Graeme couldn't stand seeing Morin get an even better start than him, and he couldn't stand seeing Morin get carried away with his final blow. He was eager to concede so that Morin wouldn't be able to land that final blow.

Gianna shrugged.

"Is there a problem?"

"But I find it very sacred."
