As Li Zhi struggled, she raised her eyes and caught a glimpse of the pheromone detector on the ceiling.

The indicator light was glowing a faint red light, like an eye recording evidence of a crime.

A thought struck him, and he stopped struggling.

Li Zhi looked at Xiao Yu, "Really?"

His voice was light and airy, with a slight upward inflection at the end, carrying a subtle, alluring quality, "Would you like to smell some more?"

Xiao Yu's reason had been controlled by pheromones. He looked greedily at Li Zhi's hand as it reached for the neck ring, his eyes filled with anticipation.

Li Zhi smiled, her eyes crinkling with a touch of innocent naivety.

Then he raised his hand, placed his fingertips on the switch on the side of the neckband, and pressed it down crisply.
