The practice room fell silent for a moment.

All eyes turned to He Xu.

He Xu glanced at Shen Yiheng.

Shen Yiheng blinked innocently.

He Xu didn't say anything, put the water bottle in his hand in the corner, and walked to the mirror to stand still.

The accompaniment begins.

The wave was like water, the kicks were crisp and clean, and the continuous turns in the bridge section made the center of gravity as stable as a nail driven into the ground.

When he froze in the ending pose, he wasn't even out of breath.

"That's amazing..." someone whispered.

Xu Shutong was the first to clap, and Shen Yiheng followed suit. When the other contestants realized what was happening, a chorus of applause erupted.

He Xu turned around and walked back to the corner, picked up the water bottle and took a sip, his face expressionless the whole time.

"Very good. Regarding the dance, I have nothing more to say." Shen Yiheng withdrew his gaze, his tone businesslike. "But—"

He paused.

"The theme song audition isn't just about dance; it also includes vocals. Can your voice handle it?"

The atmosphere in the practice room became heavy for a moment.

Everyone knows that He Xu has a problem with his voice.

From the very first stage performance, his voice was the most unique presence in the entire show.

That deep, hoarse voice, bearing obvious signs of damage, seemed out of place among a hundred young, clear voices.

"The theme song, 'Uncharted,' has a chorus that reaches a high note of E5, which is quite a challenge for the male contestants."

The two instructors turned and walked out.
