There was no one outside. Sheng Qiming wandered from the living room to the dining room, then back out, calling out in confusion, "Where is everyone? Zong Yan!"

"What were you doing in there just now?" Sheng Qiming asked in a low voice.

He saw it; there was a red mark on the back of Zong Yan's neck, a scratch made by the woman's fingers.

"Why haven't you left yet?" Zong Yan turned around, even more surprised than him. "What are you doing loitering at my house?"

"I'm a guest, and this is how you treat your guests?" Sheng Qiming's tone remained sullen. He had once again found another flaw in Zong Yan's girlfriend: her disrespect for him!

He was still there, and they couldn't wait to go to bed?

The next day, Lin Su came to the dormitory again to study English with Shao Huaizhi.

She also brought him a gift—cookies she had baked herself, fragrant and sweet, to go with his black coffee.
