After leaving the guild, Lin Yu didn't rush back to Holm Village.

He turned onto the street on the east side of town and stopped in front of a clothing store.

Lin Yu pushed open the door of the clothing store.

The store was brightly lit, and a faint scent of incense and fabric filled the air.

The clothes rack is filled with a dazzling array of items, from everyday dresses to exquisite gowns, and even some more "special" styles.

Lin Yu's gaze swept quickly across the area.

For Arya, he chose several dresses made of soft fabric and in elegant colors, suitable for everyday wear.

She then walked to the side and picked up several pairs of delicate white and black stockings.

In a display case in the corner, he saw a rather daring black lace lingerie set, semi-transparent and decorated with tiny bows.

Lin Yu paused for a moment, then took it down as well.

Bell's outfit was simpler. Lin Yu picked out a set of leather shorts and a cropped vest that were easy to move in, and also a pair of thick black fishnet stockings.

Finally, there's Lilia, that girl likes cute things.

Lin Yu selected several pairs of mid-calf socks with blue and white stripes, and also picked up a light pink pajama set.

When checking out, the shop assistant watched as the young and handsome potion master bought such a large pile of women's clothing of various styles. She managed her expression well, but the curiosity in her eyes was hard to hide.

Lin Yu remained expressionless and put everything into his storage magic bag.

After leaving the clothing store, I turned into the food store next door.

Smoked meat, cheese, honey, jam, white bread...

I took a little of everything, and then I saw several bottles of fruit wine on the shelf. They were glass bottles with amber-colored liquid inside, and the labels said "cider wine".

I also took two bottles.

After paying, Lin Yu went into a cosmetics store.

Arya's dressing table was empty except for a small round mirror and a wooden comb.

The face cream was stored in a rough earthenware jar and smelled like lard.

Lin Yu felt it was time to change it when he saw it.

She probably has never used anything of good quality, or has seen it but couldn't bring herself to buy it.

Lin Yu walked around the store and picked out a few items that looked good.

A box of blush, a tube of lipstick, a small bottle of face cream, and a bottle of hair oil.

The shop assistant wrapped the items in colored paper and put them into a delicate little cloth bag.

Lin Yu weighed the bag in his hand; it was very light, but the contents inside would last Arya a long time.

......

Back in Holm village, it was already quite dark, and a few stars began to appear on the deep blue sky.

From afar, Lin Yu could see the warm yellow light shining from the window of his own little house, and a slender figure leaning against the door.

Arya's light blue skirt swayed gently in the evening breeze, her hair was tied back with a wooden hairpin, and a few strands of hair fell beside her ears, fluttering in the wind.

Holding an oil lamp in her hand, the flame flickering in the wind, she used her other hand to shield herself from the wind.

Her eyes lit up when she saw Lin Yu.

"You're back?" she greeted him, her voice soft, but the smile on her lips was unmistakable.

"Hmm." Lin Yu walked up to her, looked down at the oil lamp in her hand, and asked, "Why are you waiting outside again?"

Arya lowered her eyes and rubbed her fingers on the lamp handle: "I'm used to it."

After she finished speaking, she turned and walked into the house, but after taking two steps, she turned back and said, "Are you hungry? I'll go cook."

"No rush," Lin Yu said. "You don't actually need to wait for me at the door every day."

Arya tilted her head, a slightly embarrassed smile on her face.

"I don't have much fun or enjoyment in my daily life."

Her voice was very soft, as if she were talking about something very ordinary:

"The greatest joy now is waiting for you to come home. I feel so at ease the moment you return."

Lin Yu looked at her.

Arya felt a little uncomfortable under his gaze, so she lowered her head and twisted the hem of her coat with her fingers.

"Miss Arya." Lin Yu took a step forward.

"Um?"

Are you confessing your feelings to me?

Arya's face flushed red.

She opened her mouth as if to say something, but then swallowed it back.

Her lips moved, but in the end she didn't say anything. She just reached out and grabbed Lin Yu's sleeve, pulling him into the house.

"Are you hungry? Come in quickly, I'll cook right away." Her voice was soft and quick, and the tips of her ears were bright red.

Lin Yu let her pull him into the house.

Arya loosened his sleeve and turned to go to the kitchen.

Lin Yu took her hand.

"Don't bother," he said. "I brought back some food."

Arya paused for a moment, watching Lin Yu open the dark gray cloth bag and take out one paper bag after another.

White bread, honey pancakes, black tea, and several cooked foods wrapped in oil paper.

The table was soon piled high with food, even more lavish than during a festival.

Arya looked at the items and blinked. "You bought so much again...it must have cost a lot of money, right?"

"Not much." Lin Yu placed the items on the table one by one, then took out a tablecloth from the bag and laid it out, and took out two plates and two sets of cutlery.

He walked to the cabinet, took out two candles, put them in the candlestick, and lit them with a match.

The warm yellow flames flickered, casting two small halos of light on the table.

Arya stood by the table, watching Lin Yu finish all this, her heart pounding.

"Have a seat." Lin Yu pulled out a chair.

Arya sat down, and Lin Yu sat down opposite her.

The two people faced each other, separated by a tablecloth, food, and flickering candlelight.

"Try this." Lin Yu spread a piece of cheese on the bread and handed it to her.

Arya took it and took a bite.

The cheese melts in your mouth, savory and rich, while the bread is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with a sweet wheat flavor.

"Is it tasty?"

"Mmm." Arya nodded and took another bite.

Lin Yu picked up his wine glass, and she followed suit.

The glasses clinked together, making a crisp sound.

The cider is not strong; it's sweet with a hint of tartness and goes very smoothly.

Arya took a big gulp, the liquid sliding down her throat, a warm sensation rising from her stomach.

The two ate and drank, chatting casually.

Arya asked him what he had done in town that day, and he told her what he could.

She listened, smiling occasionally, the fine lines at the corners of her eyes appearing gentle in the candlelight.

The candlelight flickered gently, casting soft light and shadow on Arya's face.

She ate her pancake in small bites, occasionally glancing at Lin Yu across from her, her eyes revealing an undisguised warmth and a hint of barely perceptible nervousness.

Lin Yu put down his wine glass, reached for the storage magic bag at his feet, and then took out several exquisitely packaged small parcels, pushing them in front of Arya.

"I bought it for you," he said.

Arya stopped chewing, looked at the packages, and blinked.

She put down her cutlery, hesitated for a moment, and reached out to touch the box wrapped in light pink paper on top.
