The voluptuous and beautiful nanny, Technician Shen fell for her.
Chapter 98 Will Make You Dizzy
Su Nianhe froze.
Even someone with little education knows how deadly the phrase "moral conduct issues" can be these days. The consequences range from dismissal from public office to being sent to work as a sewing machine operator.
"How could Grandma say such things..." Su Nianhe's cheeks were so red they were almost bleeding, and her voice was trembling.
"Not only did she say it, she said it with such confidence." Shen Huai's tone was full of mischief. "Grandma asked my dad whether it was more important to marry someone of equal social standing or to have his son's future and life."
Su Nianhe swallowed hard. "What did Uncle Shen say?"
"My dad's blood pressure almost spiked again, and he couldn't say a word." Shen Huai pulled her closer to him. "Of course, my mom didn't believe it. She said I've always been sensible and would never do something so shameless."
"Yes, Aunt Liu definitely knows you," Su Nianhe chimed in. Shen Huai usually seemed as cold as ice; who could associate him with that kind of thing?
"But Grandma shut her down with just one sentence." Shen Huai turned his head and pressed his lips against her cheek.
"What did Grandma say?" Su Nianhe shrank her neck.
"Grandma said he's always been sensible, but this is his first time dating. As his mother, can you guarantee he won't lose his mind?"
Su Nianhe was completely speechless.
She nudged Shen Huai's shoulder, "So, do you even know how to...?"
"What if what?" Shen Huai asked knowingly.
"Won't you get dizzy?" Su Nianhe asked softly.
Shen Huai gripped the back of her head with his large hand, forcing her to raise her head.
Their breaths mingled in the night. The dim streetlights at the entrance of the compound cast long shadows on them.
"Boss Su," Shen Huai's voice was hoarse beyond recognition, "do you think I'm sober right now?"
Su Nianhe felt hot all over because of his appearance.
Just as she was about to speak, a clear bicycle bell suddenly rang out from the corner of the road.
"Make way! Make way!"
A worker coming off his night shift rode a bicycle from the main road, turning the corner; the headlights flashed.
Su Nianhe was so frightened that her scalp tingled, and she instinctively tried to break free from Shen Huai's embrace.
This is right at the entrance of the compound. If someone sees the mayor's son hugging his nanny, the whole of Jiang City will be talking about it tomorrow.
Shen Huai, however, showed no intention of letting go.
He stood firmly on the ground with his long legs, one hand pressing down on the back of her head, pulling her face directly into his chest, while the other hand pulled up the wide hem of his white shirt, covering most of her body.
From a passerby's perspective, all they could see was a tall man leaning against a bicycle, protecting a girl in his arms; his face was obscured.
The old-fashioned bicycle whizzed past them, and the rider glanced back, muttering, "Young people these days, they really don't know how to be discreet."
Only after everyone had gone far away did Su Nianhe dare to breathe.
She peeked out from Shen Huai's embrace, her heart pounding like a drum.
"Are you crazy? We almost got seen just now." Su Nianhe patted his chest.
"So what if I saw it?" Shen Huai said dismissively. "I already said I can do it openly and honestly now."
"That won't do either, it'll have a bad influence." Su Nianhe was an honest person and couldn't stand the thrill of being sneaky and constantly being exposed.
Seeing that she was really anxious, Shen Huai stopped teasing her.
He let go, his long legs straddling the crossbeam, and pushed the bicycle aside.
"Okay, Boss Su said it's bad for the image, so let's find a place with a better image."
"Where to?"
"Let's go back to your new courtyard." Shen Huai took her hand and held it naturally in his palm. "Didn't you just say you were worried about losing money? I'll go back and do the math for you."
Su Nianhe was holding his wrist as she followed beside him.
Instead of riding their bicycles, the two pushed them along the main road towards the alley behind the textile factory.
The summer evening breeze dissipated much of the daytime heat.
Halfway there, Shen Huai brought up the important matter.
"He Jianjun will arrive the day after tomorrow morning." His tone returned to normal.
Su Nianhe perked up, "Did you bring all the goods?"
"I called and brought everything." Shen Huai turned to look at her. "It's a small shipment worth two hundred yuan. He drove it directly to the yard. You don't need to set up a stall at the factory gate tomorrow; just sort the goods in the yard."
Su Nianhe nodded, "I understand. I've already discussed it with Lianhua today and we've decided to do distribution."
Shen Huai raised an eyebrow. "You've moved pretty quickly."
"Of course, time is money." Su Nianhe became bolder when she mentioned making money. "Lianhua said that her aunt knows a lot of unemployed people. We can wholesale the goods to them and make a profit from the price difference."
Shen Huai listened to her plan without finding any fault with it.
"That's a good idea. But there's something you need to think about beforehand," Shen Huai reminded her.
"What is it?"
"When there are too many distributors, the market becomes chaotic," Shen Huai pointed out incisively. "Everyone is selling the same thing, and some people will lower prices to sell more. Once a price war breaks out, your profits will shrink."
Su Nianhe was stunned. She had only thought about the large quantity and plenty of food, and hadn't considered this aspect.
"What should we do then?" she asked humbly.
Shen Huai stopped and leaned his bicycle against the wall.
"Second lesson for self-employed individuals," Shen Huai said casually, looking at her. "You set the rules."
Su Nianhe pricked up her ears.
"The goods come from your hands, so you're the general agent," Shen Huai advised her. "When you're getting the goods from them, you must set strict rules. The retail price can't be lower than 45 cents. If anyone dares to lower the price and disrupt the market, you'll cut off their supply."
Su Nianhe suddenly realized.
"I understand, this is called controlling the source."
Shen Huai flicked her forehead with his finger. "Smart."
The two walked to the red lacquered wooden gate of the new courtyard.
Su Nianhe took out her keys and opened the door.
The courtyard was quiet, and the moonlight shone on the smooth cement ground.
Shen Huai pushed the bicycle inside, closed the wooden door behind him, and locked it with the bolt.
A crisp click.
Once the door is locked, the yard becomes an absolutely private space.
Su Nianhe had just turned around and hadn't even had a chance to speak when Shen Huai had already pressed down on her.
He trapped her between the door and himself, looking down at her.
"The accounts are settled, and the rules have been taught." Shen Huai's voice was low, carrying an undeniable force. "Now let's settle our private accounts."
Su Nianhe's back was pressed against the door panel, with nowhere to retreat.
"What private accounts do we have..." she asked, her voice weak.
"Just now at the gate of the compound, who said I wouldn't lose my temper?" Shen Huai put his large hand on her lower back and pulled her closer to him. "Grandma is right. It's easy to act impulsively when it's your first time dating."
Su Nianhe panicked, "You promised last night that we wouldn't kiss!"
Shen Huai paused.
Looking at Su Nianhe's tense yet serious expression, his chest trembled, and he let out a low chuckle.
"Hmm, I won't kiss you." Shen Huai was surprisingly easy to talk to.
He released his grip on her lower back and took a half step back.
Just when Su Nianhe thought she had escaped a disaster, Shen Huai bent down, put his hands under her knees and back, and picked her up in his arms.
Su Nianhe gasped in fright and instinctively wrapped her arms around his neck.
"What are you doing!"
"No kissing, just a hug." Shen Huai carried her and strode towards the main house, his tone matter-of-fact. "This is what you asked for."
Su Nianhe was defeated by his sophistry.
Shen Huai placed her on a straw mat.
Before she could even sit properly, Shen Huai had already pressed himself against her.
He didn't press down firmly, but instead placed his hands on either side of her body, encircling her entirely in the shadows.
"Su Nianhe," Shen Huai called her name.
Su Nianhe looked up at him.
"Don't take a single word of the nonsense Zhou Xiaoman said to you today to heart," Shen Huai said in an extremely serious tone, with a hint of warning.
Su Nianhe pursed her lips.
"She wasn't actually wrong," Su Nianhe said softly. "I really haven't gone to school, I don't understand mechanics, and I'm not from your world."
Shen Huai's face darkened.
He reached out and grabbed her chin, the force not strong, but not enough to resist.
"I don't care which world you're from." Shen Huai looked into her eyes. "Now that you're in my arms, you're mine."
He stroked her cheek with his fingertips.
"I don't need a colleague to discuss gear transmissions with, nor do I need a pretty face who's a good match," Shen Huai said bluntly. "I want you."
Su Nianhe's heart skipped a beat.
She looked at this proud young man before her, who had blocked all her escape routes and tied himself to her broken boat.
"I understand," Su Nianhe replied honestly.
Seeing her obedient appearance, Shen Huai's anger dissipated completely.
He lowered his head and rubbed his nose against hers.
"Good girl." Shen Huai's voice was hoarse.
He kept his promise and didn't kiss her lips. Instead, he turned his head and gently bit her earlobe.
Su Nianhe's body jerked violently, and she gripped the fabric of his shirt tightly with both hands.
That electric-like tingling sensation traveled down my spine.
Shen Huai's breathing grew heavier and heavier. He knew clearly that what his grandmother had said to scare the old man today might not have been entirely unfounded.
If he stayed any longer, he really couldn't guarantee that he wouldn't make a mistake on the spot.
Shen Huai straightened up, widened the distance between them, and calmed his breathing.
