Delta: I have a 1-Haf Coin instant kill system!

Chapter 50 Said never imagined that he might be the one to perform the miracle!

The night wind, carrying a fishy smell, filled my lungs.

Sayed stood up from the riverbank, took off his waterproof backpack from his shoulder, checked that it was intact, and then walked toward the edge of Longbow Valley.

There was a small wooden cabin with two rooms. The exterior walls were made of wooden planks, and the gaps were filled with dried moss.

As Saeed approached, the door was already ajar.

A figure leaned against the inside of the door frame, half of his face hidden in the shadows, revealing only one eye and an old scar on his jaw.

The man was wearing a dark gray combat uniform, with the collar pulled up to his Adam's apple and the cuffs rolled up to the middle of his forearms, revealing clearly defined arm muscles.

"...Flint!" Said stopped at the threshold.

Flint did not answer immediately.

He looked Saeed up and down, his gaze lingering on the backpack on Saeed's shoulder for two seconds before he stepped aside slightly to make way for the doorway.

"Come in!"

Saeed bent down and crawled into the wooden hut.

The air inside was warmer than outside, and it smelled of herbs and iodine.

The firewood in the stove was burning brightly, and an iron kettle was hanging on the stove wall, with fine white steam rising from its spout.

The room was small, with a wooden bed against the wall and a simple wooden chair next to it.

There was a person lying on the bed.

The man was not old, not even twenty, with fair skin and a scabbed abrasion on his face.

His eyes were closed, his breathing was steady, but his complexion was very poor.

The left arm, exposed outside the blanket, was wrapped in gauze, with blood seeping from the edge of the gauze.

Saeed walked into the house with lighter steps.

He took the backpack off his shoulder, placed it at the foot of the bed, then squatted down and unzipped it.

The silver sealed boxes were neatly stacked in the bag, a dozen or so of varying sizes.

Sayed took out a palm-sized box from the top, opened the lid, and inside were several syringes and a small bottle of clear liquid.

He placed the boxes one by one on the small table beside the bed. Flint walked to the table, picked up a syringe, and looked at the label.

"How is he?" Said asked, his hands still moving.

Flint sat down by the bed and reached out to feel the forehead of the person on the bed.

"The fever has subsided somewhat, but the wound infection hasn't been contained yet."

"That alligator almost ripped his entire arm off!"

Saeed glanced at the person on the bed but didn't reply.

He lifted a corner of the blanket and examined the gauze on Rashid's left arm. The bandage was well-done, clearly the work of Flint.

He put down the blanket, stood up, walked to the table, poured half a bowl of hot water, then took out a packet of powdered medicine, poured it in, stirred it, and brought it to the bedside.

"Rashid..." he whispered.

The person on the bed twitched their eyelids, and after a few seconds slowly opened them.

His pupils were somewhat unfocused, and his lips were chapped, but when he saw Said, the corners of his mouth twitched.

"Boss Sai...you...you're back..."

Said didn't say anything, but brought the rim of the bowl to his mouth, held the back of his head, and slowly fed him most of the medicine.

Rashid swallowed the last bite, closed his eyes again, and his breathing quickly became shallow.

Sayed put the empty bowl back on the table and sat down in the chair.

"flint."

Flint, with his back to him, was bending down to unpack a syringe, preparing to inject Rashid, when he heard this and turned to look.

"......Um?"

"Do you think Rashid can pull through?"

Flint remained silent for a moment.

This kid named Rashid was bitten on the arm by a crocodile a few days ago. If it weren't for his timely intervention, he would probably have been dragged into the water.

Now... although he survived, his injuries are quite severe!

If it were GTI, he dared to say he could definitely cure him, but now... he didn't dare to give Said a definite answer.

After all, Asara's medical conditions are really too poor.

"...Perhaps, a miracle will happen?"

Upon hearing this, Sayyid clenched his fist tightly.

"A miracle?"

He looked up, his gaze fixed on the flint. "I've never believed in miracles."

"I grew up in the jungle, but I've never seen the tranquil river of life from Asara's fairy tale!"

"When the bullet pierced my father's chest, when the fires of Hafk burned my village to ashes, when my people fell like withered branches in the mud, when my most trusted brother stabbed me in the back—"

"I'm waiting for that damn miracle!"

He paused, his clenched fist loosening and then clenching again!

The light from the fireplace danced on his face, and the expression beneath the mask flickered.

"If you bring Rashid... back to GTI with you, are you confident you can cure him?"

Upon hearing this, Flint paused in his movements inside the wooden hut.

He didn't turn around, and lowered his voice.

"...What did you say?"

Saeed stood up from his chair.

"I saw what you were hiding under your sleeve! Dam Zero, I saw two GTI guys! One of them had an arm patch that looked a lot like yours, they... were from GTI!"

Said's voice was calm. Flint slowly turned around, his face expressionless, but he couldn't help but swallow.

"Sayid—"

"You don't need to explain!" Said interrupted him.

"I don't care who you are, it doesn't matter. Your willingness to help me save Rashid is enough!"

As he spoke, he turned to look at the pale face on the bed.

"But Assara's medical conditions are too poor! I searched three medical stations in Hafk and looted the Zero Dam warehouse, and all I could get were these basic medicines and equipment!"

"His arm... these things alone can't save it."

Flint glanced down at his arm patch.

"...You're more perceptive than I thought."

He walked to the bedside, lifted a corner of the gauze on Rashid's forearm, and looked at the color of the wound's edges.

"GTI does indeed have better medical facilities..."

"Putting everything else aside, we have an operator whose hormone gun—you might not be able to match the effectiveness of a single shot from all the drugs you've ever seen in your life combined!"

He straightened up and turned to Sayyid.

"I can take him back, but you need to understand one thing—GTI is not a containment facility!"

"Rashid's arrived over there... If the conditions are met, GTI might keep him..."

Said smiled instead, "Fine! Following you is better than suffering with me!"

Flint stared at him for several seconds.

Said drew the Crimson Blade from his waist, picked up a piece of wood from the ground, and began to carve it.

"That Rashid kid may not be good at much else, but he's got guts! If he hadn't been careless and got bitten by a crocodile, he'd be just as good as that 'little cat' I saw at Dam Zero!"

Flint didn't respond, but he didn't refute either.

He bent down and put the silver sealed boxes on the table back into his backpack, walked to the bedside, bent down and picked Rashid up along with the blanket.

"Walk!"

Saeed paused for a moment, then asked, "Now?"

"Now!" Flint walked toward the door without looking back.

"Rashid's injury can't be delayed for too long; the sooner he gets to GTI, the better!"

He walked to the door, turned to the side, and glanced at Said.

"Aren't you coming along?"

Saeed paused for a moment, then continued whittling the wood without looking up.

"Asara still needs me. I trust you with Rashid."

Flint stared at him for a few seconds, then pushed open the door and went out without asking any questions.

The night wind blew in, causing the flames to flicker violently.

Said sat alone by the campfire, looking at the crooked piece of wood in his hand, and suddenly chuckled softly.

"...The GTI isn't bad at all!"

Sayed said he doesn't believe in miracles!

But he never seemed to have considered that... he himself might be that miracle!

Rashid was injured.

Flint only mentioned that Hafk might have medicine.

Said then worked tirelessly through the night to reach Dam Zero.

He almost single-handedly wiped out the entire garrison at Hafk!

If it weren't for Wuming being there, he probably could have destroyed the entire dam on his own!
