Journey to the West Arrives: Start by becoming an apprentice of the Tongtian Sect Leader!

The Western Sacred Mountain, the Great Buddha Hall.

All that could be seen was the Buddha sitting serenely in the main hall.

Although the West has two sages, Jieyin and Zhunti, these sages do not usually concern themselves with worldly affairs.

Even if a sage has three corpses in the primordial world, he would not manage the affairs of Mount Ling...

In ordinary times, the three Buddhas have the greatest say in matters concerning the Western Paradise and Buddhism.

That is, the Buddha of the past, the Buddha of the present, and the Buddha of the future.

The Buddha of the Past was Dipankara Buddha, also known as Dipankara Daoist, who was also a traitor to the Chan Sect.

Dipankara Buddha was Li Jing's master. Back then, he and Yuanshi Tianzun were both among the three thousand guests of Zixiao Palace. However, after seeing Yuanshi Tianzun break through to the Saint level, Dipankara Buddha shamelessly tried to curry favor with him.

Despite being of the same generation, they relentlessly pestered each other to become Yuanshi Tianzun's disciples.

Yuanshi Tianzun usually values ​​his reputation the most. When he saw that Randeng Daoren wanted to become his disciple, he refused on the surface, but he was very happy in his heart!

Even powerful figures of the same generation come to me to become my disciples. Doesn't that prove that I, Yuanshi Tianzun, am awesome?

However, Yuanshi Tianzun did not accept Randeng Daoren as his disciple, since he was of the same generation as him. Instead, he appointed him as the deputy leader of the Chan Sect.

Dipankara Buddha is the Buddha of the past in the West, while the Buddha of the present is Tathagata Buddha, also known as Duobao Daoren.

He was once the senior disciple of the Jie Sect.

The future Buddha is Maitreya Buddha. Maitreya Buddha has no relation to the Xuanmen (Taoist school) but is a disciple of the two Western Saints, and can be considered a direct disciple of the two Western Saints.

Although Cihang Daoren and Duobao Daoren were once of the same generation, Guanyin Bodhisattva's status in the Western Paradise is now lower than that of Buddha.

Therefore, in front of the Buddha, Guanyin Bodhisattva can only refer to herself as a disciple.

The Buddha's face was solemn, with a faint smile on his lips.

"What important matter brings you, Venerable Guanyin?"

Instead of directly revealing what had happened in Heaven, Guanyin Bodhisattva looked around.

Seeing this, the Buddha spoke softly.

"You may all leave now. I will continue the discourse on the scriptures that I did not finish today another day."

Upon hearing this, all the monks and nuns, young and old, in the main hall began to chant Buddhist mantras.

"Amitabha Buddha~ This disciple bows in gratitude to the Buddha~"

After all the Buddhas on Mount Ling had left, the Buddha Tathagata turned to look at Guanyin Bodhisattva.

"What important matter brings you, Venerable Guanyin?"

Guanyin Bodhisattva spoke only after seeing that only the Buddha and Ananda and Kasyapa, who were attending the Buddha, were present in the Mahavira Hall.

"I respectfully report to the Buddha Tathagata that some changes have occurred in the events of the Journey to the West, and I humbly request Your Majesty's approval."

Upon hearing that a change had occurred during the Great Tribulation of Journey to the West, a strange light flashed in the eyes of the Buddha.

But the Buddha did not say anything more, but spoke softly.

"We humbly request an audience with the Sage!"

As soon as the Buddha finished speaking, an old Buddha figure appeared in the main hall.

Upon seeing this figure, the Buddha slightly bowed his head...

"I have met a saint!"

Guanyin Bodhisattva also hurriedly performed a Buddhist salute.

"This disciple pays homage to the Sage!"

But the old Buddha had a smile on his face and remained unhurried.

"This humble monk is not a saint, but merely one of the three corpses of a saint. Buddha Tathagata and Guanyin need not address me as such; simply call me the Buddha of Guidance."

This Buddha of Amitabha is one of the three corpses of the sage who guides others.

Both the Sage Jieyin and the Sage Zhunti actually had the Three Corpses in the West.

However, the three corpses of the sage do not usually come out to handle any affairs; they only convey the sage's decrees, which is commonly known as remote control...

For example, in this Journey to the West calamity, the Buddha of Guidance entrusted Guanyin Bodhisattva with the entire responsibility of arranging the Journey to the West calamity.

What the three corpses of the sage know, the sage's true body in the Chaos Purple Cloud Palace will also know.

For example, not long ago, the Sage of Guidance remotely directed something, which was to allow Jin Chanzi, a disciple of the Buddha, to be reincarnated.

The Buddha who guided them looked kind and smiling as he looked at Guanyin Bodhisattva.

"What important matter does the Venerable Guanyin wish to report?"

Guanyin Bodhisattva performed another Buddhist salute before speaking.

"I report to the Buddha that you previously instructed your disciple to handle the matters concerning the Great Tribulation of Journey to the West..."

"Everything was originally proceeding according to the sage's plan."

"Unexpectedly, Li Xuancang, a direct disciple of the Jie Sect, suddenly entered the Heavenly Court and even possessed the Qingping Sword, the Dao-proving treasure of the Tongtian Sect Master."

"After this child entered the Heavenly Court, all the disciples of the Jie Sect obeyed his orders."

"The Jade Emperor even created a separate position in the Heavenly Court as the Deputy Marshal of the Heavenly Army, which was specifically given to Li Xuancang."
