About the time it takes to drink a cup of tea after the middle-aged man left, he returned with a grim expression. His gaze swept back and forth between Su Yuntao and Tang San, and he bluntly uttered a sentence:

"Come in with me."

Without waiting for their reply, he turned and walked along the passageway.

Su Yuntao and Tang San exchanged a glance and followed.

After passing through several corridors, a spacious main hall came into view.

The furnishings inside the hall were much more refined than those in the front yard. The tables and chairs had the dark luster of old wood, and a huge landscape painting hung on the wall. On each side of the painting was a line of characters, written in a vigorous and powerful style, clearly the work of a famous artist.

In the center of the main hall sat an elderly man with half-white hair and beard. He was tall and exuded a calm and steady aura.

Seeing the two enter, he glanced at them, his gaze lingering on Tang San's face for a moment before he spoke directly:

"So, it's you two who want to interfere in the internal affairs of my Blue Lightning Tyrannosaurus Rex family?"

Tang San stepped forward, his tone displaying a maturity far beyond his years: "We don't concern ourselves with your family affairs; we're here to find my master."

Yu Yuanzhen's gaze lingered on Tang San for a moment longer:

"So you're the son of Haotian Douluo? You think you can disregard the Blue Lightning Tyrannosaurus Clan just because your father is backing you up?"

Just as Tang San was about to speak, Su Yuntao reached out to stop him and took over the conversation:

"Chief Yu, let's be frank. You've detained the Grandmaster in the Blue Lightning Tyrannosaurus Clan, surely for the sake of the Zhuge Divine Crossbow?"

Yu Yuanzhen did not deny it: "So what if it is?"

Su Yuntao's tone remained unchanged:

"Wanting the Zhuge Crossbow is fine, but detaining people and interrogating them for the blueprints—what kind of logic is that?"

Yu Yuanzhen snorted coldly:

"Are we wrong to do this? Xiaogang is my son. It's only natural for me to want his things. Do you outsiders need to interfere?"

Su Yuntao chuckled lightly:

"Putting aside the fact that the Zhuge Divine Crossbow doesn't even belong to Yu Xiaogang, just the fact that you claim he's your son—have you ever seen a father force his son to go on a hunger strike just to take something from him?"

Yu Yuanzhen's expression darkened for a moment, but he quickly returned to normal:

"What hunger strike? That's all made up by others; it never happened."

Su Yuntao also refuted, but simply said:

"And there's one more thing you shouldn't forget. Your Blue Lightning Tyrannosaurus Clan has always called the Master a piece of trash. So what makes you think a piece of trash could create a weapon like the Zhuge Divine Crossbow?"

Yu Yuanzhen was speechless for a moment. He opened his mouth to refute, but the words got stuck in his throat.

After a moment of silence, he spoke again:

"Although Yu Xiaogang's soul power is not good, I have to admit his expertise in martial soul theory. It is not impossible for him to make the Zhuge Divine Crossbow."

Su Yuntao shook his head:

"Alright, I'm too lazy to argue with you guys about this anymore. Think about it yourself, if that Zhuge Divine Crossbow really was made by a master craftsman, would he rather starve himself than hand over the blueprints?"

Yu Yuanzhen fell silent.

He sat there, his gaze fixed on the table, his fingers unconsciously tapping lightly on the armrest.

After a while, he raised his head, his gaze returning to Su Yuntao:

"I don't believe that Xiao Gang has no contribution to the Zhuge Crossbow since he came to negotiate with our Blue Lightning Tyrannosaurus Rex family. I don't care who made the Zhuge Crossbow, hand over the blueprints, and you can take him away."

Su Yuntao smiled, somewhat speechless.

On the Zhuge Divine Crossbow, Yu Xiaogang, besides causing trouble, really didn't contribute anything.

He shook his head. "The blueprints are impossible. If you want the Zhuge Crossbow, I can only give you the finished product."

Yu Yuanzhen scoffed, "After all this time, you still want to make money off our Blue Lightning Tyrannosaurus Rex family. If you're really sincere, then we'll give it to you for free."

Su Yuntao: "Why not?"

Yu Yuanzhen was clearly stunned. He hadn't expected that the other party would actually agree to his casual remark.

He leaned back in his chair, his gaze becoming serious again, and the way he looked at Su Yuntao was different now.

Su Yuntao continued, "Isn't your Blue Lightning Tyrannosaurus Clan supposed to respect the strong? How about we take a big gamble?"

There were still conditions!

Yu Yuanzhen sat up straighter: "How does the betting work?"

Su Yuntao: "Tang San and I will fight ten rounds against your Blue Lightning Tyrannosaurus Clan. For every round you win, the price of each Zhuge Divine Crossbow will be reduced by 10% from the market price. If you can win all ten, we'll give them to you for free at a loss, so what?"

Yu Yuanzhen's gaze sharpened slightly: "Really?"

"Really?" Su Yuntao replied without changing his tone.

Yu Yuanzhen glanced at him, then looked at Tang San: "Can he really make the decision on something this big?"

Su Yuntao turned to Tang San: "Do you think I can make that decision?"

Tang San replied without hesitation, "Of course."

Yu Yuanzhen sat in the main seat in silence for a moment, his gaze sweeping back and forth between the two men twice, before finally nodding slowly: "Alright, it's settled then!"

"Wait a minute." Su Yuntao suddenly interrupted Yu Yuanzhen, "Before the competition begins, I need to see the master and make sure he's alright before we agree to the match."

Yu Yuanzhen gave Su Yuntao a cold look: "Don't worry, you'll see him before the competition."

As he spoke, he gestured with his chin toward the person next to him:

"Go and inform the clan that the training ground should be cleared out now, and all clansmen should gather there tomorrow morning."

The man responded and quickly retreated. Yu Yuanzhen looked at Su Yuntao and Tang San again, without saying anything more, but simply gestured for the servant beside him to take them to the side courtyard to rest.

The training ground had been cleared out early the next morning.

The venue was nearly twice the size of the side courtyard where they had stayed the day before, and the stone steps around it were filled with members of the Blue Lightning Tyrannosaurus Clan.

Yu Yuanzhen was sitting on a grand chair by the side of the field, holding a cup of tea in his hand, blowing on the foam with his head down, his face showing no extra expression.

When Su Yuntao and Tang San entered the training ground, the first thing they noticed was a figure standing on the other side of the field. The Grandmaster was wearing an old blue robe and his face was much paler than when they last met. Clearly, his days in the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan were not easy.

Tang San walked over quickly. When the master saw him, he was stunned for a moment, and then nodded slightly.

Su Yuntao didn't rush over. He stood at the edge of the arena and, after confirming that the master was alright, turned his attention back to the upcoming competition.

A crowd had already gathered around the training ground, chatting in twos and threes, their eyes occasionally darting back and forth between Su Yuntao and Tang San.

A clansman dressed in a dark blue robe walked to the center of the arena and glanced at Su Yuntao and Tang San:

"Who goes first in the first round?"

Su Yuntao: "Tang San, go ahead and show them what a true genius of the younger generation really is!"
