Take her as my wife

Chapter 94 Tan Wen's "Kissing Test Standards"

On the way to the office, Jiang Ni noticed that he was driving his neighbor's car again today.

She asked, "Won't it cause inconvenience for others if you drive your car out? If you want to travel more easily, I have another car that you can use."

Tan shook his head: "No need, I plan to pick up the car during the National Day holiday. It's really inconvenient not having a car."

Taking advantage of a red light, he turned to Jiang Ni and asked, "Does your sister prefer a sedan or an SUV?"

Jiang Ni replied earnestly, "A sedan would be fine, but since you're tall, you'd probably be more comfortable driving an SUV. You don't need to consider my opinion."

A sedan... the space is too cramped.

Tan Wen still fondly remembered the "wonderful memories" he had of the last time he was in the car. He was originally more inclined to buy an off-road vehicle, but Jiang Ni's preference came first.

Besides, he'll make her like off-roading in the future, so there's no rush.

"Your thoughts are what I need to consider," he said as the light turned green and he continued driving. "You are the head of our household."

Where did they get a home? They've only just started dating.

Just as Jiang Ni had this thought in her mind, she heard him ask, "Sister, can I stay at your place during the National Day holiday?"

In the past, Jiang Ni would have agreed without hesitation. But this kid had done something "bad" last night, and Jiang Ni hesitated, feeling that she couldn't spoil him like this.

So she gave a vague answer: "Wouldn't it be a waste to leave your apartment empty?"

Tan Wen is a shrewd person. She immediately sensed something was wrong from her attitude. Her mind raced, and she quickly apologized: "Sister, I'm sorry."

Jiang Ni replied with four words in a lukewarm tone: "What did I do wrong?"

"I shouldn't have touched my sister while she was asleep." He was quite frank about it.

Since he admitted his mistake, Jiang Ni didn't plan to pursue the matter any further.

Perhaps they did something more intimate in their dreams, and Jiang Ni seems to have almost become desensitized to it.

Moreover, just as Xu Ke judged at the time, she did have a physical attraction to Tan Wen, and after they became familiar with each other, she no longer felt resistant to his closeness.

Jiang Ni clearly felt this.

Perhaps Tan Yan's "accusations" weren't entirely wrong—her choice of Tan Yan was purely rational, and there was no hormonal attraction involved.

Just as Jiang Ni was about to say "This is the last time," Tan Wen said in a sincere tone, "But my sister is so soft and smells so good."

"I can't hold on to it."

He raised his palm and glanced at it: "Hmm...it's unforgettable."

Jiang Ni: "..."

As the saying goes, "If you don't court death, you won't die." Jiang Ni was infuriated by his shamelessness and deliberately lowered her voice: "Go back to your own apartment during the National Day holiday and savor the moment."

After she finished speaking, she ignored him.

But Tan Wen smiled, knowing she was more embarrassed than angry, so he wasn't flustered at all and obediently replied, "Okay, I accept the punishment."

Anyway, he's shameless enough, and Jiang Ni is soft-hearted enough, so he'll always find a way to move into her house.

They arrived at Guangxing Law Firm. Tan went to the parking garage next door and dropped Jiang Ni off at the entrance.

"Sister, I'll come find you in a bit."

"Okay, I'll send you the floor number and office door number via private message."

Jiang Ni had just entered through the revolving glass door when a food delivery worker followed her in. They entered the office building lobby one after the other.

Then we stood at the elevator door and waited together.

Jiang Ni was texting Tan Wen with her head down when she heard the elevator "ding" and the doors opened. She walked straight into the elevator.

She reached out to press the floor button, but because she wanted to ask Xiaowen something, she pressed the wrong floor, not the one where her office was located.

After pressing the number button, she stepped aside to make room, but the deliveryman did not press the floor number, obviously going to the same floor as her.

Jiang Ni knew that this must have been the takeout ordered by the front desk staff and a few assistants, so she subconsciously glanced at the deliveryman.

They unexpectedly made eye contact.

The man was wearing a helmet and a black sun mask, revealing only his eyes and slightly thick, messy eyebrows.

Just then, the elevator doors opened. Out of politeness and understanding of the deliveryman's work, Jiang Ni nodded slightly to him, indicating that he should get out of the elevator first.

The man said "thank you" to her.

Sure enough, the takeout orders were delivered to the front desk: "Hello, your takeout has arrived!"

Xiaowen and several other colleagues came out to pick up their takeout.

"Jiang Lu," Xiao Wen greeted Jiang Ni first, "Have you eaten? How is Miss Deng's situation now?"

Jiang Ni replied, "I haven't eaten yet. I'll go eat with my...boyfriend later—she's in a stable mood and everything's fine. Xiao Wen, I have a few documents here that I need you to look up and collect for me."

Xiao Wen first agreed to the job she arranged, then looked at her with surprise: "Jiang Lu, you're no longer single?!"

Her voice was quite loud, and others joined in the fun. Jiang Ni answered a few simple questions.

"He's unemployed; he's still in school."

"Yes, he'll come pick me up later."

She didn't give them a chance to gossip and ended the conversation first: "I have to go upstairs to take care of something. You guys go ahead and eat."

She turned and walked towards the elevator, but out of the corner of her eye she noticed that the deliveryman hadn't followed her, and then she heard him call out to Xiaowen.

"Hey, could you please give me a good review? The platform is doing some tasks these days, thank you for your help."

Xiaowen, being a kind-hearted girl, immediately agreed: "Okay, is there anything you need me to write? You can tell me and I'll write it... You've been delivering all our orders lately, it's quite a coincidence."

"It's quite a coincidence. I saw you in the neighborhood yesterday. I never imagined we lived in the same place..."

The elevator arrived, and Jiang Ni, no longer paying attention to their movements, stepped into the elevator.

She went to the office, turned on her computer, and quickly wrote down some things she wanted Xiaowen to collect and research. She then compiled them into a document and sent it to Xiaowen's email. The document included: the handling results of Zhang Liwei's previous domestic violence case, Deng Chaoyang's previous medical records, etc.

Xiao Wen hadn't replied yet, and Jiang Ni guessed she was probably eating, so she didn't urge her. She shut down her computer and was about to ask Tan where he was when she looked up and saw him standing at the office door. He was so tall that his head almost touched the top of the door frame.

He walked over to Jiang Ni, placed his hands on the armrests of her chair, and pulled her between the chair and his body, his eyes still filled with lingering infatuation: "You're so sexy when you're working, sister."

Jiang Ni, already experienced, glanced down at him and, lacking any romantic understanding, scolded him: "Only puppies can't control themselves and go into heat all the time."

However, she severely underestimated Tan Wen's "shamelessness".

"Woof woof," he barked twice without a care in the world, his face cool, "Can I go into heat now?"

Jiang Ni: "..."

Tan Wen automatically interpreted her "silence" as "acquiescence," leaned down, but did not kiss her.

"My sister kissed me."

"I'll grade my sister to see how well she learned today."

Jiang Ni looked at his well-defined lips, hesitated for a few seconds, but still straightened up and wrapped her arms around his neck.

"What are the evaluation criteria?" she asked meticulously.

"A perfect response is 90 points, an overly affectionate one is a perfect score."

Jiang Ni: "?"

Nobody can do *that* just from a kiss!

She wanted to complain that his evaluation criteria were unreasonable, but he couldn't wait any longer and leaned closer, his voice low, to make the request again.

"Sister, kiss me."
