The village beauty and me!

Chapter 92 The Fierce Female Driver Arrives

"You bastard, so what if you have a loudspeaker?"

"You idiot, did your driving instructor only teach you how to use the horn, and not how to use your brain?"

As the car behind her was about to overtake, Zhao Jingjing rolled down her window, stuck her head out, and launched into a tirade of angry curses.

The trash talk was incessant, making Chen Huan blush with embarrassment.

To be honest, this Miss Zhao's driving skills aren't great, but her road rage reaction is truly something else.

Chen Huan roughly counted along the way: in less than an hour's drive, Zhao Jingjing cursed at people sixteen times and gave others the middle finger three times.

As for the horn, it was pressed countless times.

However, after she finished cursing, Zhao Jingjing's driving skills improved dramatically, as if she had some kind of cheat code.

Finally, I arrived at the vehicle management office smoothly.

Chen Huan finally breathed a sigh of relief and sat up straight.

"How was it? My driving skills are pretty good, right?" Zhao Jingjing raised her eyebrows proudly.

Chen Huan snorted, "It's alright, just a bit noisy."

Zhao Jingjing raised her hand and slapped him. "You're annoying, aren't you? There are clearly too many people who can't drive. I'm just educating them on behalf of society."

"Fine, fine, whatever you say makes sense." Chen Huan pushed open the door and got out of the car.

"What does this have to do with size?" Zhao Jingjing frowned and looked down, then couldn't help but smile.

There is only one vehicle management office in the entire county. It is not a big place, but there are quite a few people who come here to do business.

Chen Huan was stunned when he entered the hall.

The long queues at each window were truly spectacular.

Frowning and worried, he said, "With so many people and the business moving at a snail's pace, it's probably unlikely we'll make it before noon."

Zhao Jingjing smiled and said, "I have a way to get it done quickly without having to wait until noon."

"Really?" Chen Huan expressed his doubt.

Zhao Jingjing smiled mysteriously, "Why would I lie to you? If we start counting down from now on, someone will definitely come to help us solve our problems."

Just as Chen Huan was about to make a sarcastic remark, a young man dressed in flashy clothes actually walked over.

They greeted me very warmly, "Boss, what business are you here for?"

"You seem to be in a bit of a hurry. Do you need me to save you some time?"

Chen Huan tried to remain calm and asked, "How exactly do you plan to save money?"

The young man grinned. "Naturally, it'll reduce the waiting time. There's a friend of mine in line; I can just ask him to switch places with you."

Chen Huan understood. "It costs money, right? How much?"

The young man held up two fingers. "For this price, I'll save you at least two hours. Pretty good deal, right?"

Chen Huan felt that although the other party's way of making money was a bit unethical, it was indeed quite convenient for him.

So they prepared to pay.

But at this moment, Zhao Jingjing said from the side, "Brother, you're being too greedy! Everyone else gets 100 yuan, why are you paying double?"

"Wow, this young lady knows her stuff. Okay, one hundred it is then." The young man surprisingly gave a 50% discount without hesitation.

After receiving 100 yuan from Chen Huan, he immediately led them to the front of the line.

One of the people in line gave up their spot and moved to the back of the line.

"How about it? I saved you a hundred yuan. Shouldn't you treat me to something nice for lunch?" Zhao Jingjing looked at Chen Huan with a hint of pride.

"No problem, we'll find the best restaurant and you can eat whatever you want," Chen Huan readily agreed.

He then added a compliment, "Having you by my side has really proven to be very useful; you know quite a lot."

"I originally thought that you, as a college student, only knew how to study and had no social experience."

Zhao Jingjing gave him a disdainful look. "Who told you that college students only know how to study?"

"I even worked here during my previous holidays, doing the job of queuing up for people."

"When I'm lucky, I earn more than you give me."

Chen Huan then suddenly realized what was going on.

No wonder this girl is so familiar with the ins and outs of the business; she can successfully negotiate a price with just a few words.

Turns out I'm someone who's been there.

Seeing Zhao Jingjing's slightly arrogant expression, Chen Huan teased, "If that's the case, why didn't you continue this job?"

"I can tell you don't like staying in the village, so coming here to earn some extra money is a good idea, isn't it?"

Zhao Jingjing's expression became somewhat unnatural, and she even subconsciously looked around as if she was worried about something.

Just as Chen Huan was about to ask a question, he felt someone push him from behind.

It didn't seem like the contact that came from being crowded; it was more like some kind of deliberate shoving.

Chen Huan frowned and turned around, only to find a middle-aged man with a domineering expression standing behind him.

He looked like a businessman, dressed in rather high-class clothes, with a gold watch on his wrist, which he would occasionally shake, as if afraid that others wouldn't see it.

"What, do you want something?" Chen Huan saw hostility in the other person's eyes, so he asked in a cold voice.

The man frowned even more and snapped in a commanding tone, "Hurry up and move forward, you dawdling like a country bumpkin."

Chen Huan immediately got angry and retorted, "Isn't it hot standing this close? If you're in a hurry to be reborn, I can let you go first."

"Stop talking like a country bumpkin. Without country folk farming and growing vegetables, would you be eating manure?"

"Kid, are you looking for trouble?" The middle-aged man glared at him.

"Do you believe I'll beat you up?"

Chen Huan pursed her lips, "With kidney deficiency like yours, you should stop bragging and take more Liuwei Dihuang Pills; it'll do you good."

Those around couldn't help but laugh when they heard this.

Zhao Jingjing laughed so hard she almost fell over, "Chen Huan, you're so mean!"

"You're asking for it!" The middle-aged man raised his hand to slap Chen Huan.

Chen Huan originally planned to retaliate directly, knock him down, and teach him a good lesson.

But just as he was about to make a move, he suddenly noticed a subtle, cunning glint in the middle-aged man's eyes.

This is absolutely not the state a middle-aged man in a fit of rage should be in when he's about to hit someone.

"Something's not right!" Chen Huan immediately became suspicious.

Then he didn't make a move, but instead dodged to the side based on the other party's actions.

Sure enough, the guy raised his hand but only gestured at the air, as if to scare people or as if he had some other purpose.

Anyway, they didn't aim at Chen Huan's face.

Just as Chen Huan was about to make a sarcastic remark, the middle-aged man suddenly twisted his body, cried out in pain, and lay down on the ground.

"Holy crap, what's going on?"

"What are you posing for?" Chen Huan was stunned, completely bewildered by the arrogant guy who had just been acting so domineeringly.

Zhao Lingling nudged him with her hand, "Can't you see it yet? It's obvious we've run into a scammer."

Chen Huan's eye twitched. "A staged accident?"
