In a moment of impulse, I forcibly kissed my brother's best friend.

Chapter 128 If you kill me, you'll die too.

Four men in black immediately pounced on her. Zhixia, wielding her goose-feather saber, met them head-on and engaged them in fierce combat.

But one of them ignored Zhi Xia and pounced directly on Xie Yige.

Xie Yige took a step back, her heel already touching the edge of the cliff, and loose rocks tumbled into the abyss.

"Master, there's a cave at the bottom of the cliff to help you jump down. I'll carry you." Dudu's voice suddenly rang in my mind, filled with unprecedented urgency.

Xie Yige didn't have time to think deeply. She closed her eyes, jumped off the cliff, and fell down.

"Miss!" Zhixia cried out hoarsely.

"Xie Yige!" The man in blue robes was also taken aback and rushed to the edge of the cliff to try to save her, but it was clearly too late.

The wind whistled in her ears as Xie Yige's body plummeted downwards, her black hair flying in the night wind.

Just as she was about to touch the buffer stones extending from the cliff face, a flash of white light appeared on her body, and she felt herself being supported by an invisible force before landing safely on the ground.

"Barbie Q is dead, I'm really doomed now."

"Beep—" The usually noisy blue light in his mind suddenly went out and disappeared without a trace.

"Dudu?" Xie Yige's heart tightened, ignoring the pain all over her body, "Xie Dudu?"

My mind was completely blank, and there was no response.

The surroundings were eerily quiet, with only the howling of the wind from above, like the low growl of some wild beast, coming from the cliff edge.

She endured the heat and discomfort on her body, and following the moonlight, groped her way into the cave entrance.

The cave walls were slippery and covered with moss, and the air was filled with the damp smell of earth.

Suddenly, with a "bang," a figure crashed down.

Accompanied by a muffled "humph".

Xie Yige strained her blurry eyes in the moonlight and was surprised to see that the person lying on the ground was Zhi Xia.

"Zhixia? How did you fall?" Xie Yige's voice was both surprised and delighted.

"Wah—" Zhi Xia actually started crying. She quickly covered her mouth, as if afraid that the people above would hear her, but tears still flowed uncontrollably, leaving two white streaks on her dusty face.

"Miss, you're not dead, that's wonderful!"

"I'm... still alive for now." Xie Yige felt so uncomfortable that she was about to die.

The medicinal power rebounded even more fiercely after being suppressed by the cold spring, like a trapped wild beast rampaging through her body.

Zhi Xia quickly stepped forward to help her. The two supported each other as they entered the cave, only to find that it was actually a very spacious cavern.

On the cave walls, there were some stones that emitted a blue glow, like stars dotting the darkness, emitting a faint light.

In the middle, there was a large hot spring pool, with wisps of steam rising from it, the vapors blurring the view.

"Miss, it's a hot spring, not a cold spring, what should we do?" Zhi Xia's voice was filled with anxiety.

"That's no use..." Xie Yige raised her hand and pointed to the flat, bare rock not far away. "Help me to that rock."

Before she could even raise her hand, everything went black, and she fainted.

On the cliff.

The man in the blue robe stood on the edge of the cliff, watching helplessly as the female guard jumped off as well.

A chill ran down his spine, and cold sweat trickled down his back.

For some reason, I suddenly felt panicked.

Xie Yige is dead!

If Cui Yutang finds out, we're doomed!

His mind was racing, frantically trying to figure out what to do, when suddenly, a series of hurried and frantic footsteps approached from afar.

"Yi Ge—"

"Yi Ge—"

The blue-robed man's pupils suddenly contracted; it was Cui Yutang, dressed in white, who looked particularly terrifying under the pale moonlight.

His robes were torn in several places by tree branches as he ran, his hair was disheveled, but his eyes shone with an almost insane light, gleaming with a terrifying gleam in the moonlight.

"Where is Yige?" Cui Yutang's voice was very soft.

The man wanted to deny it, to say he didn't know—but his eyes involuntarily looked down the cliff.

Just one glance.

Cui Yutang's eyes changed instantly, as if something inside them had shattered. He felt a surge of fear and could hardly breathe.

"Where is Xie Yige?" he asked again, his voice trembling violently this time, filled with an extremely cold killing intent.

"Where is she?" he asked, emphasizing each word.

He slowly drew the soft sword hidden at his waist; the blade gleamed with an eerie blue light in the moonlight, reflecting off his pale face.

The pastries hanging on his body also fell off.

"Cui Yutang, calm down!" The man in the blue brocade robe felt his unease reach its peak when he saw the sword in Cui Yutang's hand. "It's none of my business! I didn't poison her, and I didn't push her down!"

"Who drugged her?" Cui Yutang's voice was as cold as if it came from hell.

"It was Li Roujia! She's the one who drugged me! She said she'd offer me her body!" The man in the blue brocade robe spoke faster and faster, his voice filled with the desperate urgency of someone trying to survive. "But I didn't touch a single hair on her head! I swear!"

"ah--"

Suddenly, a piercing scream echoed through the night sky, sounding exceptionally terrifying under the pale moonlight.

Cui Yutang's hand moved quickly in and slowly out, gently pulling the sword out of the blue-robed man's abdomen.

Blood dripped down the sword, seeping into the darkness.

He was about to stab again.

"Cui Yutang, I am a prince! You will die if you kill me! You madman!" The man in the blue brocade robe clutched his abdomen, his voice filled with fear.

"If she dies, I won't live either." Cui Yutang looked down at him, her voice cold and her eyes empty, but large tears fell from her eyes.

"What's there to be afraid of about dying?"

"But I won't let you die so quickly." His voice was so soft it was almost a soliloquy. "I'll sully her path."

After saying that, he flipped his wrist and thrust out the sword again, causing blood to splatter once more.

Another scream echoed through the night sky.

Cui Yutang's pupils were stained red with blood, and the sword in his hand emitted an eerie red light, dripping blood continuously.

He appeared mad, like a demon crawling out of hell.

The four men in black were so shocked by this turn of events that they turned pale and dared not approach.

"Master! Your jade pendant is here!" Bao Yu's voice came from not far away.

Cui Yutang seemed to wake up from a nightmare.

He turned around abruptly, his gaze following the direction of the jade-holding fingers, landing on the small jade piece.

It was the jade pendant he gave her as the heirloom.

He immediately rushed to the edge of the cliff and, trembling, picked up the jade pendant.

He looked down at the dark cliff below, enveloped by immense sorrow.

He knew there was a dark river below. She must be so cold down there all alone; she was so afraid of the cold.

So he took a leap and jumped off the cliff.
