Wang Dafa screamed and jumped up, frantically slapping his thighs with both hands. The cigar fell onto the carpet, burning a smoking black hole.

Sun Qiang quickly ran over and reached out to help him pat the wound. Wang Dafa slapped Sun Qiang across the face with a sharp crack.

"Useless! Didn't you say they couldn't get out of Tazhai?!" Wang Dafa roared.

Sun Qiang covered his face, not daring to say a word.

The central air conditioning system overhead stopped working. The computer screen went black. All the lights in the entire building went out.

The power went out at the headquarters of Dafa Group.

The underground parking garage was filled in with river sand, rendering the electrical substation unusable. The building's backup power supply simply cannot be activated.

The office door was pushed open, and the lobby manager rushed in, covered in sweat.

"Mr. Wang! The main entrance on the first floor is buried in sand, and we can't get out of the underground parking garage either. The back door and the staff passage are all blocked by dump trucks."

"The building has lost power, the elevators are out of service, and all the employees are trapped in the stairwells. It's unbearably hot!" the lobby manager shouted.

Wang Dafa grabbed the landline on his desk, but there was only a busy signal. He took out his cell phone, but his hands were shaking so badly he couldn't even unlock the screen.

"Old Liu! Bring some men to the square to help me out! I'll give you a commission!"

A trembling voice came from the other end of the phone: "President Wang, who did you have to mess with? The Lin family of Tazhai."

After hanging up the phone, Wang Dafa made several more calls to business partners he usually considered brothers.

Upon hearing that it was the Lin Family Enclosed Building in Tazhai, the other party hung up without saying a word.

Thousands of citizens from the county town surrounded the intersection, taking photos and videos with their mobile phones.

Three police cars with sirens blaring drove up and stopped at the edge of the intersection. The area was packed with onlookers, making it impossible for the police cars to get in.

Team Leader Zhang led several police officers through the crowd to the edge of the square.

He stared blankly at the hundred red heavy dump trucks and the mountain of river sand that sealed off the first floor.

Team Leader Zhang shouted through a megaphone, "Who gave you permission to park here! Move aside!"

A hundred men from Zhongtang, dressed in black vests, sat on the roof of the car, smoking. Nobody paid him any attention.

Lin Fei stood next to the lead car, blew a smoke ring, and shouted to Captain Zhang, "Boss, the car broke down and stalled."

They took all the keys out and sent them for repair; there was nothing we could do.

Team Leader Zhang was furious, his face flushed and his neck bulging. He pointed at Lin Fei and shouted, "The cars broke down? A hundred cars broke down at the same time? You're kidding me!"

Lin Fei spread his hands: "It's normal for all the cars in Tazhai to break down at once. If the leaders don't believe me, they can go and check themselves. If you can drive them away, feel free to drive them."

Team Leader Zhang led his men around the lead truck. These 40-ton heavy trucks had their doors locked and couldn't be moved without the key.

He took out his walkie-talkie and called the county's towing company.

The towing company replied: "Team Leader Zhang, our county's tow trucks can't pull this heavy truck, which has a load capacity of forty tons and is full of river sand."

Lin Ting picked up a large megaphone and pressed the switch.

Lin Ting's voice drowned out the surrounding noise and spread throughout the entire square, reaching all the way to the twentieth floor.

"You like playing with broken circuits, the Lin family will play along."

"If you don't come down in ten minutes, I'll tear this building down."

The sound was calm, yet it carried clearly to the top floor.

Wang Dafa leaned against the floor-to-ceiling window, looking down at the young man in black sitting on the hood of a car, cold sweat pouring down his face.

"He dares to demolish the building? He's insane!" Wang Dafa took two steps back.

Sun Qiang leaned closer: "President Wang, don't listen to his nonsense. This building is made of reinforced concrete, what is he going to use to demolish it?"

We'll just stay upstairs. We won't die from starvation for a few days. When the city officials come, they'll all have to go inside.

Wang Dafa glanced at the gold watch on his wrist as the seconds ticked by.

He was unsure of himself; the Lin family never followed any set rules.

Those ten minutes felt longer than a year to Wang Dafa. He paced back and forth in his office, his clothes soaked with sweat.

Seven minutes in. Wang Dafa walked to the door, intending to open it and go out. Sun Qiang spread his arms, blocking the doorway.

Lin Fei opened the car door and jumped into the driver's seat.

He took the car keys out of his pocket and inserted them into the ignition.

The heavy trucks roared loudly.

In the cabs of one hundred dump trucks, one hundred Zhongtang men simultaneously pulled out their keys and started the engines.

One hundred heavy-duty diesel engines roared simultaneously, causing the ground to shake violently.

Lin Fei shifted into drive.

He aimed the massive front of the car at the half-meter-thick load-bearing column on the first floor of the building and placed his right foot on the accelerator.

When Wang Dafa, who was on the top floor, saw this scene, his legs went weak and he knelt on the carpet.
