Lin Ting pressed the call button and asked the duty officer to retrieve the navigation tracks of the ten speedboats.

"The cold chain cargo hold was sealed off, and ordinary crew members retreated to the bridge. Zhongtang implemented the maritime security plan and kept the recording equipment on throughout the process."

"We will not use firearms unless the other side fires; anyone who dares to board the ship should not be allowed back onto the speedboat."

The order was relayed to the eight transport ships.

The crew on the lead ship's deck coiled up the mooring lines and moved into the wheelhouse. The two high-speed rescue vessels reduced their speed and separated to the left and right of the convoy.

Ten speedboats quickly caught up with the fleet.

The ringleader, nicknamed Sea Serpent, was around forty years old and had been involved in the coastal smuggling ring for seventeen years.

He robbed tobacco, alcohol, frozen goods, and imported equipment, and also transported goods without customs declaration records for entertainment companies in the provincial capital.

Local cargo ships usually pay money to give way when they encounter them.

Sea serpent stood at the front of the speedboat and raised a megaphone.

"Listen up, everyone on board! We're only taking the cargo, not touching the crew. Turn off the radio, open the refrigerated containers, and hand over the golden berries and fuel transfer slips. Anyone who dares to delay will have ten ships ramming your steering gear together."

Six speedboats hulled close to the refrigerated cargo ship, hooking themselves onto the railings. More than twenty men climbed onto the deck using rope ladders, carrying hooks, machetes, and ropes.

No one on the deck stopped them.

After boarding the lead ship, the sea serpent glanced at the bridge. The heavy fireproof door was closed, and no one peeked out from behind the window.

He raised his hand to signal the others to continue boarding.

As the twelfth man stepped onto the deck, the protective doors on both sides of the cargo hold opened simultaneously.

Lin Dabiao led forty Zhongtang security guards out of the cabin. All of them were wearing stab-proof vests and life vests, and were fully equipped with helmets, shields, restraint forks, and net guns.

The recorder on his chest was lit up, and he also had marine communication equipment hanging on his shoulder.

The sea snake remained stationary.

The report only mentioned the crew members from Wangjiacun and the workers from Linshi Logistics, but there was no record of Zhongtang security guards boarding the ship.

The person who provided the cargo manifest assured him that the Golden Fruit fleet had just been assembled and that the escort vessels were only responsible for rescue operations.

The group of people in front of us are not ordinary sailors at all.

Lin Dabiao raised the megaphone.

"You have boarded the ship illegally. Put down all your equipment. There are 36 recording devices on the deck, in the cargo hold, and in the bridge area. The boarding process has been transmitted back to shore. Proceed forward. The Lin family security team will take control of your personnel according to the maritime defense plan."

The sea serpent did not retreat.

He pulled a signal device from behind his waist and raised his hand toward the speedboat.

The remaining passengers split into two groups: one group rushed toward the refrigerated cargo hold, while the other group attempted to break open the fire door of the bridge.

Zhongtang Anbao raised his shield and moved forward.

The first row of restraint forks locks the hook rod, and the second row of net guns blocks the deck passage.

Two sets of high-pressure water cannons on the top of the ship were turned around to push people who were close to the cargo hold back to the railing area.

The sea serpent swung its machete at the shield, but the blade got stuck inside the protective layer.

Lin Dabiao stepped out from behind the shield, grabbed his arm, and pressed him against the anti-slip mat on the deck.

More than twenty others failed to get past the first row of shields.

In less than three minutes, all boarders were secured to the middle of the deck with restraints.

The sea serpent cried out, clinging to the deck:

"Never mind the people on the boats, ram the cold chain containers! If we can't get the golden fruit, tow all eight boats back to South Bay. If anything goes wrong, someone will cover for us; the Lin family can't trace that connection to the provincial capital!"

The crew on the speedboat received the signal.

Four speedboats cut the boarding ropes and accelerated outwards. The remaining six adjusted their bows, preparing to ram the stern of the cold chain transport ship.

The sea serpent thought it still had a way out.

These speedboats are equipped with powerful engines and have shallow bottoms. By the time an ordinary patrol boat can turn, they have already gone two nautical miles away.

The two Lin family high-speed rescue boats did not give chase.

The rescue ship in front moved eastward, while the rescue ship behind moved westward. A waterway about 300 meters wide was created between the two ships, and all ten speedboats were in the middle of the waterway.

The sea serpent raised its head and shouted towards the speedboat:

"Don't go in the middle, split up and run! They're closing in!"

The reminder came too late.

A row of yellow buoys was dropped from the stern of each of the two rescue boats. The buoys spread out towards the middle with the ocean current and were connected underwater to the rolling net commonly used by boatmen in Wangjia Village.

These nets have been modified by Hongtu, using high-strength ropes and counterweight nodes. The nets will not scratch the bottom of the boat, but can get tangled in the drive shaft when they enter the propeller area.

The first speedboat crossed the buoy line, and its engine speed quickly dropped. Losing thrust at the stern, it spun sideways on the water.

Articles 2 and 3 follow, and they then enter the network area.

Six speedboats that were about to collide with the ship were also hit by the underwater net, their propellers got caught in the ropes, and the engine protection system automatically shut them down.

The last two speedboats attempted to withdraw through the gap on the north side, while the rescue boat ahead deployed a second set of rolling nets to block the remaining waterway.

All ten speedboats were anchored at sea.

Zhongtang Security dragged Hai She and the others to the inside of the deck and threw flotation devices to those in the water. The rescue boat approached the out-of-power speedboat, and the crew used lassos to pull people aboard one by one.

All 46 people involved have been taken into custody.

The crew of Wangjiacun laid six cargo safety nets on the deck, with seven to eight people per net. The crane raised the safety nets to below the mast crossbeams, about half a meter above the deck.

Sea Serpent and his men were crammed into the net, with machetes, hooks, and signal jamming equipment all packed into the evidence box.

Lin Dabiao walked to the first speedboat and lifted the wooden board under the driver's seat.

Inside were the cargo manifest for the Golden Fruit fleet, crew schedules, refrigerated container numbers, and parameters for the high-speed rescue vessel.

The document has the internal fax number of Hailian Port printed in the lower right corner.

The sea serpent's satellite phone was also removed.

The contact person recently has no name, only a note: Young Master.

Lin Fu retrieved the equipment registration information from the shore. All ten speedboats were registered under the name of Haichang Aquatic Products Service Cooperative, but the insured entity was Shengchao Culture and Entertainment Group of the provincial capital.

The sea serpent began to struggle upon hearing the words "Sheng Chao".

"We targeted the cargo ourselves; it has nothing to do with Shengchao. Haichang Seafood owed us fuel money, which is why we took on this job. You can seize the boat, but detaining the people will offend the wrong people."

Lin Ting arrived at the lead ship aboard the Lin Yuan 01.

He went up to the deck, twirling two walnuts in his hand. Lin Dabiao placed the satellite phone, fax documents, and sea snake's personal belongings on the table.

One of them was an old silver medal.

The silver medal is engraved with "Cheng Hai" on the front and "Wu" on the back.

Lin Ting flipped through the faxed documents.

"Hailian provides the routes, Shengchao provides the funding, and Haichang Seafood sends the boats. You're in charge of securing the goods in the middle, and you're very familiar with the accounts. Which company in the provincial capital sent you?"

The sea serpent raised its chin.

"I've been at sea for seventeen years and I've seen it all. If the Wu family wants to protect someone, the coast guard has to call them first."

The Lin family has just sailed their boat out of the river mouth; they'd better not make any enemies at sea.

Lin Ting put the silver medal back into the evidence bag.

"Take a photo of everyone, and tow the boat and equipment back to Pier 6. Leave each of them a life jacket."

Lin Dabiao waited for the second half of the sentence.

Lin Ting turned around and looked towards the western coast.

"Dump the man on Black Dog Reef, two nautical miles from the coastline. Whoever comes back can go and warn the people behind him."
