Jiang Jihe then led her to the basketball hoop.

This is the area where they will be playing later. The students are all sitting in a circle outside with not much space, making this area much quieter.

"What did you just say to me?" Jiang Jihe asked again.

"Hey, is this your first time playing basketball, bro? Why are all the girls at your school staring at your physique?" She covered her mouth and laughed.

"I was too busy with homework and starting my business before to call, but I have some free time today." Jiang Jihe looked at himself.

"How's my figure?" he asked. "What does your sister think?"

Wen Zhining wanted to stand on tiptoe and whisper in his ear, but he gently pressed down on her shoulder and lowered his head to bring his ear closer.

"I like it, brother's muscles, I want to touch them." Her long eyelashes fluttered, so lively.

Jiang Jihe raised his eyes to look at her, and she looked back at him.

The surrounding air seemed to stand still, their gazes intertwined like fine threads, binding the two of them into a world that belonged only to them.

Xue Peng and Rong Jingshuo exchanged a glance, both feeling that something was amiss.

Wen Zhining slowly turned her head, and Jiang Jihe then calmly withdrew his gaze and straightened up.

Wen Yuesheng arrived and shooed Wen Zhining aside, saying, "Get ready to start. Don't stand here and you might get accidentally hurt."

"Okay." Wen Zhining, holding the milk tea, clenched her fist as she walked past Jiang Jihe, as if to cheer him on.

Jiang Jihe's lips curved slightly.

Wen Zhining found a spot for the audience, and the surrounding gazes were all subtly drawn to her.

Because everyone knew that Jiang Jihe had a girlfriend, they all assumed that Wen Zhining was Jiang Jihe's sister or something.

A boy approached to ask for her contact information, and Wen Yuesheng saw him and shouted, "Hey!"

Jiang Jihe looked over together.

Xue Peng said with a smile, "Everyone, I know this girl is pretty, but we can't start chatting her up right now."

Everyone then put their minds at rest for the time being.

Wen Zhining stood still, her gaze sweeping around before returning to Jiang Jihe.

He looked at her, and she blinked, revealing a shallow dimple in response.

Game start.

Jiang Jihe and his three teammates gained possession of the ball and began to pass and shoot in perfect coordination.

The one who attracted Wen Zhining's attention the most was, of course, the dazzling and brilliant Jiang Jihe.

The boy was covered in sweat, his arm muscles were drenched in sweat, his thighs were tense, and he made a perfect layup by dodging one obstacle after another.

Screams erupted one after another.

During the three-minute halftime break, Jiang Jihe casually wiped his sweat and subconsciously looked in a certain direction.

But then he discovered that the person holding the milk tea he bought was nowhere to be seen.

"Your sister is missing," Jiang Jihe said to Wen Yuesheng.

"They must think we're bored playing ball and have gone off somewhere to play again," Wen Yuesheng gritted his teeth. "I hope they don't get targeted by those brats from our school."

Jiang Jihe glanced at that spot again.

The match resumed.

In the second half, Jiang Jihe's team sped up considerably, seemingly changing their tactics to secure an early victory.

The others cooperated with him.

Just before the game was about to end, Wen Zhining returned to her previous spot, holding a bottle of water.

Just then, Jiang Jihe made his final shot, which went in and ended the game.

"So handsome."

"Why isn't this kind of man mine? I'm so sad."

"A top student is a top student. He's good at studying and good at basketball. Is there anything he can't do?"

Wen Zhining walked over after the event ended.

Wen Yuesheng saw that she was holding a bottle of water and assumed it was for him. "You're quite sensible."

He stretched out his hand, and the water bottle brushed past his hand.

Wen Zhining walked up to him, turned to the side without pausing, and went to stand in front of Jiang Jihe.

"Brother, you drink." Wen Zhining glanced at Wen Yuesheng and said to Jiang Jihe.

"I can see you've been working hard, unlike some people who just coast along without breaking a sweat."

Wen Yuesheng: "..."

"Where am I not sweating?" Wen Yuesheng pulled at his collar and sniffed. "I smell like sweat."

Wen Zhining was even more disgusted.

Then she winked at Jiang Jihe, urging him to quickly get her some water to save face.

The two siblings were bickering, and Jiang Jihe sided with Wen Zhining, taking the water and taking two steps back.

Wen Zhining paused for a moment, pursed her lips, lowered her eyelashes to look at the ground, and clutched her dress.

"Well, I'll be going now," she said, turning to leave.

Jiang Jihe pulled her back, noticing the girl's low spirits and thoughts.

"I'm sweating too, and I'm afraid you'll feel uncomfortable smelling it."

His palms were sweaty. He grabbed her hand and then immediately let go, explaining as he did so.

"No, you don't smell as filthy as my brother." She smiled, taking the opportunity to subtly criticize Wen Yuesheng.

Wen Yuesheng rolled his eyes. "Old Jiang, you take the trophy. I'm going back to my dorm to take a shower."

"Okay," Jiang Jihe replied.

The audience was almost gone, but the teachers who organized the competition were still settling accounts, and the trophies had not yet been awarded.

Jiang Jihe was waiting.

Wen Zhining stood in front of him, unzipped her bag, took out a tissue, and reached out to wipe the sweat from his forehead.

Now it was Jiang Jihe's turn to be stunned.

He stared blankly at the girl in front of him who was focused on wiping her sweat, and didn't have time to react and stop her.

"Brother, please lower your head, okay?" she said softly.

Jiang Jihe lowered his head subconsciously.

She wiped her forehead with a tissue, and then carefully wiped away the stray hairs with her hand.

On the face, chin, and neck.

He tilted his head back slightly. The tissue was a bit stiff, but she wiped him very gently, as if afraid he would be uncomfortable.

The afternoon sun was dazzling, and Jiang Jihe squinted, then lowered his eyes slightly to look at Wen Zhining.

She stood in the sunlight, the light dancing on her clear face, vivid and beautiful, like a scene from a story.

Jiang Jihe felt that the sunlight was no longer so dazzling; it was just right.

"Ningning." He called her that without even realizing it.

Wen Zhining lowered her hand and obediently responded when she heard him call her that.

Jiang Jihe raised his hand slightly.

"Jiang Jihe, you can come over to receive your trophy now and sign it," the teacher hosting the event called out to him.

Jiang Jihe's raised hand froze, then he lowered it, walked over there, signed the papers, and took the trophy.

Jiang Jihe took a few sips from that bottle of water, and he still holds it, along with the trophy.

Wen Zhining isn't particularly interested in the trophy right now.

"Ningning," Jiang Jihe called to her.

Skilled and natural.

He paused, and seeing that she didn't react much to the way he addressed her, he continued, "I'll go back to my dorm first, take a shower, it'll be quick."

"Ningning, do you want to wait downstairs?" he asked, "or come into the dorm with me?"

University life is free; as long as someone guides you, you can enter the dormitory.

"It's a bit sunny outside, wait for me in the dorm," he said.

"Okay." Wen Zhining nodded. "It's a good opportunity to go and see if my brothers' dorms are as dirty and messy as they say online."

The two left the playground.

When Le Baiqing brought the water over, she could only see the next match of another class.

She glanced at the time; she had arrived just in time, as Jiang Jihe's competition had just ended.

She had it all planned out. After Jiang Jihe finished his competition, when all the girls in the school were praising him in front of everyone, she would bring him water and surprise him, showing off to the girls that this outstanding person was hers, and that they had no chance.

How could this happen? Where is everyone?
