Huayu 2007: Starting with fleecing the "Fairy Sisters"

The day for the system to be turned on arrived quickly.

The date was chosen by someone hired by Jiang Zhiqiang. It was said to be the best auspicious day of the month, suitable for sacrifices, starting construction, and breaking ground, and everything would go smoothly.

The filming location was chosen to be an old-fashioned guesthouse in Jinghong City—which is also the home of the female lead Liu Miaomiao in the movie. The first scene after filming began was also shot here.

The film crew has completed all the interior setup there, and all equipment and personnel have arrived in advance.

Out of consideration for keeping a low profile, no media were invited to the launch event.

On the one hand, Wu Wei, as a newcomer, took on the roles of director, screenwriter, and male lead. The outside world has been questioning him non-stop. The rumors that his previous incident with Liu Yifei on the set of "The Forbidden Kingdom" were just hype have not completely dissipated, and there is no need to let those reporters come and make things worse.

On the other hand, Liu Yifei's recent troubles are still ongoing. Although the focus has shifted to Song Dazui, those paparazzi have finally left, and Anle doesn't want to cause any more trouble.

Therefore, the opening ceremony will be kept simple.

At 8:00 a.m., everyone gathered in the hotel lobby, ready to board the bus to the filming location.

Just then, Jiang Zhiqiang's phone rang.

He answered the phone, listened for a few minutes, and immediately frowned.

Wu Wei, noticing something was wrong, leaned over and asked, "President Jiang, what's wrong?"

Jiang Zhiqiang hung up the phone and said with a stern face, "Dozens of reporters came to the filming location and completely blocked the entrance to the guesthouse, saying they wanted to interview you."

"Interview me?"

Wu Wei was somewhat surprised: "Didn't we not invite the media?"

"I don't know what happened."

Jiang Zhiqiang shook his head: "I asked the people at the scene, and they weren't quite sure either. It seems to be related to what's happening online..."

Just then, a staff member came running over with a laptop and handed it to Jiang Zhiqiang: "Mr. Jiang, please take a look at this."

After he finished speaking, he subconsciously glanced at Wu Wei.

Wu Wei had a vague feeling that something was wrong, so he immediately leaned over to look at the screen.

The screen displays a post from the Tianya Forum, which was posted around 10 PM last night, and already has several thousand replies.

The headline boldly proclaimed: "Conclusive Evidence! The person who exposed Song Dazui isn't his classmate at all, but Wu Wei, who saved Liu Yifei on the set of 'The Forbidden Kingdom'!"

Wu Wei's heart sank.

Scroll down to read the post.

The poster claimed that a few days ago, while playing games at an internet cafe, he sat next to Wu Wei and personally witnessed him posting on the Tianya Forum with the ID "Chusheng Dongxi Song Dazui".

The post reads—

"That day, I was at an internet cafe with my girlfriend and her best friend. After he came in, my girlfriend and her best friend kept praising how handsome he was. I was a little annoyed, so I glanced at him a few more times."

"I noticed he was typing away very fast, so I glanced at his screen out of curiosity and saw that he was posting on the Tianya Forum. At the time, I didn't think much of it and didn't pay attention to what he was posting."

"I've been playing games at internet cafes for the past few days, and it wasn't until this afternoon that I found out about Song Dazui being exposed. When I saw the whistleblower's ID was 'Rising Sun Song Dazui,' I immediately remembered—wasn't that the guy sitting in the corner next to me that day?"

"In the evening, my girlfriend came to have dinner with me. She excitedly told me that the handsome guy she saw in the internet cafe that day was named Wu Wei. He was the same guy who had pursued Liu Yifei on the set of 'The Forbidden Kingdom' and later saved her. He recently came to Jinghong City to film a movie and might become a big star in the future."

"I connected them all at once."

"So it turns out he's the one who leaked the information about Song Dazui!"

"That makes perfect sense. Wu Wei likes Liu Yifei so much, he definitely wouldn't stand by and watch Song Dazui slander her like that, so he retaliated in anger!"

"To prove that I'm not lying, I went to the internet cafe and asked the owner for the surveillance video from that night. I took a few screenshots, and although they're a bit blurry, you should still be able to tell the difference."

"This person's height, appearance, posture, and build are exactly the same as Wu Wei's!"

"Moreover, the timestamps on the surveillance footage match. He entered the internet cafe at 9:21 PM on the 11th, immediately plugged in a USB drive after turning on the computer, clearly uploading a video. Then he started typing rapidly, and the time after he finished typing was 9:55 PM."

"And the time he posted that message was exactly 9:55! What a coincidence!"

"If you still don't believe me, I have one more important piece of evidence!"

"After posting that day, he typed some more words intermittently, as if replying to something. But when I checked his account, I found that he hadn't posted anything else besides that main post. So I compared the time he typed with the time he replied to the comments below the post."

"Another major discovery has been made!"

"I checked all the accounts that replied during the corresponding time period and found several accounts with overseas IPs. The account 'Chusheng Dongxi Song Dazui' is an overseas IP, which is obviously using a VPN to cover up its real identity. So I suspect that these are all Wu Wei's alternate accounts."

"Most of these accounts are newly registered and no useful information can be found. However, there is an account with the ID 'Young and Promising' that is an old account, registered in 2004, and has posted quite a few posts."

"The following are screenshots of this account's posting history over the years."
