Did he trick the young marshal into becoming sworn brothers and then go south to Huangpu Military Ac

As soon as Lin Qi made his suggestion, the entire conference room fell into a deathly silence.

Chang was stunned and remained frozen in her chair.

His eyes, which had been slightly drooping, suddenly widened, his pupils contracted sharply, and his hand holding the teacup trembled slightly.

Merging into Whampoa?!

Me, the school principal?!

Everything is under my command?!

Chang was completely confused, utterly bewildered by Lin Qi's intentions.

He originally thought Lin Qi wanted to build an independent army, but he didn't expect him to directly offer him the biggest cake!

Chang began to ponder, weighing the pros and cons of becoming the principal.

He knew in his heart that although Lin Qi was definitely in charge of the actual operation and logistics of the school, as long as he held the title of principal and the school bore the Huangpu nameplate, he could still be considered a principal.

Therefore, all the pilots who graduate from this flight school and fly fighter jets through the sky in the future will be, in name and in law, his disciples!

This is equivalent to gaining the legitimacy and popular support of the entire air force without bloodshed or spending a penny!

With this air force loyal to him, his power will only grow, and he will suffer no losses.

Once you understand this, joy erupts like an uncontrollable volcano, instantly shattering all your defenses and calculations.

"Snapped!"

Chang slammed his hand on the table and abruptly stood up.

His eyes gleamed with joy and fervor, but his face adopted a righteous and awe-inspiring expression, as if he were willing to die for the revolution.

"Taku is right! Absolutely right!"

Chang turned to Wang and Hu, and loudly rebuked them: "Lord Wang, Lord Hu, to put it bluntly, you two have no idea how cruel modern warfare is! Without air superiority, infantry are sitting ducks on the battlefield! Tuozhi's proposal is far-sighted and truly considers the long-term plan of the revolution! An aviation school must be built! And it must be built immediately!"

Upon hearing this, Madam Wang and Madam Hu blushed instantly. They were about to retort, but Madam Chang ignored them. He turned to Lin Qi, his eyes filled with the gratitude of a kindred spirit: "Tuozhi, rest assured! Since you've entrusted this important responsibility to Huangpu, I, Chang, will do everything in my power to live up to your expectations! I'll take on the role of principal of the aviation branch school, though the specifics will still require your personal decision!"

Seeing Chang betray his country so ruthlessly for military power, Wang and Hu felt worse than if they had swallowed a dead fly.

The two realized with despair that, under the combined attack of the Chang family and Lin Qi, their previous obstruction was nothing but a joke.

With the two military leaders working together, they were powerless to resist.

The two could only grit their teeth and swallow their anger, their faces ashen, as they reluctantly raised their hands to agree to the proposal.

Sitting to the side, Lin Zichao held a teacup, watching the dramatic scene, and smiled as he stroked his white beard.

He saw the ruthlessness of Lin Qi's open scheme: using the fictitious title of principal to break through the Chang family's defenses and make them willingly become a shield.

"The younger generation is truly formidable."

Lin Zichao sighed inwardly, "With such a brilliant and capable person as the Lin family, there's no need for an old man like me to go into battle."

……

As soon as the decision to establish the aviation branch school was finalized, Lin Qi immediately threw himself into the preparatory work like a wound-up toy.

He was acutely aware of the urgency of the situation.

They spent a fortune to buy 100 Boeing fighter jets, which will arrive in Hong Kong in two months.

He absolutely would not allow such an embarrassing situation of wasting resources, such as waiting for soldiers to board.

The scaffolding for the pilots must be erected within two months.

Back in his office, Lin Qi immediately began drafting the enrollment brochure.

To ensure the quality of students, he set standards comparable to those for top scorers in the national college entrance examination, including age, education, and physical fitness.

The recruitment brochure, bearing the official seals of the headquarters and the Whampoa Military Academy, quickly spread throughout Guangdong and Guangxi and even the whole country via newspapers.

After securing students, the crucial issue of faculty resources came to the forefront.

Lin Qi didn't go looking for those warlords who only knew how to talk about war on paper. Instead, he took the list of active instructors from the Whampoa Military Academy and focused his gaze precisely on one name.

Zhou Zhirou.

As a time traveler, Lin Qi was all too aware of the weight behind this name.

In the original timeline, Zhou Zhirou could be considered the founder of the Republic of China's Air Force.

Starting almost from scratch, he built the aviation system in the early Republic of China from a very poor foundation.

In the early stages of the War of Resistance against Japan, he commanded young pilots to fight against the elite Japanese air force in various major battles, using outdated fighter planes and achieving inspiring air combat results.

Although later in the later stages of the War of Resistance against Japan, due to the decline of national strength, the inability to replenish aircraft, and various constraints from high-level command, air superiority was lost, Zhou Zhirou's abilities were questioned by all sectors.

But in Lin Qi's view, it was by no means Zhou Zhirou's responsibility alone.

Even a skilled cook cannot cook without rice. In a country without an independent aviation industry, any air force general can only face the tragedy of running out of ammunition and supplies.

But now, the situation is different.

Lin Tuozhi will provide Zhou Zhirou with a continuous supply of fighter jets and the most advanced air combat concepts!

Lin Qi sent someone to summon Zhou Zhirou to his office.

At that time, Zhou Zhirou was just an ordinary tactical instructor with little reputation in Huangpu.

When Zhou Zhirou heard that Lin Qi was going to hand over the newly approved aviation branch school to him and directly promote him to the position of director of teaching, she was stunned.

"Vice Principal Lin...you...you're serious?"

Zhou Zhirou's voice trembled with excitement.

He had always been very passionate about aviation and had privately studied a lot of foreign air combat data, but he had no opportunity to put his skills to use.

These days, being the director of academic affairs at the aviation branch school is like a windfall!

"I would never joke about matters of national importance."

Lin Qi looked at Zhou Zhirou, his eyes filled with trust: "Zhirou, I've seen your abilities. I'm entrusting the foundation of the aviation branch school to you. You'll be fully responsible for administration, discipline, and internal affairs. I only need one result: within two months, I want to see a respectable team of flight cadets!"

"Yes! Rest assured, Principal! Even if Zhou Zhirou is shattered to pieces, she will never betray your kindness and trust!"

Zhou Zhirou stood at attention, gave a standard military salute, and his eyes burned with the fervor of a soldier dying for his confidant.

With administrative management personnel in place, the most crucial aspect—flight instruction—still requires genuine experts.

Without delay, Lin Qi drove directly to the field airfield deep in the suburbs.
