Crunch-!

The rusty door bolt made a screeching sound as Qi Xie pushed open the door to his consultation room and walked out.

Before me was a long corridor with an old terrazzo floor, smeared with large patches of dark blood, making it look filthy.

The walls, also splattered with blood, were cracked in large areas, creating a chilling effect when combined with the blinding white light from the overhead incandescent bulbs.

Looking to the left and right sides of the corridor, Qi Xie found the hospital's layout to be very strange.

Normally, hospitals would categorize their departments and place them in different areas, but this hospital is different.

Three completely unrelated departments are located in one corridor: Qi Xie's gynecology department, pediatrics department, surgery department, and plastic surgery department.

In addition, there is a closed operating room, and at the end of one side of the corridor is a pharmacy.

Just as Qi Xie was contemplating whether to rob the pharmacy right now...

The doors of the pediatrics, surgery, and plastic surgery departments opened one after another, and three people, all wearing blood-stained white coats and looking wary, walked out.

Clearly, these are the other participants in this event.

The man who came out of the pediatrics department was in his early twenties, with a sinister face and shoulder-length hair.

The surgeon who emerged was a middle-aged man wearing glasses, whose Mediterranean-style haircut perfectly matched his white coat.

The plastic surgery department was staffed by a nonchalant, short-haired man with his hands in his pockets. He seemed very restless, constantly fidgeting with his leg shaking and his eyes darting around.

This is a five-player dungeon; now, with Qi Xie added, there are four people.

So there's one person left...

Qi Xie ignored the others and turned to walk towards the end of the corridor in the opposite direction from the pharmacy.

The others exchanged glances, said nothing, and silently followed.

Soon, a spacious area appeared before them.

Just as Qi Xie had guessed, at the other end of the corridor was a waiting hall resembling a hospital, with rows of stainless steel chairs.

There are other corridors around the lobby, which should lead to other departments, but all of them are now closed, with red warning lights indicating "out of service" above them.

On one side of the corridor directly opposite them was a tightly closed tempered glass door.

Next to their corridor, directly opposite the main entrance, was an information desk, where a pale-faced girl in a nurse's uniform was sitting.

One nurse and four doctors.

Qi Xie nodded.

Everyone's here.

Then, before anyone could speak...

He suddenly raised his hand:

"Come on! Everyone, look at me! Look at me! I have something to announce..."

……

……

At the same time the instance opens.

In another instance that never closes, there is an office building shrouded in a gray haze.

On the top floor of an office building, in a luxuriously furnished office, a man dressed in black sat behind a desk, quietly listening to another woman report on various matters.

After a while, the woman finished her report.

The man tapped his index finger on the table and said calmly:

"So... the Li family is planning to side with that {Blood Axe Butcher} Qi Xie?"

"Yes, Guild Master, yesterday Li Song sent a private statement to our guild in the name of the Li family, stating that if we continue to attack Qi Xie, it would be tantamount to offending the Li family."

The woman said angrily:

"They knew we had a warrant for this guy's arrest, yet they still offered to bail him out. Isn't the Li family going against our Black Saint Guild? They're too arrogant!"

"In that case, we should kill that Qi Xie even more! Otherwise, wouldn't that be a blatant slap in our face...?"

"Calm down, Xiaoyan."

Across the table, the Black Saint Guild leader calmly raised his hand, stopping the woman from speaking:

"I already know about this. Now, let me ask you first: has our guild designated a new person to hunt down Qi Xie?"

The woman paused, her expression shifting from resentment to difficulty, and stammered:

"No... That guy is strange. Logically speaking, after only three dungeons, he should only be a beginner or intermediate traveler, but his combat power completely surpasses that of travelers of the same level."

We've designated a high-level traveler, making it almost impossible for them to be ranked alongside him, but designating someone of his level would make it difficult for them to defeat him... so we haven't found a suitable candidate yet..."

"I see."

The man nodded and said casually:

"The arrest warrant doesn't need to be withdrawn, but don't send anyone else to deal with Qi Xie either..."

"What?! The president!"

The woman was startled upon hearing this:

"But we've already issued the wanted notice. If we don't kill this guy, it will damage our guild's reputation..."

The man raised his hand, stopping the woman from speaking again, and slowly stood up:

"Xiao Yan...you women are just too easily emotional..."

As he spoke, he strolled to the small wine cabinet next to him, took out a bottle of red wine and two stemmed glasses, and very ostentatiously filled two glasses:

"You need to look at it from a broader perspective. Why did the Li family issue a private statement instead of making a public statement directly in the Traveler Circle?"

To put it bluntly, this is a tacit understanding between major powers.

He handed the woman a glass of red wine, a confident smile playing on his lips, as if to say, "Everything is under control."

"The Li family wants to curry favor with Qi Xie, but they don't dare to completely break ties with us, so they don't say it openly and give each other a way out."

"Since they've said that, and we don't have any easy way to kill Qi Xie right now, we might as well do the Li family a favor."

The woman, holding a wine glass, said somewhat hesitantly:

"But...we've already issued the arrest warrant...are we just going to let Qi Xie run rampant outside like this?"

"Ha, so many things happen in the travel community every day. It's just a statement. We'll let it go and no one will remember it in no time."

"As for that Qi Xie?"

The man swirled his wine glass, gazing at the dark red liquid within, and gave a disdainful sneer.

"He's just an insignificant nobody. We just haven't really gone to the trouble of killing him. If we were serious, we have at least ten ways to find him and kill him."

"But such a minor character can earn a favor from the Li family, which is very valuable. So I will take pity on him and spare his life."

"I see! You have such a brilliant insight, President! You have such a great sense of the big picture!"

The woman suddenly realized what was happening and looked at her with admiration.

"Of course! Hahahaha!!!"

Seeing the woman's eyes, the man couldn't help but laugh triumphantly.

"However, President,"

The woman seemed to remember something else, and asked with a curious look:

"Although we don't specify who should be matched with Qi Xie, what if we're unlucky and one of our people is naturally matched with Qi Xie?"

"The wanted notice hasn't been withdrawn yet. Doesn't this guy know we're not planning to fight him anymore? Won't he kill our men without hesitation?"

The man's smile froze, and his laughter stopped abruptly.

"It can't be...it can't be that much of a coincidence, right?"
