Three times married to Yama

I haven't seen my master for a while, and I miss him quite a bit.

However, I've seen my master much more often this year than in previous years.

"Of course I'm excited." I nodded slightly. "Master, have you taken care of everything in the spirit world?"

"Hmm, that's about right." Master replied with a light laugh. "Taking advantage of the Lingyu Mountain exchange conference, Master has come to check on your studies."

I was slightly taken aback, feeling a little embarrassed. Why did I feel like my parents were watching me during the exam?

Master smiled faintly as before, "Do what you can. I don't want you to get hurt in your pursuit of first place."

After saying that, he got up and prepared to walk to the judges' table at the front. "The competition is about to start, I'll go first, and I'll come find you after it's over."

"Yes, Master." I nodded.

After taking a couple of steps, the master suddenly stopped. He glanced around and asked abruptly, "Is Yan Jinyue not here?"

I replied, "No, he went back to the Underworld for some business and probably won't be back for a few days."

"I see..." Master nodded.

Seeing my master's expression, I paused and asked, "Did Master ask about him... because of something?"

"It's nothing, I was just a little surprised to find him not by your side. Okay, I'll be going now."

Is that so?

I stared suspiciously at my master's back. I had never seen my master care about Yan Jinyue before. It seems that something happened between my master and Yan Jinyue last time in the spirit world.

After the master took his seat, the second competition officially began.

As the group of ten entered the arena, everyone was wary of those around them, their eyes fixed on each other as if the other was about to launch a surprise attack.

Unexpectedly, Yuan Tiansheng was drawn into the first group. He was still the youngest in the group, but this time no one dared to underestimate him. After all, his sudden defeat of his opponent in one move last time had caused a stir and discussion.

Just as I looked over, I saw Yuan Tiansheng raising his eyes and looking in my direction. Our eyes met, and I saw him raise a barely perceptible cold smile, then raise his hand and make a throat-slitting gesture.

I,"?"

When I saw him do that, I was surprised. Was he provoking everyone, or was this action targeting me?

Regardless of the reason, his behavior was far too arrogant. If he had been holding back during the first competition, this time he completely exposed his arrogance.

Xia Zheng was sitting right next to me, so he naturally saw what Yuan Tiansheng was doing.

He was so angry he kept yelling in my ear, "Master! Did you see that? He's clearly provoking you! He's so arrogant for such a young age! I hope his rivals will teach him a lesson!"

At this point, I calmed down. Hearing Xia Zheng's words, I said softly, "The people on the field may not be able to teach him how to be a person. Yuan Tiansheng will definitely win this time and get a spot in the finals."

Xia Zheng couldn't help but frown. "Master, how can you be so sure?"

"Of course." I raised an eyebrow. "He's here for me."

In response, I made a very polite gesture to Yuan Tiansheng on the field, silently raising my middle finger.
