Police Chief's Anti-Organized Crime Storm

"Please step outside for a moment." Lu Xiujuan looked at Fatty Xu, who paused slightly, then reluctantly turned and walked out of the house.

Lu Xiujuan was a little embarrassed. She took off her outer clothes, took out a piece of paper wrapped in an oil paper bag from her underwear, put her clothes back on, picked up the paper and handed it to Lin Ying.

When Lin Ying took it and looked at it, her head buzzed and her mind went completely blank.

This is an autopsy report, or more precisely, a copy of an autopsy report. Looking at the horrifying words on it, Lin Ying's body trembled slightly: Gao Lan, county magistrate of Gaoshan County, 30 years old, multiple fractures, lacerations in her genital area, obvious signs of sexual assault, and three different samples of male fluid detected inside her body…

Lin Ying's gaze was fixed on those words: suspected assault... three different fluids from the opposite sex... In other words, County Magistrate Gao Lan was assaulted in her dormitory by three different men?!

She could hardly believe her eyes; the shock was overwhelming. An insatiable rage, a boundless fire of fury, ignited within her. Lin Ying's breathing became rapid, her gaze like a knife piercing Lu Xiujuan, causing Lu Xiujuan to tremble. She had never seen such a terrifying look before, from this female bureau chief…

Lu Xiujuan was sweating profusely with nervousness. Her gaze towards Lin Ying was filled with fear, and her voice trembled as she said, "Director Lin, you..."

Realizing she had lost her composure, Lin Ying quickly averted her gaze. When she looked at Lu Xiujuan again, her gaze softened considerably, yet remained sharp.

"Where did this report come from?"

I wrote it myself.

"So, you're the forensic pathologist for County Magistrate Gao Lan, and you performed the autopsy?"

"No, I didn't even have time to do an autopsy. The body had already been cremated. I just did a routine check. At that time, Director Liu asked me to print out another autopsy report immediately and even made me sign it. So, so..." Lu Xiujuan didn't dare to continue. She knew very well what that report meant and what this report meant.

Lin Ying was devastated. She never imagined that Gao Lan, as the head of a county, would die such a tragic death, especially since she had been assaulted before her death, and not just by one person, but by three.

The anger within her seemed about to erupt, impossible to suppress. Who was so audacious as to dare to touch three county heads? Did they even know Gao Lan's identity?

Clearly, this could not have been a spontaneous crime. The fact that the perpetrator was able to get to the county magistrate's dormitory indicates that it was not a spur-of-the-moment decision; it was a premeditated crime.

"Tell me in detail, tell me everything about your autopsy." Lin Yingqiang suppressed his anger and forced his expression to appear calm, but a fierce fire still burned in his eyes.

Lu Xiujuan began recounting her autopsy, describing how she was forced to sign a false autopsy report. Her voice was very loud, and it was clear she was extremely angry. She mentioned Liu Yixiong's threatening look; at that moment, she dared not refuse to sign. If she didn't sign, she wouldn't be able to leave the forensic room.

Lin Ying's chest almost burst open. She never expected that Gaoshan County was so corrupt. The deputy director of the Public Security Bureau forced the forensic doctor to sign a false report and did not follow the procedures to cremate Gao Lan's body. They didn't even follow the basic procedures. How lawless were these people?

After listening to Lu Xiujuan's account, Lin Ying's anger almost reached its peak, but she still didn't lash out. She just glanced at Lu Xiujuan quietly and remained silent. Lu Xiujuan looked at her with some concern. She could tell that the new police chief in front of her was probably on the verge of exploding in rage.

"You did a great job. Now, leave this to us. I'll send someone to take you to a safe place. Your mother should be here soon." Lin Ying's expression seemed calm, but Lu Xiujuan knew that there was definitely a fire burning inside her.

Just as Lin Ying finished speaking, a knock sounded on the door, knock...knock knock knock...

"Enter."

With a creak, the door opened, and a figure appeared in the doorway. It was Duan Fei, carrying an old man on his back. Upon seeing him, Lu Xiujuan screamed, "Mom!" and rushed over.

"Juan'er!" Lu's mother struggled to get off Duan Fei's back, hugged her daughter tightly, and burst into tears. She was trembling all over, and Lu Xiujuan was also shaking. She was both surprised and delighted. She hadn't expected the new police chief to act so quickly.

"Mom, are you alright?" Her father passed away early, and Lu Xiujuan and her mother depended on each other for survival. Her mother was in poor health and developed health problems after giving birth to her. However, she still raised her with great difficulty and supported her through university. She also became ill from overwork. Unexpectedly, in her old age, she encountered a life-threatening situation.

Lu Xiujuan was speechless. She turned around and bowed deeply to Lin Ying, saying, "Director Lin, thank you, thank you so much! I thank you on behalf of my mother!"

Lin Ying quickly helped her up: "Lu Xiujuan, you don't need to do this. This is what we should do. It's my fault for being so late, making you and your daughter suffer."

Tears welled up in Lu Xiujuan's eyes again. The fear and anxiety of these past few days, the hiding and fleeing, and the grievances she had suffered had finally given her a glimmer of hope.

Duan Fei silently closed the door and left.

The old man also tried to bow to Lin Ying, but Lin Ying stopped him, saying, "Grandma, please don't do that, please don't do that!"

"Leader, leader, thank you, thank you!" Mother Lu was also in tears, the near-death experience making her even more fearful. She didn't know who Lin Ying was, but she could tell that it was this person in front of her who had sent people to rescue her.

"Old man, please don't say that. You have a good daughter. Your daughter is a hero. She dares to fight against evil forces. She is our role model. She is a good policewoman."

Lu's mother paused, looking at her daughter with a hint of relief. Lu Xiujuan's face flushed slightly, and she seemed a little flustered. Lin Ying's words filled her with a sense of pride.

"Grandma, did you see clearly who arrested you?" Lin Ying couldn't help but look at the old woman. Lu's mother nodded, then shook her head.

Lin Ying understood the situation and turned to instruct, "Duan Fei, please make another trip and take Lu Xiujuan and her mother to the base. Have someone protect them, and at the same time, write down a detailed report about what you encountered."

"Yes," Duan Fei quickly replied.

Upon hearing that she was leaving, Lu Xiujuan couldn't help but look at Lin Ying with some reluctance in her eyes: "Director Lin, I have hidden the original autopsy report somewhere. If you need it, I will take you to get it right away."

"No need for now. You go and settle in first. When the time is right, I will have someone go with you to retrieve the original report."

Lu Xiujuan nodded, took her mother's arm, and followed Duan Fei out of the room.

Meanwhile, the police station was in an uproar.
