Wen Qing opened her eyes and found herself lying in an unfamiliar bed.

The room was still luxuriously furnished, clearly still in Lin Zhiyan's villa, but not the one she had stayed in before.

She hesitated for a moment, then took a deep breath, stepped barefoot onto the soft carpet, and slowly walked forward, calling softly as she went, "Is anyone there? Brother, where have you been?"

But only her own voice echoed softly in the empty corridor, as if the entire villa had fallen asleep.

After turning another corner, faint voices could be heard coming from a half-open door ahead.
