Outrageous! Who said my wife is vain?!

As a full-time internet celebrity, Li Yaqi naturally can't film, edit, and release videos on the spot; some of her videos are pre-recorded.

She usually updates every two days, but this time she had a feeling that her Burger King review video might go viral, so she stayed up all night to edit the video and planned to add an extra episode.

After clicking "post," she was very nervous, but exhaustion made her fall asleep quickly.

Despite her anxiety, Li Yaqi didn't lose any sleep. When she woke up, it was already past 2 PM when she checked her phone.

I rubbed my eyes and couldn't wait to open the Douyin backend. It was exploding! It was really exploding!

In less than 24 hours, her video had reached 1.2 million views, 276,000 likes, over 30,000 favorites, over 110,000 shares, and over 10,000 comments!

Li Yaqi sat bolt upright, staring at the data on her phone screen, her mouth practically agape in a wide grin. She muttered, "It exploded! It exploded! Ahhhhh! That's great! That's great!"

I clicked on the comments to take a look.

Worry-free: A late-night newspaper! A late-night newspaper!

CC: Late-Night Happiness

Unorthodox: Ahhh! Watching this makes me so hungry, I really want to eat!

Use023: My boyfriend and I went to this store on its opening day, and the taste was unbeatable, especially the spicy chicken burger. However, it was super crowded right after it opened.

Eating without blinking: Looking for a seat, a seat!

Shui Shui: Is it a chain store? Is it a chain store? Is it only in Beijing?

Hurry up: Did you all watch the video? Didn't Kiki send the address? Burger King (Jinjie Store)?

Why not: How delicious can a hamburger be? Let's continue this trend!

Run faster: Kiki always tells her boyfriend in advance when she's going to pick him up, this one is obviously not him, and you can tell it's really delicious just by looking at how she eats it.

My favorite Yakult: There's a newly opened store in Beijing. The staff told me that all the food and drinks in their store, except for beverages, are produced in their own factory, not wholesale. They all have exclusive recipes and plan to open a chain in the future.

Ling, the ice cream lover: I'm from Beijing. I watched a video last night and really wanted to try it, so I took a taxi to Jin Street first thing this morning. It was so delicious! Qiqi's recommendation was definitely right!!!

Sweet Baby: They're all calorie bombs, but I really want to eat them!

Mint-flavored poop: I think I have this serious problem: the more I'm on a diet, the more I enjoy watching mukbang (eating broadcasts).

X's Shallow: Ahhh, is it only available in Beijing? I really want to eat it!

.....

After reading for a while, Li Yaqi began to reply to the comments that were at the top or were representative.

Kiki Loves Meat: Honey, this isn't an advertisement, this restaurant is seriously amazing, and it's always packed with customers. The owner doesn't need to work anymore!

Qiqi loves meat: Thank you for your support, Baozi! I'll find more delicious restaurants to recommend to you all in the future.

Kiki loves meat: Yes, that's right. Many people don't like their faces being exposed in front of the camera, so I blurred them all. But it was a huge workload, there were just too many customers in the store.

Kiki loves meat: I'll definitely go again. I love all the food at this restaurant. Next time, I can buy some to take home and review whether it's still as good. Would you like to see that? Leave a comment if you do!

……

Li Yaqi's video not only brought her popularity but also provided significant publicity for Burger King.

However, Mingxi, who was focused on promoting the store, didn't seem to achieve much. It was a bit better on Douyin, with many people in the comments saying they wanted to try it.

He was speechless at many of the comments under the Weibo post.

Xixi must be happy every day: Xixi, you've become naughty, tempting us with delicious food!

Clouds Rolling and Relaxing: I saw this store on Douyin (TikTok), it seems to be newly opened, but every video has so many people.

Bobo Loves Sports: Does Xixi eat so much? It's so good that she doesn't gain weight.

Rui Rui Loves Xi Xi: Did you go with Rui Rui? Xi Xi can't possibly finish all this food by herself.

Apprentice tailor: The person upstairs is right. Someone had said before that they saw the two of them shopping together.

Don't eat rabbits: XiXi's solo blog, don't mention irrelevant people.

Rui Rui loves Xi Xi: Xi Xi didn't say anything, why are you being nosy? It's common knowledge that a die-hard fan only breaks down when it comes to their real sister-in-law.

Hua Hua Hua Hua: Ordering so much, can we even finish it? This 208 yuan is such a waste! Don't they know there are still many children in mountainous areas who don't have enough to eat?

XiXi's Little Pig: Did the person upstairs actually see XiXi wasting money? That's just spreading rumors.

Quiet down: The maidservant is protecting her mistress again! I can't say anything, I can't say anything.

Mian: Hehe, the person upstairs hasn't even covered their skin properly yet and is already stirring up trouble. You should worry about the old skin on your master's face first; it probably needs to be repaired again!

....

Mingxi's face darkened. What kind of nonsense was this? She was speechless.

Although Mingxi didn't achieve the publicity effect he had imagined for his burger shop, Burger King still became a hit on the internet thanks to its incredibly delicious food.

Of course, Li Yaqi's video also played a significant role. After her video went viral, many internet celebrities in this field flocked to Burger King to shoot videos, eager to capitalize on any trending topic.

Burger King's official account quickly gained over 600,000 followers in a short period, with comments every day asking for the opening of new branches.

Locals in Beijing complain about having to queue every time they go, while people from other places complain that they don't have any there. If you can get your hands on it, then stop complaining.

Zhao Haiting even called Chu Yu to tease him, "You're really something, kid. You became an internet sensation not long after opening. You even said you'd have some of the food vloggers from my company promote you, but now you're the one riding on your coattails."

Chu Yu chuckled lightly, "What's this talk about 'taking advantage' between brothers? It's just a win-win situation."

"Haha, right, we brothers win together. By the way, your burger shop is packed every day, with such a high demand for branches, there must be quite a few people who want to franchise, right? You're making a fortune from the franchise fees."

"We don't plan to open franchising for the time being, but we will definitely open branches. We are already selecting locations and aim to have a Burger King store in every district of Beijing within two months."

After Chu Yu finished speaking, he paused for a moment, then continued, "Is someone trying to ask me about joining the franchise through you?"

After exclaiming "Damn!", Zhao Haiting said, "Are you a woman? You're so perceptive, you have a sixth sense!"

"Haha, it's not a sixth sense, it's just that you don't seem like the type of person who would ask me this kind of question."

"You know me well! There are a few guys I hang out with who aren't very capable, they lose money no matter what they do, and they just rely on their families for money. They see how popular your shop is and they're thinking of joining it to earn some pocket money. Knowing our relationship, they kept pestering me to ask them about it."

"We will open up franchising in the future, but there are no plans in the short term."

"Okay, I just wanted to ask for them, so they wouldn't keep bothering me. By the way, how's things going between you and Mingxi?" Zhao Haiting changed the subject, bringing up the topic he was most interested in.

"What kind of?"

"You're giving me a tongue twister, aren't you? How's your relationship going? You're not actually serious, are you?!"

"Why are you so nosy? I have a meeting right now, I have to go now, we'll talk later."

"Hey! No way! I'll come to your company tonight. It's been so long since we had dinner together."

"Okay, we'll talk about it later. I really have a meeting."

"Okay, okay! You busy person, get back to work. Wait for me at the company tonight."
