Cthulhu Panel: One organ mutates every day
Chapter 14 The Raging Lillian
Wei En nearly fainted.
Lillian rushed over, kicked the flesh statue over, pulled out two explosive pistols engraved with brass runes from her waist, and began firing at the flesh statue.
Bang bang bang.
The muzzle of the gun burst out in dazzling flashes as the bullets pierced the flesh-and-blood statue and exploded inside its body.
Minced meat splattered everywhere, then quickly reformed and glued back together, clumsily dodging away like someone just learning to walk.
Ethan rushed toward Wayne, pulled a small, pure white round piece from his pocket, crushed it into crumbs, and swiftly forced Wayne to open his mouth and swallow it.
Matthew then raised the black umbrella, activated the mechanism, and a dark gun muzzle emerged from the end of the umbrella handle. He fired a shot at the flesh statue with a "bang," just like a sniper rifle.
He then pulled a knife from the umbrella handle and rushed forward to help Lillian suppress the flesh statue, using the umbrella surface to block with one hand and the umbrella knife to slash with the other.
Ethan pulled Wayne quickly to the side, then gently patted his back, murmuring:
"It's alright, the messenger isn't that weak."
Within seconds of swallowing the pure white powder, Wayne gradually felt his consciousness being pulled back, and the oppressive and desperate emotions gradually dissipated.
Returning to the viewer, the first thing that catches the eye is the panel formed by the convergence of black threads, followed by Ethan's calm face.

"That's really the limit."
Wayne touched his neck and head; his neck wasn't broken, and his head was still intact. He then took a few steps back and looked at the watch face on his wrist:
Reality deviation: 6.1%
"What's the situation now?" Wayne asked.
Ethan opened his black briefcase and took out a large shotgun with a bayonet at the front.
"You stay here and keep watch, I'll go and assist the team leader and the others."
Ethan then moved steadily, shotgun in hand, and entered the fray, using the wide-range shotgun barrage to suppress the movement of the flesh statue.
Bang, bang.
Wein looked in that direction.
The flesh and blood statue did indeed come to life.
A rough body, supporting Bob's old mother's head, leaped left and right like a half-meter-tall old-faced baby. Even as it was beaten bloody and exhausted, it still revealed a fierce look, waiting for an opportunity to retaliate.
Lillian was agile and had excellent marksmanship. She wielded two explosive pistols with unparalleled skill, making her even more of a spy than a real agent.
With Matthew and Ethan controlling the flesh-and-blood creature's movements, Lillian's shots were almost always accurate.
Most importantly, Wayne could sense the excitement and madness in Lillian's eyes.
She was enjoying the fight.
Bang bang bang.
The continuous gunfire lasted for more than ten seconds before stopping.
The fleshy creature was riddled with bullet holes and its flesh was scattered, but it didn't bleed at all. It lay on the floor, hissed and struggled a couple of times, then stopped moving.
"Dead?" Wayne asked.
"I hope he's dead." Ethan changed his magazine, glancing at the watch on his wrist out of the corner of his eye.
Reality deviation: 6%
5.9 %
5.8 %
...
3.7 %
...
Lillian's eyes were filled with excitement; still immersed in the intense battle, she stared at the fleshy creature on the floor and asked:
"Team leader, do you need us to clean it up? Should we notify the operations department? A Class C mutant has appeared; dealing with it is not within our scope of responsibility. We have already completed our investigation."
Matthew stabbed the flesh-and-blood creature twice with his umbrella knife, his tone flat:
"Wait a little longer. This series of events may be related to the section chief's madness. If there is an opportunity, I hope we can get involved as much as possible. So, it would be best if our investigation department could handle this anomaly ourselves, and bring it back to the station intact if possible."
Lillian tilted her head to listen: "Roger that!"
"What is a Class C mutant?" Wayne asked, puzzled.
Ethan aimed his gun at the motionless, fleshy creature and explained:
"We call these deformed creatures, which are associated with the descent of evil gods and can cause an increase in the degree of reality deviation, alien species."
0%–10% are classified as Class C variants;
10%–20% are classified as Category B variants;
20%–30% are classified as Grade A variants;
Those exceeding 30% to 50% are classified as S-class variants, also known as clans.
As for more than 50%...
Seeing that Ethan wasn't going to continue, Wayne pressed, "What do you mean by over 50%?"
Ethan hesitated, glancing at Matthew.
Matthew replied, "The existence that causes a reality deviation of more than 50% is potentially dangerous to tell you now; we'll talk about it later."
Wayne nodded, indicating his understanding.
The classification of these different levels is quite clear. I wonder what level my "Old Days Panel" will allow me to reach...
Suddenly, the fleshy creature lying on the floor stood up abruptly, as if an unseen force had straightened it and pieced together the scattered pieces of flesh around it.
Ethan decisively picked up his shotgun.
Bang bang bang!
The flesh-and-blood creature, bracing itself against the gunshot, stiffly turned its head. Bob's mother's head turned to look at Wayne, then leaped up, enduring the impact of the bullet, and pounced on him.
An atmosphere of despair permeated the air.
Wei En stared at the old woman's head, instantly captivated by the aura of despair. He felt a sudden wave of despondency and despair wash over him. His thoughts and body seemed to be unable to obey his commands, as if suppressed by the overwhelming despair, making it impossible for him to instinctively dodge.
Matthew glanced at his wrist; the reality deviation had soared to 6.8%.
Lillian quickly stepped in front of Wayne.
She had somehow donned boxing gloves and, with a twist of her waist, threw a punch at the airborne, fleshy creature.
It directly blasted the fleshy creature in the air to pieces, sending bits of flesh flying everywhere.
But before it even landed, it was reshaped and solidified by an unknown force, its size increased and its aura became even stronger.
Lillian touched the ground with her toes and suddenly darted out.
She sidestepped the flesh-and-blood creature's frontal charge, then crouched down, lowered her shoulder, and lunged forward, unleashing a barrage of alternating hooks and elbows, relentlessly beating the creature.
The lithe and well-proportioned female figure contrasts sharply with the superb, brutal fighting skills.
Until the flesh and blood creature is pulverized beyond recognition.
She briefly snapped out of her "self-forgetfulness" and awaited further instructions.
Reality deviation: 7.0%
The deviation from reality is still increasing.
"No need to hold back anymore, eliminate them with all your might." Matthew frowned and gently stroked the tentacle-like mustache at the corner of his mouth.
Instantly, a damp and cold aura spread out, all rushing towards Lillian.
"receive."
Upon receiving the slippery scent, Lillian moved with lightning speed, as if skipping through frames at double speed, and began to clasp her hands together and silently chant.
The sound of women's prayers gradually rose.
Wayne's thoughts gradually cleared under the influence of the prayers.
Lillian's red hair was as dazzling as white flames and writhes like a venomous snake.
Her skin cracked inch by inch, black lines spreading out, exuding an aura of purification amidst its eeriness, and every move she made affected the entire space.
Then, a soft female voice chanted a prayer that echoed through the room. The prayer seemed to come from a distant void, with clear syllables but no discernible meaning.
Accompanied by a flurry of light and shadow, it evoked a sense of both repulsion and profound sacredness.
The reason for this aversion might be that human existence is too filthy, and therefore unworthy to hear those sacred prayers.
the other side.
The scattered pieces of flesh from the bloody creature reassembled, its head repeatedly shattered and reassembled, twisted beyond recognition, before lunging at Lillian.
Faced with such a bizarre scene, Wayne felt his mind become clear, as if purified. He was almost stunned. He glanced at his wristwatch:
Reality deviation: 7.9%
As soon as Lillian finished reciting, the sound of the prayer echoed all around without stopping.
With a devout expression and unwavering gaze, her red hair danced wildly, black markings covered her neck, and tattered gray feathers emerged from the ends of her gauntlets. She delivered a powerful punch to the onrushing flesh and blood creature.
In the void, it seemed as if a gaze was looking this way. That gaze was sacred and solemn, but it disappeared in just a moment.
As the heavy punch struck, gray flames erupted, and the fleshy creature instantly disintegrated in mid-air, exploding into hissing black smoke as if it had been detonated.
The sound of the prayer grew increasingly faint and weak.
The tattered feathers at the end of Lillian's gauntlets disappeared, and the black patterns on her body gradually faded away, as if they had never existed, leaving no trace.
"She's too fierce! She's practically a killing machine! Is this really the gentle, reserved Lillian who's known for her amazing interpersonal skills...?"
Wayne quickly glanced at his wristwatch, where the hands were rapidly moving backward:
Reality deviation: 7.9%
6.8 %
...
0%
"The reality deviation meter only displays the highest value of the nearby reality deviation, so 7.9% is not the pollution intensity of that Class C alien, but the combined strength of the team leader and Lillian." Wayne understood.
