Desert Island Survival: A Hundredfold Improvement After Having a Baby?

Chapter 91 Even if you shout until your throat is hoarse, it won't do you any good today.

Deep within the rock crevice, the light was dim.

The fishy smell of fermenting seawater mixed with the men's sweat that hadn't been washed for days was so pungent it made people want to vomit.

Wang Qiang grabbed Song Ya by the hair and slammed her hard against the rough rock wall.

Song Ya let out a muffled groan from the impact, curling up in pain.

"Song Ya, do you still think of yourself as some pure and innocent white flower in the office building?"

Wang Qiang squatted down and gripped Song Ya's chin tightly. "How many times have I hinted at this to you at the company? You wouldn't go when I invited you out, you refused the bag I offered, what are you pretending to be, this virtuous woman?"

Song Ya's eyes were completely red. Her hands were tied behind her back and she couldn't break free. Tears streamed down her face.

"Manager Wang, I beg you... please let me go, I promise I'll repay you in the future..."

"Repay me?" Wang Qiang grinned lewdly. "You letting me have some fun is your way of repaying me, hehe..."

"Song Ya, have you always wondered why an intern who just finished her probation period was allowed to go on a luxury cruise with the higher-ups?"

He dug his fingers deep into Song Ya's flesh: "Lin Fan came on board to serve dishes and be a beast of burden, but what about you? I got special permission from the HR department!"

"If I can't handle you at the company, I'll figure out how to have some fun at sea!"

Wang Qiang spat on the ground, "It's better that the boat capsized. There are no cameras or police on this wretched island. You can shout yourself hoarse today, but it won't do any good!"

"Don't touch me... Everyone, please help me..." Song Ya cried until her voice was hoarse, looking outside in despair.

Chen Jian, along with his male colleagues whom he saw every day, all looked away without prior arrangement.

In a place where even the grass is eaten up, who cares if you live or die?

"Go ahead and cry, the more you cry, the more excited I get!" Wang Qiang grabbed Song Ya's collar.

"Rip..." The chiffon shirt was torn open, revealing a large expanse of fair skin.

"Ah, no... please, let me go..."

Song Ya screamed in agony, desperately trying to ram her knee into the ground.

But under the absolute suppression of power, her little resistance was nothing more than a joke.

Just as Wang Qiang's hand was about to pull off her belt, he shouted, "Stop!"

A cold, sharp rebuke suddenly rang out from behind the crowd.

Wang Qiang paused, turned his head, and looked at the source of the sound.

Su Qingxue stood a few meters away.

She looked extremely disheveled; her designer suit was tattered and covered in mud, and her hair was plastered messily to her face.

She hadn't intended to stop it, but upon hearing Song Ya's screams and seeing Wang Qiang's disgusting face, she ultimately couldn't suppress the last vestiges of her conscience.

She is not only the president of Shengtang Group, but also a woman.

I can't bear to see Song Ya being treated like this.

"Wang Qiang," Su Qingxue said coldly, looking at him, "let her go."

Wang Qiang's hand froze in mid-air.

Although he was starving, he still retained a sliver of illusion about civilized society.

If the people on this island are eventually rescued by the search and rescue team, Su Qingxue's words could put him in jail for life.

"President Su," Wang Qiang chuckled dryly, slowly standing up without moving his feet, "This girl is in cahoots with Lin Fan. Lin Fan killed several of our men up there with stones, and she's an accomplice! She'll face the death penalty when she gets back, so I'm teaching her a lesson on behalf of everyone."

"I said, let go." Su Qingxue's tone became more forceful, leaving no room for argument.

Wang Qiang's face turned pale and then red. He gritted his teeth and finally released his grip on Song Ya's hair.

He dared not gamble; what if the helicopter arrived tomorrow?

Song Ya felt a huge weight lifted off her shoulders and collapsed to the ground, panting heavily.

Just then, a burly man stepped out from the crowd.

"Manager Wang, you may be afraid of her, but I'm not."

The man's name was Liu Gang, and he wasn't an employee of Shengtang Group. His younger brother was a junior manager who was brought on board as a family member for the team-building activity.

Liu Gang strode over to Wang Qiang and shoved him aside.

"Boss Su, right?" Liu Gang pointed at Su Qingxue's nose. "You're their boss. You can control them, but you can't control me!"

Su Qingxue's face turned ashen: "You dare! You touched her today, and I'll make sure you rot in jail when we get back."

Liu Gang smiled and said, "President Su, I'm not easily intimidated."

"If you dare to utter another word, I'll take you down too. Who knows if the rescue will even find this place, who knows if I'll even survive until the rescue arrives."

"I've never had a relationship with a billionaire CEO in my entire life."

Su Qingxue was rendered speechless by his imposing manner.

She is now on this deserted island and has no real deterrent power.

Seeing that Su Qingxue knew better than to keep quiet, Liu Gang sneered, pressed Song Ya against the rock wall, and reached out to pull off her belt without hesitation.

"No! Let me go! Get away!" Song Ya kicked and punched wildly, tears finally streaming down her face.

Su Qingxue bit her lip and turned her head away. She dared not gamble. If Liu Gang really came, she was not sure how many people would come to help her.

Chen Jian remained standing in the same spot, a cold smile playing on his lips.

The conflict has been shifted, the emotions have been vented, perfect.

Despair completely enveloped Song Ya.

Just as Liu Gang's hand was about to tear off her clothes...

"Let her go."

A voice interrupted him again.

Liu Gang stopped moving.

Wang Qiang shuddered and looked in that direction in disbelief.

He recognized the voice.

Even Chen Jian, whose face was usually calm and composed, froze for a few seconds upon hearing that voice.

Everyone turned their heads in unison to look in the direction of the sound.

The one who spoke was Lin Fan.

He was not missing any limbs, nor did he bear any signs of being torn apart by wild animals; he stood there perfectly unharmed.

"Lin...Lin Fan?!" Wang Qiang pointed at Lin Fan. "You...you didn't die in the forest?!"

They heard those few piercing screams clearly.

That was a primeval jungle overrun by mutated monsters, how could he possibly have survived?

Lin Fan ignored Wang Qiang and looked directly at Song Ya, who was being pressed against the rock wall by Liu Gang, bypassing the crowd.

Lin Fan's eyes narrowed slightly as he looked at Song Ya's torn shirt and the bloodstains at the corner of her mouth.

The moment Song Ya saw Lin Fan, tears welled up uncontrollably.

Half of it was lingering fear, and the other half was relief to see that he was alright.

"Lin Fan... are you alright..."

Liu Gang realized what was happening. Instead of letting go, he grabbed Song Ya by the neck and shielded her in front of him.

"Don't come any closer," Liu Gang said, his neck stiff. "I know you have a knife. If you dare to come up, I'll strangle her right now."
