Survival in the Core: I'm writing a guide for the entire server.

Lin You memorized the list of materials that Elon had mentioned.

He had gold ingots and gels on hand.

The only missing items are a complete ruby and the altar of the gods.

Do you know where there's an altar around here?

Lin You looked at the dwarf.

"I'm sorry, my friend."

Elon shook his head helplessly.

"The areas above the 10th layer of the Earth's core change every so often."

"So I know nothing about the environment here."

"Okay... I'll find it myself then."

Lin You nodded and reached out to touch the Explorer's Compass at his waist.

The compass can still be used 8 times, although he originally intended to use it at a deeper level.

But right now, completing the advanced tasks as soon as possible is the most important thing.

[Use the active effect of "Explorer's Compass"?]

"Yes."

Lin You whispered.

[A special location has been marked on the minimap!]

[Dilapidated Mine: 4.5 km away]

"Tsk..."

Lin You glanced at the markings on the minimap and was somewhat disappointed.

However, we shouldn't waste any compass attempts.

He immediately started the Gold Miner and began digging towards the dilapidated mine.

The drill bit cuts through the rock strata, and the automatic collection device keeps popping up prompts.

Obtain 5 iron ore

Obtain 3 copper ore

Obtain 2 silver ore

The yield of ordinary minerals in the sixth layer of the Earth's core is indeed much higher than that in the fifth layer.

You can find plenty of iron ore and silver ore with just a little digging.

On the other side, Elon, having nothing else to do, was also examining Lin You's minecart.

"They actually used the precious space on the mine cart to grow flowers."

When the dwarf saw the potted fluorescent tulips that took up half the carriage, he subconsciously complained.

"If it were me, this place would definitely be used to house more furnaces."

"snort!"

A rather disgruntled snort came from the side.

Vivian flew over, as if defending her territory, and blocked Elon's path.

"Too bad this isn't your mine cart; your owner wouldn't be so tasteless!"

"What do you know, little one... Huh?"

Elon retorted, but his eyes widened when he saw Vivian's appearance clearly.

"You're a flower fairy?!"

"What's wrong? What happened?"

Hearing the commotion, Lin You rushed over from the control room.

Elon stared at Vivian for several seconds, then turned to look at Lin You.

"You actually managed to gain the friendship of a flower fairy? Human, do you know what that means?"

Upon hearing this, Lin You raised an eyebrow in confusion.

"What does that mean?"

"Flower fairies are a reclusive race from the inner world of the earth, and they rarely appear in the public eye."

Elon slapped his thigh with his thick, calloused hand, his voice trembling with excitement.

"Legend has it that they are natural incarnations similar to 'tree spirits,' possessing powerful life force."

"In all my years, this is the first time I've ever seen a living flower fairy."

Vivian was a little shy from the compliment and hid behind Lin You's hair, only showing half of her face.

"I'm not that good yet..."

Seeing the surprise on the dwarf's face, Lin You simply smiled and didn't reply.

It was somewhat of a coincidence that he gained Vivian's following.

[The Gold Miner has arrived at its destination: an abandoned mine.]

"We've arrived at the station. I'll go check what's going on."

"I'll go too."

Lin You glanced at the dwarf's injuries and shook his head slightly.

"Just rest and recover in the car. There shouldn't be any formidable enemies here."

Just as he predicted, the abandoned mine contained only a few weak kobold miners and kobold overseers.

These two monsters were strengthened to some extent in the sixth level of the Earth's core.

They were slightly stronger than their kind in the "Dark Mine," but only to a limited extent, and were quickly wiped out by Lin You.

"It really is a genuine mine; the loot is almost entirely just ore..."

Lin You glanced at the cart piled high with ore and reached in to rummage through it.

Then select a few unique dark purple minerals.

……

【Magic Ore】

Grade: 10 (Green)

[Note: This is a mineral containing trace amounts of magic, possessing natural magical adaptability.]

[Additional Information: You have obtained the crafting recipes for "Magic Forge" and "Advanced Workbench"]

……

"This is the Demon Mine?!"

Lin You's eyes lit up as two new recipes popped up before her.

……

[Magic Forge: Metal Forge x1, Magic Ore x10, Requires Anvil]

[Advanced Workbench: Basic Workbench x1, Glass x10, Wooden Planks x5, Magic Ore x10, Requires Sawmill Wood]

……

"Good heavens, these are all treasures."

Lin You glanced at the formula's consumption.

Although it requires a lot of materials, he can afford it with his current inventory.

The Magic Furnace is more efficient at smelting and can produce fine steel, gold ingots, and magic powder.

Advanced workbenches can process and synthesize gems and create magic runes.

Once these two facilities are completed, Lin You's production capacity will undergo a qualitative change!

"Transport all these ores back."

Lin You summoned several newly recruited kobold miners to work as laborers.

They gradually transported all the ore piled up in the abandoned mine shafts back to the Gold Miner.

……

You have obtained 241 piece of "Copper Ore".

You have obtained 155 pieces of "Iron Ore".

You have obtained 50 "Magic Ore"

You have obtained 33 "Gold Ore"

……

"That's enough for now."

Lin You nodded in satisfaction and was about to begin making the magic furnace.

A notification message suddenly popped up.

Player "Qi Chuan" has gifted you 50 "Pure Water" items.

[Inter-level transaction fees have been waived (Effect of the "Earth's Core Pioneer" title)]

Lin You raised an eyebrow and opened her friends list.

[Lin You: Why are you suddenly sending so much water?]

[Qi Chuan: Hehe, boss, I'm still at that underground river!]

[Qi Chuan: After you helped me clean up the piranhas last time, I temporarily set up camp there.]

Qi Chuan: I've earned over a hundred silver coins just from selling water during this period!

Lin You looked at the message on the screen and nodded slightly.

Qi Chuan is quick-witted and knows how to seize opportunities, which is a good thing.

[Lin You: I'll accept the water. Remember to arm yourself after you've saved enough money.]

[Lin You: The majority of players will eventually leave levels 1 and 2. Take advantage of this time to earn as much starting capital as possible, so you don't get stuck on the lower levels.]

Qi Chuan: Understood! Don't worry, boss, I know what I'm doing! I'll go down to the lower level once I've saved enough money!

Lin You closed the chat window, put the purified water into the warehouse, and turned to walk towards the anvil.

The Magic Furnace will take some time to make, so I'll use this time to make the Advanced Workbench first.

He placed the materials one by one onto the worktable to confirm the production.

[Currently creating the "Magic Forge"... Time remaining: 45 minutes]

[Currently working on "Advanced Workbench"... Time remaining: 60 minutes]

While waiting, Lin You activated the compass again.

The compass has only 7 uses left, each one precious.

"I wonder where it will be located this time."

Lin You took a deep breath and waited for the answer.

[A special location has been marked on the minimap!]

[Lost Elemental Altar: 3.2 km away]

altar!

Lin You keenly caught the keyword and was overjoyed.

The Slime Crown, the advancement quest... there's hope for everything!
