Survival in the Core: I'm writing a guide for the entire server.

"stop."

Lin You almost instinctively pulled back her foot that was about to land, freezing in place.

"No wonder this space looks so peaceful; the dangers are all hidden underground."

Lin You gasped, and carefully took a few steps back to the side of the mine cart.

Within the field of vision, there are at least three dangerous outlines representing "earth worms".

Based on additional information observed, the earthworm hunts by relying on vibrations transmitted underground.

This means that as long as he walks on the ground, he will be targeted by these lurking individuals.

If it weren't for the warning from the Eye of Insight, he probably would have already fallen victim to it.

"We need to test the waters first."

Lin You summoned a kobold miner from the Magic Card Encyclopedia.

A pale blue light flashed, and the kobold appeared before him, gripping a pickaxe and tilting its head, awaiting orders.

"Keep going forward until you reach the vicinity of that iron ore vein."

Lin You pointed to a dark red ore pile about thirty meters ahead.

Without the slightest hesitation, the kobold miner strode toward his target.

One step, two steps, three steps.

The footsteps of the kobolds echoed through the empty underground space.

Although not loud, it was exceptionally clear in the quiet environment.

When they had walked about halfway, the light in Lin You's eyes suddenly flashed intensely.

The red outline underground suddenly accelerated!

"boom--!!"

As the soil churned, a giant worm-like creature burst forth from the earth!

Its size far exceeded Lin You's imagination—it was at least two meters long and as thick as an adult's waist.

What's terrifying is its mouthparts, which are ring-shaped.

The inner ring is covered with dense barbs, like a high-speed rotating meat grinder.

Before the kobold miner could react, he was hit head-on by the earthworm's charge!

"Bang!"

The kobold's body was sent flying like a rag doll.

It tumbled several times in the air before crashing heavily to the ground.

Its health points dropped by more than half instantly, leaving it with less than a third.

The earthworm gave it no chance to catch its breath.

The enormous worm's body twisted inexplicably in mid-air.

It turned its head towards the fallen dog-headed man, opened its ring-shaped mouthparts, and pounced on it!

"return!"

With a thought, Lin You retrieved the heavily injured kobold into a magic card.

A pale blue light flashed, and the kobold's body turned into specks of light and vanished.

It successfully escaped just a second before the earthworm's fangs were about to touch it.

The earthworm missed its target, and its ring-shaped mouthparts snapped shut, making a teeth-grinding "click" sound.

It seemed to sense something, and slowly turned its head towards Lin You's direction.

Lin You remained calm, activating his intermediate-level Eye of Insight to carefully observe the information about the earthworm.

……

Earthworm

[Level: 2]

【Life: 30/30】

[Skills: Underground stealth, charge and bite]

[Weakness: Any sound will attract its attention, but this also means it can be tricked into missing its attack. Furthermore, the earthworm moves slowly after leaving the ground, making it the best time to attack.]

[Note: Common cave-dwelling creatures in the inner world, they rely on vibrations to sense prey. Although individually weak, they often hunt in groups.]

……

"The attributes aren't high, but the stealth is excellent."

After reading the message, Lin You felt much more at ease.

With only 30 health points and no defense, it's even squishier than the Kobold Miner!

As long as you seize the moment it leaves the ground, you can easily solve the problem.

"Flame Spirit, can you go?"

Lin You looked down at the kitten in her arms.

Flame Spirit was still fast asleep, the flames on its tail flickering weakly, clearly indicating that its magic had not yet recovered.

"Never mind, you should continue to rest."

Lin You gently placed Yan Ling on the minecart seat.

He gripped the bronze sword tightly and faced the earthworm once more.

The earthworm's body was pressed tightly against the ground, seemingly searching for the source of the sound.

Lin You took a stone out of her backpack and threw it forcefully to the left.

"Clatter".

The sound of the stone hitting the ground was crisp and short.

The earthworm's head suddenly turned towards the direction from which the sound came.

Its body was completely pulled out of the soil, and it lunged in that direction!

It's now!

Lin You rushed out from the side, raising his bronze sword high and aiming at the exposed abdomen of the earthworm.

"drink!"

The sword blade sliced through the air and slashed down fiercely!

-18!

The earthworm let out a sharp hiss and its body twisted violently.

As expected, its movements became sluggish after its body left the ground, and it had no time to turn around.

Lin You did not greedily strike; after landing a successful blow, he immediately retreated to create distance.

The earthworm struggled for a few seconds before finally turning its body around, its head facing Lin You.

Lin You took out another stone and threw it to the right.

"Clatter".

The earthworm was attracted by the sound again and swooped to its right.

Lin You charged out from the left, unleashing another sword strike!

-16!

The earthworm's health was depleted, and it let out a mournful roar before collapsing to the ground.

"Oh no!"

Hearing the sound the earthworm made before it died, Lin You frowned and looked at the mini-map.

Sure enough, the other two red dots on the map were moving rapidly in his direction.

"We need to finish this quickly."

Lin You glanced at the kill notification.

You have killed 1 "Earth Worms"!

[Experience points +30! Current stats: 380/500]

He quickly crouched down and turned the earthworm's corpse into a magic card.

[Card crafting successful! You have obtained "Magic Card: Earth Worm" x1!]

[Consumes 20 mana points, current mana: 500/520]

……

……

"It adds to the constitution attribute, not bad."

Lin You put the magic card into the encyclopedia and glanced at the mini-map.

The other two earthworms were rapidly approaching, less than ten meters away from him.

"You've come at the perfect time."

He stepped back to the mine cart, picked up a stone, and threw it forcefully to the left.

"Clatter".

A ground worm sprang from the ground and rushed toward the source of the sound.

Lin You ignored it, picked up another stone, and threw it to the right.

"Clatter".

The second earthworm was also lured out and pounced to the right.

Both earthworms were exposed on the ground. Lin You gripped his bronze sword and charged toward the nearest one.

Having learned from his first experience, he handled the situation with greater ease.

Lure with stones, launch a surprise attack from the side, and escape in one strike.

In less than five minutes, both ground worms collapsed.

You have killed 2 "Earth Worms"!

[Experience points +60! Current stats: 440/500]

You have obtained 4 "Earth Worm Meat"!

You have obtained 2 "Earth Worm Slime"!

You have obtained 2 "Earth Worm Fangs"!

[Card crafting successful! You have obtained "Magic Card: Earth Worm" x2!]

Lin You wiped away her sweat and counted her spoils.

6 parts earthworm meat, 3 parts earthworm mucus, and 2 parts earthworm fangs.

The earthworm's sharp teeth are of a higher grade than the earthworm's meat, and they have a dark metallic sheen.

……

【Earth Worm's Sharp Teeth】

Grade: 2 (Green)

[Note: The sharpest teeth among the mouthparts of the earthworm are hard and can be used to make weapons or tools.]

[Additional Information: You have unlocked the crafting recipe for "Groundworm Dagger (Blue)"]

[Earthworm Dagger: Earthworm Fang x2, Copper Ingot x1, Rag x1, Requires Anvil]

……

"A blue-quality dagger? Not bad."

Lin You packed all the materials into his backpack and glanced at this subterranean space.

The earthworms had all been cleared away, leaving only a pile of open-air mining sites for him to excavate.

Since there was no need to race against time, Lin You decided to dig it himself.

After all, he has the bonus from the Gold Miner's Ring.

Both in terms of efficiency and profit, it's much better than letting the kobolds dig.

"Once we're done digging, we'll make the Summoning Lantern and then farm monsters here."

Lin You sat down next to the minecart, took out roasted mushrooms and water from her backpack to replenish her energy.

Just then, a bright red system announcement suddenly appeared in front of all the players.

[Game Announcement: Player "Roger" has successfully dug to the end of the Earth's core and discovered the entrance to the "Second Core"]

As the first player to reach the second level of the Earth's core, "Roger" received the following rewards:
