Playing the Eighth Route Army, the system is forcing this on me?

Outside the dressing room.

As soon as Mr. Yang Xinming arrived on set, the entire crew stirred up a commotion.

As Xiao Liu from the props team was carrying a box of fake blood packs inside, he saw the black van stop in the distance, slipped, and almost dropped the box.

"Holy crap, it's here!"

"Who's here?"

"Who else could it be? Teacher Yang!"

"Huh? Where's the knife? Was it hidden properly?"

"Hiding it my foot! He took the RV back himself last night!"

"Damn it, someone's going to get hacked down again today."

The stagehands spoke in hushed tones, their eyes glancing towards the car door.

Yang Xinming got out of the car.

The old man was over sixty years old, but his posture was very straight. He was wearing an old cloth jacket, as if he hadn't slept well all night.

He was actually carrying a prop machete in his hand.

Although it's a prop knife.

But somehow, when he held the knife in his hand, it seemed just like the real thing.

It looks so real!

The assistant director went to greet them from afar, his face stiff with a forced smile.

"Good morning, Teacher Yang."

Yang Xinming glanced at him.

Where are they?

The assistant director was taken aback.

"Who?"

Yang Xinming slung the knife over his shoulder.

"devil."

The assistant director's lips twitched.

"Teacher Yi is putting on makeup and will be here shortly."

Yang Xinming snorted.

"I hope it really comes."

"Don't be like the previous ones, all talk and no action, but your legs go weak when you stand in front of me."

Several staff members nearby heard this, but none of them dared to respond.

Because this is no exaggeration.

For the past two weeks, the production team hasn't cast a second male lead. In order to keep Old Master Mo from getting too crazy, Yang Xinming has been asking people to audition for roles every day as soon as he arrives on set.

At first, everyone felt honored.

A national first-class actor will guide you through the scene.

How rare is that?

On the first day, one of the middle-aged actors playing a villager was chased so much that he lost his shoes.

The next day, an assistant director was so frightened that he fell straight into the prop box.

On the third day, the head of the lighting crew was cornered by the old man and almost peed his pants in fear.

From then on, whenever the crew saw Yang Xinming carrying a knife, their first reaction was to hide.

Someone muttered to themselves.

"If we don't film this scene soon, I feel like I'm going crazy."

"Who can argue with that? Teacher Yang gets so into character that we suffer along with her."

"Finally, we have Japanese devils today!"

"But I'm afraid this Japanese soldier won't be able to hold out."

While things were in chaos here, a minivan was parked on the outskirts.

Li Sisi pushed open the car door and got out. Her hair hadn't even been properly styled yet, and she rushed inside with a microphone in hand.

"Quick, quick, get the camera on!"

The photographer, carrying his equipment, yawned.

"Sis, it's only a little past six o'clock, is anyone watching the live stream?"

Li Sisi glared at him.

"What do you know? Today is Yi Zheng's first scene, against Yang Xinming!"

The live stream is now open.

Because it was so early, there were only a few hundred people at the beginning.

The comments were sparse.

"So early?"

"Sister Sisi is really working hard."

What are we filming today?

"I heard that the extra who's playing the second male lead is going to join the cast?"

"His first match is against Yang Xinming? Really?"

Li Sisi lowered her voice.

"Good morning, everyone. We've arrived at the set of 'Enjoy Your Leisure'. Today is special because Yi Zheng, the newcomer who became a sensation yesterday, will be filming his first scene since joining the crew."

She paused for a moment, her tone becoming noticeably excited.

"And his opponent today is Teacher Yang Xinming!"

The number of comments immediately increased.

"Holy crap, Yang Xinming?"

"That's it, Yizheng will be crushed to death!"

"Yesterday's audition was impressive, but Yang Xinming is no ordinary person."

"The newcomer is going up against such a big shot in his first game, Director Kong is really ruthless."

Li Sisi looked up and saw Yang Xinming walking towards her with a knife in his hand.

Her eyes lit up, and she immediately went to greet them.

"Hello, Professor Yang, may I briefly interview you?"

Yang Xinming stopped and looked at the camera.

He was clearly not interested in the live stream, but since the other party was Li Sisi, he was very respectful.

"certainly."

Li Sisi handed the microphone closer.

"Teacher Yang, you'll be filming your first scene with Teacher Yi Zheng today. Did you watch his audition video yesterday?"

Yang Xinming switched the knife to his other hand, his tone indifferent.

"I took a look."

Li Sisi pressed further, "What do you think?"

Yang Xinming thought for a moment.

"That's interesting."

As soon as those four words were uttered, the chat room became lively.

"It's not easy to get Old Yang to find something interesting about it."

"That's a good review."

"Old Yang rarely praises people."

Li Sisi continued, "So, what are your expectations for today's scene?"

Yang Xinming glanced at the knife in his hand and snorted coldly.

"Heh, it's just acting. I'm not afraid of him acting well."

"I'm afraid he won't be able to handle it."

The live stream chat exploded with comments.

"That's so true."

"Old Yang isn't faking it; he really can overwhelm people."

"Newcomers to this situation can only hope for the best."

Li Sisi then asked, "Are you worried that Teacher Yi Zheng might be under too much pressure on his first day on set?"

Yang Xinming smiled.

That smile was a little cold, and a little helpless.

"It's normal to be under a lot of pressure."

"I was afraid when I was young too."

"But we actors make a living this way, don't you think?"

That's a straightforward statement.

But no one thought it was excessive.

Because he is Yang Xinming, he has the right to say that.

He was really going crazy from being cooped up for the past two weeks.

I immerse myself in the role every day, and I can barely eat a few bites of food.

We're just waiting for the actor for Okawara to be confirmed.

Li Sisi felt a heat rising in her back as she listened.

She immediately looked at the camera.

"As everyone has heard, Teacher Yang has very high standards for this scene. We'll have to wait and see if Teacher Yi Zheng can handle it."

The number of viewers in the live stream started to rise.

one thousand.

Three thousand.

Eight thousand.

Many people who saw the audition video last night were drawn in by the title.

"Has filming started?"

"I came here specifically to see the reincarnation of that colonel."

"With Yang Lao and Yi Zheng combined, wouldn't this cause an explosion?"

"Don't exaggerate too much. Auditions and actual filming are not the same thing."

"It's hard to say whether a newcomer can even perform the stage moves properly."

At that moment, the voice of the field manager came through the walkie-talkie.

"Attention all departments, scene one: chase scene in the back mountain, prepare."

The scene immediately sprang into action.

"The photography crew is in position!"

"The sound pickup is excellent!"

"The lights are ready here!"

"Wait for the director's command, smoke bombs!"

"Actors, please proceed to the waiting area!"

The loudspeaker then blared.

"Attention all departments, prepare for filming our first scene today!"
