The buff is permanent, and you start the game with a fountain of water.

The Golden Earth Dragon Crocodile, having just unleashed its dragon might and opened its mouth wide, was forced into a state of rigidity. At this moment, it resembled a fledgling bird waiting to be fed, with a ball of flesh the size of a basketball hanging above its throat.

Huan Cheng immediately realized that this was the life gland.

Seeing such a golden opportunity, he didn't bother to ponder why the Abyss Judgment could still deliver a critical hit. He decisively abandoned his retreat and charged forward with all his might.

Upon approaching the Golden Earth Dragon Crocodile, Huan Cheng immediately unleashed the Wind Slash, simultaneously using Azure Sun's Wrath during the charge to maximize his attack!

With the blessing of the blazing sun, the blazing sun greatsword flashed with a crimson light, and like a raging flame, it slashed three times in succession at the life gland.

With its vital glands attacked, the Golden Earth Dragon Crocodile's eyes flashed with fear, and its face showed an expression of heart-wrenching pain.

However, no matter how much the Golden Earth Dragon Crocodile struggled, it could not escape the forced stiffness of the Abyss Judgment and could only open its mouth to let Huan Cheng attack it.

"Heavy blow!"

"Blazing Sun Slash!"

Huan Cheng concentrated all his energy and spirit, seizing this precious moment of vulnerability, and unleashed a super high level of skill, striking four swords in one second, with his sword flashing like a red light!

"Aww!"

After taking more than a dozen hits, the Golden Earth Dragon Crocodile finally broke free from the forced stiffness and regained its freedom, choosing to shut up immediately!

If you don't shut up, this life gland is going to explode!

"Heavy blow!"

Huan Cheng seized the opportunity and, the instant the Golden Earth Dragon Crocodile closed its mouth, stabbed the Life Gland with the Blazing Sun Heavy Sword.

As the heavy sword pierced the gland, the golden earth dragon crocodile's gaping maw also closed. Huan Cheng attacked too fiercely and had no time to retract his sword. He could only subconsciously let go and watch helplessly as the blazing sun heavy sword fell into the earth dragon crocodile's mouth.

Seeing this, Huan Cheng was dumbfounded.

Without the Blazing Sun Greatsword, his physical attack dropped drastically from 4092 to 2942. His already insufficient damage output made it even more difficult for him to break through enemy defenses!

After being brutally beaten by Huan Cheng, the Golden Earth Dragon Crocodile's hatred for him was no less than that for the "Egg-Exploding Wild Boar King" he encountered in the newbie village.

The Golden Earth Dragon Crocodile let out a low roar, its scales standing on end, and a violent energy spread wildly outwards from its center.

In those precious few seconds, Huan Cheng's life had been completely restored through endless regeneration, so he was no longer afraid of the golden earth dragon crocodile's scales exploding.

In his haste, Huan Cheng could only find a bronze-grade longsword from the Ring of Greed as a substitute.

This was dropped while farming bronze-level kills. I hadn't had a chance to give it to Half a Cup of Gentleness yet, but it temporarily solved my immediate problem.

With the bronze longsword, Huan Cheng's attack power was restored to 3,300, avoiding the embarrassment of not being able to break through the defense.

Since we can't escape now, let's just fight. At worst, we can unleash the Abyss Descent and give the Golden Earth Dragon Crocodile a shot at it.

Losing 10 levels in exchange for a gold first kill, it's not a bad deal!

Having made up his mind, Huan Cheng gave a light shout and delivered a heavy blow to the side scales of the Golden Earth Dragon Crocodile.

With a crisp "ding," the damage number 2680 floated above the Earth Dragon Crocodile's head.

"Um?"

Huan Cheng was stunned.

This injury is unusual; it's much higher than expected.

With the heavy attack buff, Huan Cheng's damage was 5103. The Golden Earth Dragon Crocodile's original defense was 3040, but the Abyss Judgment reduced all attributes by 20%, leaving its defense at 2416.

Dragonscale Armor grants 30% immunity to physical damage, so theoretically the actual damage should be just over a thousand.

With a quick thought, Huan Cheng realized that the passive effect of the Golden Earth Dragon Crocodile Scale Armor didn't seem to be working.

If I casually slash again, without any skill bonuses, the damage will only be a little over 800 points.

If the physical damage reduction effect of the Dragon Scale Armor is still active, Huan Cheng's normal attack should not have broken through the defense.

After two more tests, Huan Cheng finally confirmed that, for some unknown reason, the Dragon Scale Armor had indeed failed!

This was undoubtedly good news for Huan Cheng.

Huan Cheng dodged and weaved, avoiding the Golden Earth Dragon Crocodile's counterattack, and used his Eye of Insight to check its condition again.

Apart from the attack on the life glands and the suppression of bloodline self-healing, there were no other abnormalities.

"The golden earth dragon crocodile seems normal, so the problem lies with me?"

While dealing with the attacks of the golden earth dragon crocodile, he pondered the root of the problem.

In a flash, Huan Cheng thought of the power of the Abyss.

He could recite the attribute descriptions of the Abyss Power by heart without even opening the system panel.

[Power of the Abyss]: A special passive skill with no level requirement. A terrifying power born from the very source of the Abyss, possessing supreme authority, ignoring grade and rank, unaffected by any counters, and immune to all forms of reflected damage. There is a 20% chance to trigger absolute true damage that ignores defense when the skill is used.

"Supreme authority? Unrestricted?"

As if struck by a sudden enlightenment, Huan Cheng instantly understood the true meaning of the description of the power of the Abyss.

According to the system's judgment, physical damage reduction is considered a counter to physical classes. The Abyss Power activates the "unaffected by any counter" effect, directly rendering the Golden Earth Dragon Crocodile's Dragon Scale Armor skill useless!

"this……"

Even though he was a beneficiary himself, once he understood the intricacies, Huan Cheng still felt that the power of the Abyss was a bit too domineering.

You restrain me?

Fine, I now declare your restraint invalid.

This is absolutely outrageous!

In an instant, Huan Cheng thought of many things.

Since damage immunity is considered a form of counter, does invincibility also fall under the category of counter? Are special states such as immunity to knockback, immunity to critical hits, and immunity to instant death also considered counters?

Furthermore, both the Abyss Power and the Abyss Body contain phrases such as "highest authority, ignoring grade and rank." The Abyss Body is immune to a whole host of negative statuses, while the Abyss Power is unrestrained by anything. If the two were to clash, who would be in charge?

All sorts of random thoughts flooded his mind, but the Golden Earth Dragon Crocodile wouldn't tolerate his battlefield daze. Its massive tail swept across and smashed down on Huan Cheng.

Having been completely smashed, Huan Cheng came to his senses, forcibly banishing all sorts of thoughts from his mind, and stared intently at the golden earth dragon crocodile.

Having sacrificed the Blazing Sun Greatsword and lost its life recovery ability, and then relied on the power of the Abyss to break through physical immunity, the Golden Earth Dragon Crocodile was no longer an invincible enemy in Huan Cheng's eyes.

He's going to get the first kill in Gold today!

Under the devastating Abyss Judgment, the Golden Earth Dragon Crocodile's damage plummeted to 4,400. Even the Dragon Breath Turbid Stream, which had the highest single-target damage, only dealt less than 15,000 damage to Huan Cheng.

As long as Huan Cheng isn't foolish enough to withstand the dragon's breath and then get right in front of other attack skills, he'll most likely survive.

After many days of training, Huan Cheng's fighting ability has improved significantly. He is no longer the reckless man who relied on recovery to fight his way through.

He learned to anticipate, to dodge, to parry, and to avoid the enemy's strength and attack their weaknesses. The Golden Earth Dragon Crocodile's idea of taking him down in one go was pure wishful thinking.

Soon, the battle entered what Huan Cheng was familiar with as "garbage time."

More than an hour later, the rocks around Luolongtan were ravaged beyond recognition, and Huan Cheng finally heard the long-awaited system notification.

"Ding! You have defeated the level 30 Gold BOSS [Golden Earth Dragon Crocodile]. You have gained 3640000 experience points and 200 reputation points."
