"Officer Ada, thank you again for your help. You can come to my house sometime," Chen An said with a smile.

"No need, but the Kree family might still try to harm you, so be careful lately," Ada waved her hand and then reminded them.

"We'll be careful," Chen An nodded.

"By the way, your sister has been found. Aren't you planning to go back to China?" Ada asked again.

"I don't plan to go back for the time being. Firstly, there are some things about my sister that haven't been resolved, and secondly, I found a job here and I'm thinking of giving it a try."

Hearing this answer, Ada nodded slightly. She was used to this kind of thing; many people wanted to stay in America to develop their careers, and it wasn't her business.

"Alright, thank you for your hospitality today."

As Ida was about to get up and leave, the phone suddenly rang, and she picked it up.

"Uncle Brandon, is there something you need?"

"Do you know where Chen An is?" Brandon asked anxiously.

Upon hearing this, Ada looked at Chen An across from her and asked with a puzzled expression, "Uncle Brandon, he's been right next to me the whole time."

"You said he was right next to you after he came out of the police station?" Brandon asked again.

"Yes, he said he wanted to thank me and treated me to dinner. We met at a restaurant near the police station. What happened to Uncle Brandon?"

Judging from Brandon's tone, she sensed that something serious had happened.

There was a moment of silence on the other end of the phone before a voice came through: "Moshe Raka was shot multiple times and died in his home. The methods were brutal, and some valuables are gone too."

Ada was stunned when she heard the news.

Moshe Raka, who was meeting with them just an hour ago, is dead. In such a short time, she also understood why Uncle Brandon's first question was about where Chen An was.

They clearly considered Chen An a suspect, but the other party had been with him from the beginning and had never called or left during that time.

"Which restaurant are you at?" Brandon asked again.

"It's the one across from the police station."

"Okay, wait there for a moment, I'll be right there." Brandon hung up the phone after saying that.

Chen An had been observing Ada's changing expressions and knew that she had already learned of Moshe Raka's death, so he pretended to be puzzled and asked.

"Officer Ada, is there something urgent? If it is, you don't have to wait for us here."

After hearing this, Ida said calmly, "Chen An, Uncle Brandon just called and said that Moshe Raka is dead."

Upon hearing this, a hint of surprise flashed across the faces of the four people.

Chen Wan murmured, "Officer Ada, you're not kidding, are you? We just had an unpleasant encounter with that Officer Moshe Laka, and we haven't even filed a complaint against him yet."

He naturally guessed that it was his brother who did it, but he didn't know how his brother did it, since his brother hadn't made a phone call.

Just then, the restaurant door was pushed open, and Brandon led several police officers inside. He quickly spotted Ada and her group after scanning the area, and then strode over.

Brandon looked at Chen An with wariness and hostility in his eyes.

"Uncle Brandon," Ida began.

"Hmm." Brandon nodded slightly, then looked at Chen An. "Mr. Chen An, are you aware that Moshe Raka is dead?"

Chen An nodded. "I know, Ada just told me."

"Is this related to you?" Brandon asked directly.

Upon hearing this, Chen An shook his head repeatedly. "Chief Brandon, I'm just an ordinary person. How could I have the guts to kill Officer Moses Raka? Besides, I've been with Officer Ada the whole time and haven't gone anywhere else."

"Mr. Chen An, we are very sorry, but we cannot believe your one-sided story. Could you come back with us for questioning? It won't take up too much of your time."

Brandon said.

Seeing this, Chen An nodded.

The group then headed back to the Rom Police Station. Inside the lobby, Chen An gave a wry smile. "Officer Ada, I'm so unlucky. I have to come to the police station twice in one day."

"It's alright, Chen An. As long as it wasn't you who did it, you'll be able to leave soon."

This time, he wasn't roughly locked in an interrogation room, but instead sat on a chair in the lobby, waiting for Brandon's investigation.

A few minutes later, Brandon came over again and said, "Mr. Chen An, you and your men can leave now. I apologize for taking up your time."

Chen An stood up and waved his hand, "It's nothing, it's understandable."

"Officer Ada, we'll be going now."

Ada nodded and said, "Okay."

After Chen An and the other three left, Ada asked, "Uncle Brandon, are Chen An and the others alright?"

Brandon shook his head. "There shouldn't be any problem. I checked the surveillance footage. From the moment they left the police station, none of the four of them left, nor did they make any phone calls. It's impossible for them to have relayed orders to deal with Moshe Laka."

"And just now we received new information that Moshe Laka was most likely killed by a burglar. It could just be a coincidence."

"I think so too, after all, Chen An has been with me the whole time," Ada said.

........

On the way to the Ralph neighborhood, Emily was driving in a Toyota Tacoma, with Carl in the passenger seat.

Chen Wan sat quietly, and no one mentioned Moshe Laka; they understood each other implicitly.

They arrived at house number 7 in no time and the four of them got out of the car.

"Sister, you and Emily go back first, Carl, come with me." Chen An said as he walked towards residence number 6.

"Yes, boss."

Before long, they arrived at the backyard of house number 6.

Carl looked at the piles of goods around him with a surprised expression: "Boss, where did you get all this stuff?!"

"I plan to sell the items I stole from the Kree family. Most of them are fakes; only the jewels in the corner are genuine."

"Do you have a seller? If not, I've had Hank contact them."

Upon hearing this, Carl's lips moved as if he was about to speak, but Chen An suddenly interrupted, "You're not going to say your girlfriend is a jeweler again, are you?"

Upon hearing this, Karl shook his head. "It's not that we're the boss. It's just that these counterfeit goods are bought as if they were real. It requires a lot of manpower, so they're hard to buy. It's best to sell them to others all at once."

"As for jewelry, it's even more tricky. Without distribution channels, you can't get anywhere, and the price will be slashed very low."

"Buyers aren't stupid."

Hearing Carl say this, Chen An continued, "So, you're saying you have no other choice?"

"I can't, but there's someone who can," Carl said.

"Who?"

"My old friend Black Wolf!" Carl said.

Chen An's expression shifted. "Black Wolf, wasn't he an arms dealer? He's switched to being a jeweler?!"

"No, he has connections, including many jewelers. Talking to him might solve the problem."
