"Alright, this time you'll bring your own money. I won't lend you any more until you pay me back," Black Wolf said.

"See you later."

The call was then disconnected.

"Brother, what kind of equipment are you going to buy?" Chen Wan asked with a puzzled look.

Upon hearing this, Chen An pulled out a Glock 17 pistol from his pocket. "This is the equipment. How can we be here without a gun?"

Of course, he obtained this from the assassins via long-distance transport. After all, he hadn't carried the gun with him when facing Ada, to avoid any unnecessary misunderstandings.

"Brother, when did you learn to use a gun?"

Chen An said, "I just learned it recently. I'll teach you once you've recovered. You can't do without this here."

"Okay." Chen Wan nodded, her eyes filled with unprecedented determination. She also wanted to become stronger and didn't want to be a burden to her brother.

"By the way, brother, so you're not planning to go back?"

Chen An's expression shifted; he naturally knew where his sister meant to go back. After thinking for a moment, he shook his head. "We won't be going back for now. What, do you want to go back?"

Chen Wan said, "I don't want to. Wherever my brother is, I'll be there too."

"Alright, from now on, America will be the place where my brother and I rise to power!"

Listening to her brother's impassioned speech, she wondered what had happened to him during her disappearance, that he not only had the means to kill Creel but also managed to acquire a gun.

Time passed slowly, and the next day arrived in the blink of an eye.

Chen An woke up from the recliner next to the hospital bed, looked at Chen Wan who was still fast asleep, picked up his phone and checked the time: eight o'clock.

Anton stood at the door of the ward, on high alert, while Emily went to buy breakfast.

Carl then returned to the Graffiti Building to rest.

Due to Chen Wan's special circumstances, the police arranged a single room for her, so they stayed there. Although it was expensive, at least no one bothered them.

Soon, Emily returned with breakfast and woke Chen Wan up to eat together. Then she slowly got up and said, "Sister, Emily will protect you. I need to leave for a while."

"Okay, go ahead."

Upon hearing this, Chen An led An Dong out of the ward, to the hospital, and into a pickup truck to head to the Graffiti Building.

The two arrived a dozen minutes later.

He said it directly to himself.

"System, deploy today's nine assassins."

[Ding! Deployment complete. Nine assassins are on their way.]

Seeing this, Chen An immediately ordered them to go to the San Pedro Wharf to report to An Xing. He then counted that there were already as many as seventy assassins!

"Good morning, boss." Carl walked out of the graffiti building.

"morning."

Carl then got into the car, and Anton started the vehicle and slowly drove out of Los Angeles. Soon they arrived at the checkpoint on the east side of Los Angeles.

There were more than a dozen police cars parked here, and the police were checking each passing vehicle one by one, clearly not giving up on the pursuit.

However, Chen An was not worried at all and slowed down to wait for the police officers to check the vehicle.

It wasn't long before it was their turn.

"Gentlemen, please show your identification."

Upon hearing this, Chen An and the others got out of the car and took out their identification documents. The two police officers checked the documents of the group and, after confirming that there were no problems, began to ask questions as usual.

Where are you headed after leaving Los Angeles?

Chen An replied, "We're going to Orange County, which isn't far away, to meet up with my friend. We haven't seen each other for a while, and to be honest, it's a rare vacation, so I'm going to see him."

"Understood. So when do you plan to come back?"

"Yes, I'll probably be back sometime today."

"Okay, then have a pleasant journey." The officer said, handing the documents back to Chen An and walking towards the next car.

Seeing this, the three got into the car and drove out of Los Angeles.

The vehicles gradually drove onto the highway.

"Karl, where is the place Black Wolf and I agreed to meet?"

In response to Chen An's question, Karl said, "It's a bit far. Black Wolf is a very cautious person, and the place is remote. It might take a while to drive there."

"Okay, as long as we can get there."

"By the way, boss, what do you want to buy this time?"

Hearing Karl's question, Chen An smiled slightly, "We need to replenish bullets and grenades. Next, we need the accessories and tactical helmets that I coveted last time. It would be even better if we had rocket launchers."

Carl's pupils widened, and he said in a shocked tone, "Boss, how are we going to get all this stuff to Los Angeles? We'll probably be stopped as soon as we get close to the checkpoint!"

Chen An said, "I have a way to do this, so don't worry. I guarantee it can be safely transported into Los Angeles."

Upon hearing this, Carl stopped asking questions. He knew his boss would naturally have a way, and if he said so, he would definitely be able to do it.

An hour later.

Following Carl's directions, the vehicle drove to a small town. The environment was quite nice, but there were few people, and it lacked the bustling atmosphere of downtown Los Angeles.

After making several turns, they stopped in front of a three-story building.

"We've arrived, boss. This is it. Black Wolf said he'd be waiting for us here."

The three then got out of the car.

The guy codenamed Eagle, whom we met last time, was sitting in front of the gate, reading a newspaper. When he saw Chen An and his group appear, he nodded slightly.

"The Black Wolf is inside, you can go in." Then he went back to looking around on his own.

Upon hearing this, Chen An led Karl and the other man directly into the building. There were no guns as he had imagined; it was just an ordinary residential house. It seemed that Black Wolf still kept the guns stored separately.

"An, you bastard, we meet again!" Black Wolf, dressed in loose pink pajamas, walked down the stairs, which looked rather incongruous with his fierce appearance.

"Black Wolf, you look much more energetic than I have in just a few days," Chen An said with a slight smile.

"Damn it! It's all your fault for causing such a huge mess. I couldn't sleep for nights on end, and I almost couldn't escape Los Angeles."

Upon hearing this, Chen An asked the question that had been nagging at him, "Black Wolf, why are they looking for you?"

"Nonsense, if they can't find you guys, of course they'll come to me, the gun buyer. And it's not just me; they investigate everyone selling weapons in Los Angeles."

"After all, guns don't appear out of nowhere."

Chen An nodded, looking apologetic. "I'm sorry, I've bothered you."

"Forget it, it's all in the past. How much money did you bring this time, and what are you going to buy?" Black Wolf asked.

"Not many." Chen An waved his hand. "50 grenades, 300 rounds of each type of bullet, and a few of the tactical helmets from last time. Oh, and do you have any rocket launchers? If so, give me a few of those too."

Black Wolf listened blankly to Chen An's explanation, then cursed, "Fuck! An! Are you trying to blow up the Los Angeles City Hall? Why are you buying so much?!"

"Never mind that. Whether I have it or not, I brought $100,000 with me this time." Chen An took out a stack of US dollars and placed it on the table.

Black Wolf's eyes lit up when he saw the $100,000.

"An, I want to ask you, you're not really going to go against the police with these weapons, are you? If so, I might not be able to sell them to you."
