Chen An wouldn't listen to any of it. The news of his sister's death kept replaying in his mind. His fists were clenched, and the veins on his forehead were bulging. He was on the verge of extreme anger!

The thing he least wanted to happen still happened. It was all because it was too late. If he had acted sooner, would his sister still have been saved?

Krick continued to plead, which annoyed Chen An, so he stomped down without hesitation, activating the "Strong as an Ox" attribute at full power.

"what!"

Screams and the sound of bones cracking echoed all around.

Looking at his extremely twisted calves and Chen An's murderous gaze, Creek finally felt an unprecedented and immense fear, and a yellow liquid flowed from his crotch.

"Do you know why I came to America?" Chen An looked coldly at Creek and said to himself, "It's to find my sister."

"Now you're telling me she's dead? What do you think I should do? I'm all alone in this world now. How am I supposed to kill you?"

Looking into Chen An's bloodshot eyes, Creek's voice trembled, "I...I can...I can give you money."

"How much do you want? Ten thousand dollars, a million dollars, I can have it all. I promise I won't cause you any trouble afterwards."

"Do you think this will be of any use?" Chen An had thought that he could find out his sister's whereabouts by capturing Creek, but now it seemed impossible, so Creek was useless to him.

"You should go down and be buried with my sister."

Chen An looked at Karl and said, "Is there any way to make him die a painful death?"

Karl laughed upon hearing this.

"Of course there is. Just sink him into the sea, and he'll watch himself suffocate to death. I've done this a lot in the Middle East, but this is the first time I've done it in America."

Hearing the two discussing this so openly, Creek looked horrified. "You can't do this. The Creek family won't let you get away with it. You won't get a good night's sleep every night afterward. This won't do you any good."

Chen An spoke calmly, "It's simple, just wipe out the Kree family. After all, your brother was involved, so I'll make sure they receive the same treatment as you."

"You're insane!" Creek shouted hysterically. "Who do you think you are, the mayor of America, the governor of California? The Creek family isn't someone you can mess with!"

"You don't need to worry about that." He looked at Karl and said, "Make your move, and then leave immediately."

Carl nodded.

"Fuck! Daddy won't let you get away with this. You'll all be turned into 'specimens' to keep me company, and your families too! Daddy will make sure you all pay with your lives!"

Seeing that nothing he said would work, Creek simply started cursing.

Chen An ignored him. Why bother arguing with a dead man? The longer it dragged on, the more clues would be left. He was sure that the whole of Los Angeles was after them. Luckily, they had disguised themselves beforehand, but that wasn't absolute.

Although the United States is chaotic, its police force is also very capable, making it difficult to leave any clues.

"Sir, these are the items found in Creek's pockets. I lost my cell phone on the way here, and some other electronic devices that might have been used for tracking have also been disposed of."

Upon hearing this, Chen An reached out and took it.

A JPMorgan Chase bank card is useless; if you dare to withdraw money from it, you'll be caught the next second.

Next was a photo, which seemed to be a group photo with four people: Creek himself, another person he recognized, Creek Weddell, and the other two were probably Creek's two brothers.

As for US dollars, not a single one.

That makes sense; as the eldest son of the Kerry family, how could he possibly spend his own money?

A dozen minutes later.

Carl and Anton walked over slowly, dusting off their hands. "Boss, it's all done. That Crick guy is dead meat."

"Okay." Chen An nodded. "Change your clothes, remove your disguise, and then leave."

As he spoke, Chen An removed his wig, beard, and other items and threw them on the ground. Then he took the makeup remover and began to wipe off the thick makeup on his face. The other three did the same.

Then change into clean clothes.

"Anton, hide the gun. You can't bring it back to the Graffiti Building. It'll attract attention even on the street. Take it out only when you need it."

Anton nodded, picked up his gun holster and four Glock 19s, and walked in one direction.

Chen An took out a match, lit one, and set the clothes on the ground ablaze until they were reduced to ashes before leading Carl and Emily away.

I hailed a taxi on the street and drove towards the Graffiti Building.

Just as they were about to reach the southern part of the city, a large number of police officers appeared on the road ahead, forcing the taxi to stop.

This made Chen An look wary, but after thinking about it, he returned to normal, thinking it was probably just a routine check.

Ada and a male police officer walked over.

"Get out of the car and show your ID," Ada said.

The driver quickly and slowly raised his hand, then got out of the car, as did Chen An and the other two.

"It's you?!" Ada's expression shifted.

Upon hearing this, Chen An's heart raced. Could he really be that unlucky to be recognized so soon? There were armed police officers all around him, and he had no chance of escaping.

I saw you at the Graffiti Building.

As Ada continued, Chen An breathed a sigh of relief, then smiled and said, "Oh, I remember now, you're the beautiful policewoman who came to inquire last time."

"Just call me Ada. We're going to check you now, please cooperate."

Chen An nodded. "Of course, we are all law-abiding citizens and we have absolutely no illegal items on us."

Ada then searched Emily, while another officer thoroughly searched all three of them and checked their identities. After confirming there were no problems, the items were returned to them.

"Officer Ada, what happened?"

Ada gritted her teeth and said bitterly, "A group of terrorists attacked the Hogstown Hotel; they blew through the floor! More than a dozen people died!"

"They're incredibly arrogant, but we haven't caught a single one yet. I heard that these people are all highly skilled drivers, and once they're shaken off, they can never be found again. So, the higher-ups have issued an order to conduct a full-scale search for suspicious individuals."

"Mr. Mark Ann, if you see the person in this picture, please contact us."

Looking at the picture above, Chen An realized it was just Karl and Anton in disguise, but luckily he wasn't among them.

"Yes, Officer Ada, I'll keep a close eye on it."

"By the way, have you found your sister?" Ada suddenly asked.

Chen An's expression twisted. How did the other party know about this?

"That's right, I was there every time you went to the police station, so I was able to recognize you."

"I see." Chen An smiled. "Thank you for your concern, officer. We've found it."

"Good that you've found it, you can leave now."
