Huayu: Starting from managing the Mahua FunAge Theater Troupe

June 12nd, 6 PM.

The sixth episode of "Chinese Comedians" aired on time.

In this episode, Happy Twist presents "The Summer of Prison Break".

The protagonist of the story is a suona player named Er Gou, who is arrested and imprisoned for disturbing the peace by playing the suona.

In prison, he encountered Song Jiang from the next cell.

Song Jiang was very enthusiastic and insisted on taking Er Gou with him on the prison break.

The problem is that every time Er Gou tries to distance himself from the situation, his sentence gets longer and longer, from one day to one month, and then from one year to the death penalty.

Seeing that he was about to be beheaded, Er Gou thought he was completely finished.

At the crucial moment, Shi Qian, Wu Song, and other Liangshan heroes made a collective appearance, staging a hilarious rescue from the execution ground.

Ultimately, Er Gou was swept up in this momentum and unwittingly became the "109th hero of Liangshan".

In 2004, this kind of comedic thinking that "deconstructs the classics" was quite avant-garde and rare in mainstream television sketches.

Viewers' understanding of sketch comedy has been refreshed once again.

The entire skit lasts about 17 minutes, involves 11 actors, and has a complex stage arrangement. It feels like a condensed comedy film, making the audience laugh from beginning to end.

Zhao Benshan was so amused by the final joke, "Liu Huan from 'The Ballad of Heroes'", that he slapped his thigh and laughed out loud.

Of course, there is some exaggeration involved, since I had seen the rehearsal, but this reaction is indeed the reaction when I first saw the skit.

The audience couldn't tell at all that he was faking a smile.

That's why Zhao Benshan is such a good actor.

As expected, Happy Twist once again won the single-episode championship, marking their sixth consecutive championship.

……

6 month 14 day.

It was a little after 10 a.m.

Hepingli Office.

Shen Feiyang flipped through the charity performance plan finalized by the company and the Women's Federation and other departments.

The performance will run from June 21 to July 7.

The trip will last seventeen days, during which we will perform charity shows in thirteen key cities and prefectures in Yunnan.

This was a public performance held in conjunction with a special rectification campaign launched by the Provincial Public Security Department.

Happy Twist is just one of the invited teams; the Liaoning Folk Art Troupe will also participate in this charity performance.

Although it only covers basic food, lodging, and travel expenses, and does not include performance fees, the potential profits are immeasurable.

……

6 month 18 day.

The recording of episode 12 of "Chinese Comedians" has been completed.

During the championship award ceremony, Shen Teng openly announced that he already had a girlfriend and invited Wang Qi to the stage, where the two embraced openly.

Jiang Yan and Xiong Naijin, who were standing to the side, were extremely envious.

Shen Feiyang chooses to respect others.

These days, it's not considered bad news when a celebrity announces a relationship.

This episode will air on July 24th. To prevent the program rankings from being leaked in advance, the production team, all staff members, and every audience member invited to each episode signed a confidentiality agreement.

To date, there have been no leaks.

……

For the next period of time.

Shen Feiyang, Shen Teng, and others participated in a charity performance to prevent child abduction.

Because it was nearing the end of the semester, most of the actors in the troupe were still students.

Only Zhou Dayong and Huang Nina will be performing with Shen Teng. The Women's Federation has contacted primary schools in various places to select suitable child actors for rehearsals and performances.

This tour is divided into three phases.

The first phase focuses on key cities and prefectures.

Kunming, Zhaotong, Qujing, Yuxi, Honghe, and Wenshan.

The second phase will extend to key areas.

Huize, Yanjin/Daguan, Xichou, Mile.

The third phase focuses on border and remote areas.

Pu'er, Lincang, and Xishuangbanna.

Even before the tour began, publicity for it had already been rolled out across Yunnan.

Print media, radio, television, and all mainstream publicity channels were fully utilized.

Every episode of "Chinese Comedians" is rebroadcast and can be seen everywhere, from Yunnan TV to county-level TV stations.

The viewership ratings are impossible to quantify, but at least five out of every ten people in Yunnan have heard of it.

The performances for this tour will be held in large squares in various cities.

Those who have their own stage perform directly on it; those who don't have a stage set up temporarily.

In some particularly large venues, such as the first performance in Kunming, the provincial capital, more than 50,000 people were attracted to watch the show live. Many audience members could only see the performance through the large screen or hear the sound.

The charity performance troupe presents a variety of programs, including crosstalk, skits, songs and dances, and Errenzhuan (a traditional Chinese folk art form).

Shen Teng attracts cheers and applause from the audience wherever he performs.

Shen Feiyang, who was in charge of leading the team, was collecting business cards from various local leaders and influential figures, knowing he might need them someday.

……

And during this period.

6月19日，《中国喜剧人》第七期播出；6月26日，《中国喜剧人》第八期播出；7月3日，《中国喜剧人》第九期播出。

Happy Twist achieved a nine-year winning streak with hits like "Robbery," "Eighty-One Tribulations," and "Heart Signal."

Liaoning TV produced a special program for "Chinese Comedians," which included street interviews. They randomly interviewed people on the street, asking them if they had watched "Chinese Comedians" and who they thought would win.

Over 40% of the audience voted for Shen Teng (Happy Twist).

The people have already developed the expectation that Shen Teng will be the next Zhao Benshan, the next king of sketch comedy.

……

7 month 6 day.

The group arrived at the last stop of their charity tour, Jinghong City, Xishuangbanna.

The performance is in the evening.

During the day, Shen Teng and the others were busy rehearsing and working with the young actors.

Shen Feiyang sat in the audience, chatting with a group of local leaders.

As we were talking, my phone rang.

Caller ID: Ning Hao.

Shen Feiyang walked to the side and answered the phone.

"Hello, Director Ning?"

"Hello, Mr. Shen..."

Ning Hao asked somewhat awkwardly, "Um, Mr. Shen, are you financially well-off? I have a film project that's about to start shooting, but the investors are having problems. Now we have to switch from film to digital shooting, but we're still short of funds."

"How much is the difference?"

Two hundred thousand.

"I'm out of town right now. I'll call Mr. Yu right away. You can contact him later and ask him to lend you the money."

"Mr. Shen, thank you. I'll treat you to dinner sometime."

"Don't mention it, we're all brothers. I'll call Boss Yu."

After hanging up the phone, Shen Feiyang called Yu Kai and asked him to invest 200,000 yuan in Ning Hao directly in the name of Feiyang Film and Television Investment Company, and to cover any losses.

Shen Feiyang's film and television investment company, controlled by Feiyang Capital, was established the month before last, but it hadn't been used until now. After earning one million yuan from Hunan TV last month, he invested 500,000 yuan into Feiyang Film and Television, which is now coming in handy.

……

at the same time.

On the other side of Jinghong City.

The crew of "Sky Castle" is currently filming.

Li Bingbing's agent, Li Xue, was reading a copy of the Xishuangbanna Daily.

The headline on the front page is—

A charity performance troupe promoting anti-trafficking awareness visited our prefecture, with stars like Shen Teng giving outstanding performances to spread knowledge about preventing child abduction.

"It's really popular, you can even see reports about it here," Li Xue muttered.

Li Xue wasn't interested in Shen Teng; she was interested in Shen Feiyang, who was behind Shen Teng.

Li Xue felt that she and Shen Feiyang were somewhat similar.

Similarities in their careers.

Li Xue's life goal is to personally make her older sister, Li Bingbing, the most popular actress in China.

Coincidentally, Shen Feiyang was doing something similar, and doing it very successfully.

Li Xue had read the article titled "My Cousin Cured My Mental Inflation".

According to Shen Teng, apart from their debut work "Mahua," the basic framework for all of Happy Twist's other works, including stage plays and sketches, was created by Shen Feiyang. Shen Teng also revealed that Shen Feiyang was the core planner of the hit variety show "Chinese Comedians."

Li Xue had never seen such an awesome 18-year-old boy.

Li Xue took out her phone and called the leaders of the Jinghong Municipal Bureau of Culture, Sports, Radio and Television.

This unit's functions include assisting out-of-town film crews in shooting on location in the area and coordinating and organizing major citywide cultural and artistic events.

……

Here.

Shen Feiyang was still watching the rehearsal and chatting with the leaders.

"President Shen..."

"Director Liu, what's wrong?"

Shen Feiyang looked at the deputy director of the Culture, Sports, Radio, Film and Television Bureau with a puzzled expression.

The deputy director of the Culture, Sports, Radio, Film and Television Bureau said, "A Miss Li would like to meet with you."

"Who?"

"Do you know the actor Li Bingbing? Li Bingbing starred in 'Sky City,' which was filmed here. This Ms. Li is Li Bingbing's agent."

"Oh. Director Liu, could you please give me her phone number?" Shen Feiyang took out his phone.
