Chapter 77 They're playing with fire

"No way, I won't do it!"

Pride looked like he would rather die than do it. He would rather not fly the plane and go pick on people from other military academies than do that!

He's a fighter jet pilot, not a pesticide sprayer operator!

When Knight brought Pride over, he explained the plan to Pride. After considering Sirinti's suggestion, Knight revised the operation plan, proposing to spray the drug directly from the plane. This would not only be more efficient but also have a higher success rate. Since Sachi was marked in red, they now only had six people on the operation. The best combination was one pilot and five people operating the plane. Using two people to pilot the plane, making it four people would be too strained. But Pride rejected the plan before even hearing it.

Seemingly expecting this, Knight didn't react much, nonchalantly saying, "Then you go mark the red areas, I'll go fly the plane. It'll be the same whether you're there or not." As Knight turned to leave, he muttered, "Tch, can't even apply poison properly, no wonder they lost the mech battle!"

"You...you...I'm telling you, reverse psychology won't work!" Although he said that, Pride's expression clearly showed that he was listening to the plan.

Knight curled his lip, truly wondering how the Ji family could raise such a freak.

Ignoring Pride's earlier words, Knight told Pride about the plan and then sent encrypted messages to both Ci Jincheng and Xilin. Had was on his way to meet up with Xilin and Long; Xilin would then tell him how to proceed.

If a game always follows the same formula, it becomes meaningless, so Knight wholeheartedly agreed with Sirin's suggestion. Perhaps this operation will be a landmark event in the history of regional multiplayer online battles. After all, no one had ever thought of, or would have used, such a despicable method before, right?

After a few days of relative calm, tensions began to rise among the four military academies, and they would typically engage in mutual attacks at this point.

The monitoring station on planet C-N300 houses Prometheus High School (marked in red by the First Military Academy), Billy Academy (marked in red by the Second Military Academy), Vana High School (marked in red by the Third Military Academy), Qililag High School (marked in red by the Fourth Military Academy), and St. Bernd Academy (marked in red by the Seven Stars). Some military academies that are also marked in red are also there, such as Rein and Bonn.

When Sachi was first brought there, he was filled with emotion, and the people from the other universities looked at him strangely. It wasn't the look of looking at a loser, but rather a mixture of curiosity and fear of the unknown. Of course, the people from St. Bernard University certainly didn't give him a friendly look.

Seven Stars is truly extraordinary this year. No one expected that Seven Stars would adopt the same offensive strategy as the military academy, and the time it took to eliminate St. Bernard was no more than that of the other four military academies. Many people are hoping that Seven Stars can become a dark horse and crush one or more of the four military academies, which would break the myth of the military academy.

When Rhine and Born were taken to the monitoring station, many people looked at them as if they had seen a ghost. Especially Born, who was a "special" level trainee. Although he had never been seen participating in the regional platform's gladiator tournaments, it was generally acknowledged that Born was stronger than Rhine.

The monitoring station has many screens, and through the multi-angle view of the satellite array, it can observe the actions of other people who are not marked in red. Each academy and each student has a different focus. Many are paying close attention to Shadow X and Long, because those are the people the instructors said they would "treat with special care." But now they don't have that opportunity, so they can only see who can mark those two in red.

That's why some people were able to see that scene between Bonn and Long.

No one saw what happened beneath the lake's surface; all they knew was that when Long surfaced, he was carrying the unconscious Born, then tossed him onto the shore and fired a shot that left the lake red-hot. At that moment, many people, including several officers, felt a chill run down their spines.

In truth, Born didn't know what had happened. After diving into the lake and swimming downstream, he could clearly sense Long's location. But before he could react, Long suddenly changed direction and swam directly towards him at a speed... Born felt that it was beyond human capabilities. At that moment, Born felt more like he was facing some kind of deep-sea monster. But before Born could react, everything went black, and he passed out. When he woke up, he was already at the monitoring station.

Because the Seven Stars are attracting so much attention, many people approached Sachi to try and extract information from him when he was brought here. However, Sachi wasn't really in the mood to deal with others right now. Since he was marked in red, the Seven Stars' action team will likely make some changes.

Sachi switched his observation point to observe the actions of each member of the Seven Luminaries. After cooperating for so many days, Sachi had gained some understanding of their methods.

Suddenly, Sachi's hand paused on the switch button. He zoomed in on the screen and squinted after seeing it clearly. When he switched to Pride's observation point, he discovered a device on Pride's plane, and Sachi was certain that it was definitely Sirin's doing!

What underhanded tricks is Xilin up to now?

Sachi planned to lock his observation point on Pride's location. He knew that if any action were to take place, the device Sirin had installed on the plane would definitely be the trigger! Moreover, it was absolutely the highlight of this operation!

When some people saw Sachi point his observation point at Pride, they also adjusted their observation points and kept an eye on Pride. Although they didn't know what would happen on Pride's side, since Sachi had chosen to lock onto Pride's point, they did the same. After all, Sachi was a member of the Seven Stars, and his teammates must have a tacit understanding. Hmm, something must be going to happen.

Meanwhile, some students from Seven Luminaries who hadn't noticed Sachi's actions but were observing the other members of Seven Luminaries began to shout, "Seven Luminaries is playing with fire this time!"

"It looks like they're taking action, and they're targeting the Fourth Military Academy!"

The Seven Stars and their group were heading towards the Fourth Military Academy's stronghold.

"They're actually eyeing the Fourth Military Academy's stronghold?! That's incredibly audacious!"

Hearing these words, some students began to pay attention, but most of them still chose to focus on the First Military Academy, because the First Military Academy and the Second Military Academy were locked in fierce competition at the time. The battles between the military academies were very exciting and intense, and they were very enjoyable to watch. So, between the Seven Stars and the First Military Academy, they chose the First Military Academy. It was for this reason that they later regretted it.

Half a day ago, the Third Military Academy attacked the Fourth Military Academy's stronghold. However, the Fourth Military Academy's personnel returned quickly and performed their defenses very well. After one person from each side was marked in red, the Third Military Academy's personnel withdrew when they saw that the attack had failed. Therefore, it would have been unwise to attack the Fourth Military Academy's stronghold at this time, since almost all of the Fourth Military Academy's personnel who had gone out had returned to the stronghold, and the person who marked Sachi in red had also returned.

One hour later.

"Holy crap, what is this?!"

He yelled at Pride's men from the observation post.

Thank you Shenzhen镖爷 for the tip! ^^

I was too busy today, so I'm updating a bit late. But as per my standard of two updates a day, I'll make up for it with the second update today.

P.S.: There are Dragon Boat Festival events on the homepage; those who want to earn experience points to level up can check them out. However, my luck was terrible today. A friend got 1000 experience points in one go, but… why did I only get 10?!
