Chapter 74 onwards is highlighted in red.

"What...is this?"

Knight stared blankly at something on a table in the control room.

Knight got up early that morning and opened the control room door to find five fist-sized warheads on the table in front of Sirin. Knight was bet he hadn't seen any warheads like these distributed at the camp. Integrated warfare regulations prohibited the distribution of air-to-ground weapons.

Sachi, Had, and the others also got up early and were quite surprised to see the five things in the control room.

The five bullets have spiral patterns, like the threads on a screw.

Ci Jincheng's eyes lit up as he looked at the five warheads: "Is there something inside?"

"Not bad." Xilin nodded.

Ci Jincheng walked over and examined the warhead carefully, then said, "Is there a detector inside?"

Xilin gave Ci Jincheng a thumbs-up and explained, "According to the plan, Knight and Pride will be piloting the plane to St. Bernd today. Although the plane isn't equipped with offensive weapons, it can carry them. These five warheads are all equipped with detectors and jamming devices. Knight and Pride will launch these five warheads before landing. They will burrow underground and emit signals to disrupt the 'Sentinel' defense network and detect changes in the surrounding area..."

Xilin explained the function of the five warheads to everyone. According to the rules of integrated warfare, aircraft cannot be equipped with offensive weapons and are generally only used for carrying people. In the past, some people have mounted some portable weapons on them, but the results were not very good.

Perhaps because many trainees are now accustomed to high-tech combat, they have gradually neglected some primitive and basic combat methods. Over-reliance on advanced technology and high-destructive weapons is not very meaningful for the trainees' development. Therefore, in comprehensive warfare, large-area attack weapons are not equipped; trainees basically have to carry guns and go out one by one to "mark red" targets.

The so-called "red mark" means "killed." If the sensors on a trainee determine that the attack is fatal, the trainee's clothes will turn red to indicate that the trainee is "dead." Trainees marked in red can only stay in place and wait for the garrison to come and retrieve them. Trainees marked in red will be taken to the monitoring station. Although they have left the battle, they can watch the battlefield situation on the screens at the monitoring station.

The closest school to Xilin and his group is St. Bernard Academy, which is also from Star B. St. Bernard Academy ranked eighth in total points before the comprehensive battle and is a well-known school in Star B.

Based on the five warheads of Xilin, Knight slightly adjusted the battle plan. If successful, it would shorten the time by three times. The shorter the time, the greater the advantage they would gain.

Some teams will prioritize finding energy cubes, while others will eliminate their closest competitors first. The saying "one cannot tolerate another snoring beside one's bed" applies here. If the competitor is not eliminated, there will be greater obstacles in finding energy cubes, and the wasted time will amount to more than just a day or two.

Knight had clearly chosen a more aggressive approach. The other four military academies had typically followed suit, and any outpost near one of them would be marked in red the following day. So, when the people of St. Bernard learned that their outpost was the Seven Stars instead of one of the four military academies, they were overjoyed. While the gap between them and the four academies was significant, the schools in Sector B were generally fairly evenly matched; there was no absolute advantage. Even though the Seven Stars had produced two strong contenders this year—Knight and Shadow X—St. Bernard wasn't too afraid. They weren't military academies, so what was there to fear?

Seven people participated in the offensive. Flor, Kangman, and Cijin stayed at the stronghold, while the other seven joined the attack.

Each aircraft was equipped with two planes, one piloted by Knight and one by Pride. Knight was accompanied by Sirin, Long, and Kopty, while Pride was accompanied by Sachi and Hard. Although Pride was usually arrogant, he was not careless when it came to actual operations.

"We're almost at their base. If we get any closer, their 'sentinels' will detect us."

"Okay, that's enough for now."

"Execute Plan A," Knight said into the communicator.

"Understood." After receiving Knight's notification, Pride turned the plane around and flew in another direction.

After Pride's plane flew away, Knight's plane circled around, taking the opportunity to check if there were any energy cubes nearby. Unfortunately, there weren't any.

Ten minutes later.

"Time is up."

To prevent the other side from intercepting communications, Knight and Pride agreed on a time when both sides would launch their warheads simultaneously.

Unlike other warheads, the warhead's trajectory wasn't nearly straight; it was irregular and difficult to predict its next flight path. After launching the warhead, Knight parked the aircraft in a camouflage location and then, along with Sirin, Long, and Copty, began their stealthy advance towards St. Bernd.

It must be said that Pride's ability is indeed quite good. When Knight fired the warhead, Pride also arrived at the expected position and fired the warhead.

When the air raid sirens in St. Berne indicated high-speed missiles moving through the air, the trainees were somewhat incredulous. Weren't there no air-to-ground weapons? What were these five? However, the air defense system did not detect any aircraft entering the warning zone.

Because the missiles were very fast and their trajectories were impossible to track, and because they had never expected the Seven Luminaries to attack them, especially from the air, the interception was unsuccessful.

The missiles weren't aimed at their aircraft; in fact, they had only just entered the edge of the protected area. After colliding with the ground, the missiles didn't explode but instead burrowed into the earth, and then everything returned to calm.

However, this peace did not last long. The people of St. Bern discovered that the "Sentinel" defense network had begun to be hacked, and the hacking was happening very quickly!

Of course, with two experts, Ci Jincheng and Kang Man, joining forces to launch a double invasion at Qi Yao's stronghold, it would be strange if things didn't go smoothly.

After lasting only thirty seconds, St. Bernd's "Sentinel" defense network completely collapsed. Although they suspected it might be due to the five missiles, they couldn't resolve the issue immediately, since those five things had burrowed underground.

Inside the Seven Luminaries spacecraft, Ci Jincheng turned on the communicator, "Intrusion successful, initiating 'red highlighting'."

St. Bernd's "Sentinel" system was disabled, but the detectors carried by the missiles could clearly display all the changes in the surroundings on the screen in front of Ci Jincheng. All Ci Jincheng had to do was tell these situations to the seven people on the mission. Detailed information would be provided about who was around, how far away they were, and how much danger was in the vicinity.

On the space station outside planet C-N300, the officers leading ten squads sat watching. Numerous screens displayed the outdoor operations of each squad via satellite. However, one screen in the very center didn't show the action footage; instead, it displayed blue and red dots.

Yesterday, the screen was all blue, but today there are red dots, which mean they've been "marked in red." Each dot displays the cadet's information, letting the officers know who it represents. This screen full of dots clearly shows that the military academy's cadets are significantly stronger than those of other institutions in Sector B. As usual, any other institutions near the military academy will be marked in red the following day; no matter how much preparation they make, they won't survive until the next day.

The officers leading the teams from the four military academies had become numb to the situation. The officers leading the teams from the marked-in-red academies were prepared, but they were still somewhat displeased. Even more displeased than them was the officer leading the team from St. Bernard; his gloomy face revealed that he was inwardly roaring.

As Gerald sat leisurely picking his teeth while watching the St. Bernard cadets highlighted in red on the screen, he occasionally hummed a military tune, which made the St. Bernard officer in charge grind his teeth in annoyance.
