Full-Time Mage: One random forbidden spell per month

Chapter 4 The Mysterious Mage from Another World

Li Xingze knew that the higher the bloodline of a demon, the more difficult it was to form a contract with it.

but!

Undeterred, Li Xingze arrived above the Golden Flame Dragon Lion. He absolutely could not miss this excellent summon!

The Golden Flame Dragon Lion's senses were extremely sharp, and it instantly detected the humans above it, its golden eyes revealing a disdainful look.

How dare an ant try to take advantage of it!

I rely on!

Li Xingze noticed this look. Damn, this was the first time he had been looked down upon by a demon beast. A fire was instantly ignited in his heart, and he used his mental power to create a rope and tie it to the beast's head.

Feeling the rope around its neck, the Golden Flame Dragon Lion became enraged and began to gallop wildly across the grassland, carrying Li Xingze with it.

Li Xingze's attempt to steal a chicken backfired, and he was instead toyed with like a kite by the Golden Flame Dragon Lion.

"As expected, it is indeed very difficult for me to form a contract with this Golden Flame Dragon Lion with my mental strength."

Li Xingze was also angered by this guy, and he planned to use his last resort.

[Spirit Locking Seal: Magic range E-, single-target effect B]

Of course, Li Xingze didn't intend to kill the Golden Flame Dragon Lion. He happened to have a B-grade mental forbidden spell in his hand, which could make it completely submit!

To avoid any mishaps, Li Xingze decided to use manual release from two reels.

After making up his mind, Li Xingze summoned a forbidden magician of the mind type at the cost of one scroll of earth-type forbidden spell and one scroll of mind-type forbidden spell.

A golden light flashed, and then an old-looking gray-robed mage appeared beside him.

Unlike Li Xingze's spiritual body, which hovered in mid-air, this gray-robed mage flew directly through the air.

Horror!

"As per the contract, I will complete a forbidden spell for you."

"Speak, what do you want me to do?"

Hearing the aged voice, Li Xingze was stunned for a moment.

This old man doesn't seem to be randomly generated; he's a living, breathing person. Could he be a mage from another world?

However, now is not the time to think about these things. Each summon has a time limit, so we must race against time.

"Old sir, I want you to make that golden flame dragon lion submit to me. As long as it submits, don't harm it," Li Xingze said.

"That's it?" The gray-robed mage looked astonished. Was this mission really that simple?

Controlling a lion cub was incredibly easy for him.

Is it a bit of an overreaction to use forbidden magic to control a lion cub?

"Yes." Li Xingze nodded.

The gray-robed mage gave him a deep look and began to mutter ancient and mysterious words.

Li Xingze was completely confused and couldn't understand a word.

Perhaps it's some kind of special magical incantation.

Two and a half minutes later, the gray-robed mage raised his magic staff toward the golden flame dragon-lion.

A dazzling and brilliant light shot straight out and finally disappeared into the eyes of the Golden Flame Dragon Lion.

"The contract is complete, young friend. I look forward to seeing you again." The gray-robed mage smiled at Li Xingze and then vanished into thin air.

"Is that all?"

Li Xingze hadn't realized that forbidden spells should take a long time to prepare.

Or is it because of the effect of that special chanting?

Just as he was pondering, the Golden Flame Dragon Lion charged over from the distance of the grassland at an incredible speed, arriving in front of Li Xingze in just a few minutes.

The Golden Flame Dragon Lion lowered its proud head, and its submissive appearance delighted Li Xingze.

That gray-robed mage is truly terrifying!

Although the golden flame dragon lion had already submitted, Li Xingze still had to carve a soul mark on its head.

Only with this soul imprint could he summon the Golden Flame Dragon Lion from the summoning plane.

Advanced-stage summon beast obtained!

Tianlan High School.

It's time for the annual performance review.

Each class stood in a square formation on the playground, and the assessments for each class were conducted separately.

Star-sensing stones can sense a person's level of cultivation by reflecting the brightness of their light, and this is one of the criteria for judgment.

"The intensity of the Star-Sense Stone's radiance represents the level of magical energy within your Stardust. As long as you don't waste this year, I believe you will all achieve good results."

Class teacher Xue Musheng stood in front of everyone and said with a serious expression.

"Sigh, I've only managed to get three stars. I wonder if I'll be expelled."

"Hehe, I got four stars, just barely passing."

"The best student in our class is definitely Mu Bai. I heard that he has already mastered all seven stars, so casting magic is no problem for him."

"What? Seven! That's terrifying!"

"."

Thirty new classes, totaling 1,500 students, stood impressively on the training field in their Tianlan Magic High School uniforms, forming rows of square formations.

After the principal finished his speech, it was the turn of school board member Mu He to speak. He stood on the stage and vividly described a bright future to the students.

In the end, it's all just empty talk.

Li Xingze calmly looked at Mu He on the stage, even though he could easily destroy him now.

But he won't do that.

Even if Muhe is killed, Salang can still choose someone else to carry out the calamity of the ancient capital.

The key issue doesn't lie with Mu He.

[Number of Forbidden Spell Scrolls: 9]

Although there are many forbidden spell scrolls, most of them are elemental forbidden spells, with only one scroll containing a blessing-type forbidden spell.

The most famous blessing magic is Divine Seal Praise, a forbidden blessing spell that can permanently amplify a single element, at least doubling its effect.

Unfortunately, Li Xingze awakened the dimensional type, not the elemental type.

"Today is also a very special day, as we have invited the most outstanding female magician in our city of Bo."

"That's right, it's Mu Ningxue! Let's give a round of applause to this magical genius who should have been in the same year as you, but has already been promoted to university!"

Mu He turned to Mu Ningxue beside him and said loudly.

"My God, it's Mu Ningxue! I heard she seems to have awakened a natural talent."

"I heard that she learned the basic ice skill, Ice Vine, in just eight months."

"Eight months?? My God, I've only managed to control four seeds so far. Is the difference between people really that big?"

"The key is that she's also a stunning beauty, a true gem of talent and looks, the pride of Bo City!"

The more than 1,000 students were immediately abuzz when they heard about Mu Ningxue, a legend they had heard about even before enrolling in school.

"Mu Ningxue"

Li Xingze stared intently at that stunningly beautiful figure.

Mu Ningxue stood coldly beside Mu Zhuoyun, like a stunningly beautiful painting, her long silver hair cascading down her shoulders, as soft as the first snow of winter.

Her eyebrows resembled distant mountains, her eyes were like cold pools, her nose was straight, and her lips were slightly thin and cool. When she pursed them slightly, she revealed an aloof and otherworldly temperament.

Her stunning figure was tall and elegant, her fair skin exuding a faint chill, like the only snow lotus blooming in winter, proud and beautiful.

Having little entertainment as a child, Li Xingze, bored out of his mind, sneaked into the Mu family manor and met Mu Ningxue, who was already incredibly cute as a child.

After a while, they met again.

Mu Ningxue on the stage also noticed Li Xingze looking at her, and a blush appeared on her usually icy face, making her look incredibly charming.

Let's talk about why we need to use forbidden spell scrolls. First, as mentioned before, forbidden spell scrolls vary in strength. Second, the summoning plane is many times larger than Earth. Do you think you can just encounter a true dragon whenever you want? Or a monarch whenever you want?

Even if I force myself to write it, is the protagonist an idiot? Even if the contract succeeds, can the magic power sustain it for even a second? Don't talk about suppressing realms; can you suppress a warrior-level to a servant-level, or even a monarch-level to a servant-level?

Dimensional summoning is different from contract summoning. Can it even make summoned beasts grow in reverse?
