My capital is quite large.

While the entire Chinese entertainment industry was still reveling in the fierce competition and infighting that took place at the Weibo Night event the previous night...

The following morning, a major film project poster jointly released by Huayi Brothers and director Feng Xiaogang suddenly appeared at the top of the headlines on major social media platforms, effectively grabbing everyone's attention online.

[The highly anticipated Lunar New Year comedy, *Cellphone 2*, directed by Feng Xiaogang, written by Liu Cixin, and starring Ge You and Fan Bingbing, officially began filming today!]

Fourteen years later, this phenomenal masterpiece is getting a sequel!

Looking at the top-tier cast list on the poster, almost entirely composed of the original team, countless unsuspecting passersby and longtime fans were instantly overwhelmed with nostalgia, and the comment sections of various social media platforms were filled with voices of anticipation and blessings:

"Holy crap, this is a blast from the past! Ge You's acting is absolutely flawless, and Fan Bingbing's portrayal of Wu Yue back then was also at the peak of her beauty!"

"Looking forward to Director Feng creating another classic! With this cast, it's a shoo-in for this year's Lunar New Year box office champion!"

however.

Just when the entire internet was full of optimism and the investors and the creative team were celebrating with champagne at the press conference in Yanjing.

A once-famous figure at Dongda University, who has now long since retired from the front lines, has boldly fired the first shot to overturn the poker table on Weibo!

Former CCTV star host Cui has stepped down without warning!

He published a lengthy and strongly worded accusation on his personal Weibo account.

In the article, Cui revealed that when he learned of rumors of a sequel several months ago, he personally sent a text message to the original screenwriter, Mr. Liu, with great restraint and pain, pleading with him in an extremely humble tone:

"Please, please, let me go."

At the time, screenwriter Liu reassured him in a text message, stating that the new film was called "Friends Circle" and was about modern people's online social interactions, and would absolutely not involve any allusions to the past.

however!

The official poster released today prominently features the three large, eye-catching characters: "Cell Phone 2"!

Feeling deceived and fooled, host Cui was enraged. He not only publicly posted his text message records with screenwriter Liu on Weibo, but also named and criticized him sharply, saying:

"Feng Kuzi is a morally bankrupt scumbag, everyone in the world knows that!"

"But I really didn't expect that the dignified writer and screenwriter Liu could turn into trash so quickly!!"

boom--!

This article caused an uproar across the internet!

Countless memories buried for over a decade by veteran netizens have been awakened.

Yes, before filming "Cell Phone 1", Director Feng warmly invited host Cui to his home for dumplings in order to experience life and collect materials, and humbly asked him about the daily work and life details of TV program hosts.

At the time, the host, Cui, was completely unprepared and treated the other party as a close friend, opening up and sharing a lot of interesting behind-the-scenes stories and experiences from his time hosting the show.

But the result?

After the movie was released, the host Yan Shouyi, played by Ge You, not only had a program called "Let's Say It" but also had the same hosting style and catchphrases as the host Cui!

But the most insidious thing is that Yan Shouyi in the movie is actually a morally depraved hypocrite who uses his position to have extramarital affairs and is eventually driven crazy by his mistress taking his place!

As soon as the movie was released, audiences across the country almost instinctively identified Yan Shouyi with the real-life host Cui. The criticism and accusations from the public caused Cui to suffer from severe depression for several years, and the two became enemies as a result.

Now, fourteen years later, just when Dangdang was finally emerging from the shadows, these people, for the sake of box office revenue, are tearing open his wounds again and subjecting him to wanton humiliation!

This ignited a wave of revenge in Cui, a host with a strong sense of intellectual pride, who publicly declared war on the entire internet on Weibo!

However, faced with Cui's angry denunciation, Director Feng, who had been a powerful figure in the capital market for many years, displayed unprecedented arrogance.

Director Feng published a lengthy article on Weibo titled "Ten Questions for Host Cui" in a strong counterattack. At the end of the article, he arrogantly used a series of parallel sentences to ridicule and bully the powerless and ineffective Host Cui.

"You wanted to tear me apart? Let me tell you, you can't!"

You're going to yell at me? Let me tell you, I'm not afraid of your insults!

You're going to sue me? Let me tell you, I'm waiting for you to sue me!

Are you trying to ruin my reputation? Let me tell you, I have nothing to hide!

Are you trying to bankrupt me? Let me tell you, I've paid taxes on every penny I've earned!

You want to send me to hell? Let me tell you, I'll be watching you from heaven!

"Didn't you want me to never be reincarnated? Let me tell you, I will curse you for all eternity!"

With a top director personally involved, capital in the entertainment industry and a host of celebrity fans naturally rushed to take sides and show their loyalty in a very short time.

After all, Director Feng is currently enjoying immense popularity thanks to the backing of major companies and the newly richest man in China, Mr. Xu.

Host Cui's career has long since declined, and he has absolutely no resources in the entertainment industry.

Amidst this almost one-sided bias, the most glaring and devastating element is none other than the female protagonist, Fan Xiaopang, who had just tasted the sweetness of Xu Pipi's embrace.

Fan Xiaopang prominently reposted the opening poster on Weibo, adding the caption:

"How about learning about Wu Yue from fifteen years ago? Thank you, Director Feng and Teacher Liu, for entrusting Wu Yue to me again."

A few hours later, she posted a second update, which was even more provocative, with the caption:

"On the set of the movie 'Cell Phone 2'! Wu Yue is very happy!" She also attached a selfie of herself smiling on set.

The five words, "Wu Yue is very happy," were like a poisoned knife, piercing into the already collapsing heart of Host Cui!

In the study, looking at Fan Xiaopang's smug smile on the screen, Host Cui trembled with rage, his entire composure crumbling.

"This is outrageous... You bunch of beasts in human skin, this is absolutely outrageous!!"

Just as Host Cui was filled with grief and indignation, preparing to type out a harmless accusation of suicide on the keyboard.

"Ring ring—!"

The cell phone on the table suddenly rang.

The screen displayed an unfamiliar number.

Blinded by anger, Host Cui thought it was someone from Director Feng's side calling to exert pressure or show off their power. The moment the call connected, he roared and cursed into the receiver:

"Are you going to keep bullying me like this?! I've got nothing to lose, so go ahead and kill me today if you dare!!"

However, in the face of his furious outburst, a young male voice with a hint of mockery came from the other end of the phone:

"Hehe, it seems... Host Cui is indeed quite angry today."

Host Cui's breath hitched, realizing the other party might not be Feng Kuzi's lackey. He suppressed his anger and cautiously questioned:

"Who...who are you?!"

The man on the other end of the phone chuckled softly, his tone calm, yet he uttered an opening line that made Host Cui's blood boil:

Who I am is not important to you.

"The important thing is—I have some dirty information that could send certain celebrities to jail to work as sewing machines."

"I think, Host Cui, you would be interested in this."

After several rounds of tense and tentative back-and-forth, the mysterious person on the other end of the phone finally symbolically asked for a deposit of 200,000 RMB from the host, under the pretext of "purchasing business consulting materials."

Half an hour later.

As the transfer of 200,000 yuan was completed, an encrypted data packet was silently sent to Host Cui's email address.

When Cui deciphered the code and saw the two copies of the dual contract and the fake accounting books in the document!

The elderly host, who had suffered greatly, had his pupils contract violently at that moment!
