Rebirth 09: Starting from taking charge of Running Man on CCTV

Deng Chao automatically switched to captain mode and introduced himself to the camera one by one.

"Come on, let's get to know each other formally."

"This is our strength expert, Li Chen! Brother Chen, show everyone your biceps."

Li Chen hesitated for a moment, then actually rolled up his sleeves and bent his arms.

After Chen Yang and the others finished their introductions, they raised their megaphones.

"Welcome everyone to the Beijing Olympic Park!"

All seven people turned their heads to look in his direction.

"Today is the first episode of 'Run, China!' We chose this location because a year ago, the Beijing Olympics made the world remember China."

Deng Chao clapped in agreement.

Chen He's eyes darted around.

"Could it be... Liu Xiang?"

He laughed first after he finished speaking.

"Impossible, impossible! He's an Olympic champion, why would he come here..."

He hadn't finished speaking.

The red curtain of the little red house was lifted from the inside by a hand.

A tall, slender young man wearing a white sports T-shirt came out.

He wore his signature smile.

It's Liu Xiang.

The scene exploded.

Chen He's mouth formed an "O" shape, the second half of his sentence stuck in his throat.

Deng slapped his thigh and jumped up.

Holy crap! It really is Liu Xiang!

Li Chen's eyes widened, and he instinctively straightened up.

Wang Baoqiang clapped his hands with delight.

Liu Xiang paused for a moment, then smiled.

"Thank you for your concern. I'm recovering well and preparing for my comeback match in September."

He patted his right foot.

"The doctor said I can start training normally now."

Wang Baoqiang nodded in agreement.

"That's great! The whole nation is eagerly awaiting your return!"

Liu Xiang was amused by this remark and patted Wang Baoqiang on the shoulder.

"Brother Baoqiang, I thought your performance in 'A World Without Thieves' was really good."

"Oh dear, I'm nowhere near as good as you," Wang Baoqiang said, scratching his head.

Shen Teng stepped forward at the opportune moment.

"Brother Xiang, there's a running segment on today's show, so please don't be in my team, or I'll just lie down and give up."

Liu Xiang laughed.

"Don't worry, I'm here to cheer you on today, I'm not competing with you guys."

"Then I'm relieved." Shen Teng patted his chest.

Baby stood at the very back, looking somewhat reserved.

Deng Chao noticed this and stepped forward, pushing her a step.

"Brother Xiang, this is Baby, the only girl in our team."

Baby quickly reached out her hand.

His Cantonese-accented Mandarin is soft, but very sincere.

Liu Xiang smiled and shook her hand.

"Hello, hello, keep it up!"

Chen Yang stood in the monitoring tent, watching the footage on the monitor.

The seven MCs surrounded Liu Xiang, their eyes filled with genuine excitement and respect.

An expression that can't be written in a script.

It wasn't acted out.

That's the power of reality TV.

"To celebrate the start of filming for 'Running Man China' and to pay tribute to the first anniversary of the Olympics, the production team specially invited the master craftsman who participated in the production of the gold-inlaid jade medals for the Beijing Olympics to customize a Running Man version of the gold-inlaid jade medals for us."

The eyes of all eight people lit up.

Gold-inlaid jade medal.

That's Olympic-level craftsmanship.

Deng rubbed his hands together.

"Really? Gold inlaid with jade?"

"Real gold inlaid with real jade," Chen Yang added.

The onlookers began to stir.

Some people stood on tiptoe to look inside, while others held up their phones to examine the brocade box.

Chen Yang continued.

"But due to limited funds, the master craftsman only made four."

"Four?" Chen He's eyes widened. "There are eight of us, and only four?"

"right."

"Then who can get it?"

Chen Yang did not answer the question.

He looked at Liu Xiang.

"Brother Xiang, could you please help us open the box?"

Liu Xiang smiled as he walked to the cart and reached out to press the lid of the first brocade box.

All seven MCs held their breath.

The onlookers quieted down.

All the cameras were pointed at the brocade box.

Liu Xiang lifted the lid.

There was nothing on the velvet.

Liu Xiang paused for a moment, then opened the second one.

It's still empty.

The four brocade boxes were all empty.

An eerie silence fell over the scene.

Deng Chao glanced back at Chen Yang's direction.

Chen Yang held up the megaphone, his tone eerily calm.

"The medals were indeed completed. But last night, four medals were hidden in a corner of the park."

He paused for two seconds.

"So the theme for this episode is: finding the lost medal."

Several faces changed at the same time.

Deng Chao was the first to react, his face showing a mixture of excitement and headache.

Shen Teng closed his eyes.

"I knew it wouldn't be that simple."

Chen He and Zheng Kai exchanged a glance.

Zheng Kai has already started moving his wrist.

Li Chen silently zipped his jacket all the way up.

Wang Baoqiang rubbed his hands together, his eyes lighting up.

Baby clenched her fist, her expression shifting from tense to serious.

Looking at the different yet equally vibrant reactions of the people, Chen Yang had only one thought in his mind.

These people are blessed with natural talent.
