Chapter 84 The Sun

Although it was somewhat unexpected that Olivia would come in person.

And his mission would be extended for a while, but at this moment Victor was somewhat looking forward to what was going to happen next.

Even though they had already made contact with Manugs, a formal wizard in the laboratory and a formal wizard in battle are two completely different things.

Led by Viktor, the two soon arrived at the settlement of one of the drow elf clans. Although the number of people was not large, it was well-built, about the size of a human town, and surrounded by a stone wall.

The city wall wasn't very wide, but it was wide enough to accommodate several drow patrolling on it.

Faced with this situation, if Viktor were to attack this drow town, he would probably choose to slowly erode it, find opportunities to weaken the number of drow, then try to kill the drow leaders, plunging them into internal chaos, and then gradually break through the town's defenses.

But these are clearly considerations when one's strength is insufficient.

For Olivia, she didn't even need to make any choices, let alone hide her whereabouts.

Faced with the city wall blocking her way, she simply raised her hand, and then, like a surging ocean, her magic transformed into a dazzling yet deadly sun in this dark underground world!

Before anyone could get a good look at the sun, it fell from the sky like a nuclear bomb and crashed directly into the town of the drow elves!

A mushroom cloud rose from the ground... Victor squinted, raising his hand to shield his eyes from the blinding light. After a few seconds, he lowered his hand, looking around, his brow furrowing: "Is this the destructive power of a formal wizard...?"

Even if it can't match the destructive power of a nuclear explosion, it's definitely comparable to those high-yield missiles.

With a single spell, half the town was reduced to ruins. Houses and walls were blasted to pieces, and the ground turned black, scorched by the intense heat. It's unlikely that any drow could survive under such conditions.

In the other half of the towns that were not destroyed, the remaining drow elves scrambled out of their houses, staring in disbelief at the scene before them. Some of the more fragile ones had already knelt down and begun to pray to the gods.

Unfortunately, the response they received was not from the god they believed in, but from two wizards who emerged from the ruins.

"Victor, are you going to take care of the rest?"

Olivia was slightly out of breath; even she was not at ease with such powerful witchcraft.

But she naturally wouldn't show it so obviously; instead, she looked at Viktor with a smile and asked for his opinion.

Victor was naturally unaware of Olivia's current magical state. Seeing that Olivia seemed unharmed, he subconsciously assumed that this was a standard spell cast by a formal wizard, and nodded, becoming even more respectful: "Yes, Instructor Olivia."

"Your power is enough to deter the remaining drow from resisting. Leave the rest to me."

After saying that, Victor nodded slightly to Olivia.

He then walked over to the drow elves still kneeling on the ground, casually approaching one of them. A phantom magical hand lifted his cheek, and Viktor casually asked, "In your clan, who still holds the reins?"

The drow elf looked at Viktor with eyes full of terror.

It seems they are still reeling from the apocalyptic witchcraft they just witnessed.

"Were you scared out of your wits?"

Victor didn't press the matter. Seeing that he didn't answer, Myrons squeezed hard and crushed the drow elf's head.

Blood and brain matter splattered everywhere, and the crisp sound of skulls shattering finally made the next drow, whom Viktor had brought before him, realize the current situation once again.

Looking at Viktor who was looking down at him in a panic, he stammered, "I...I don't know..."

""

"The matriarch has always been in charge of the clan, along with the Winnie sisters... their house is over there..."

Viktor looked in the direction he was pointing and indeed saw several houses that looked a little different. He nodded slightly to the drow and said, "Thank you."

After saying that, he turned around and looked at Olivia, who had followed him.

Olivia nodded and walked with Victor toward the houses.

But before the two of them could reach the house, several people came out of one of the houses. The leader was a very old woman named Zhuoer, who was still dressed in bright colors and wore only a few thin veils.

Behind them were two twin drow sisters who looked almost identical, and behind them were several male drow who were chained up... all of them were naked and covered in filth, clearly indicating what these guys had been doing.

A flicker of disgust crossed Olivia's face as she turned to Victor. Victor, understanding her meaning, immediately spoke for her: "You're the matriarch of this drow clan?"

The old drow leader glanced at Viktor, a hint of amazement flashing in his eyes, before his gaze fell on Olivia.

Before she could examine him closely, Olivia gave an impatient snort, activated her mental field, and the sudden pressure caused the old drow's expression to change drastically. Like the other drow, they all knelt on the ground in an instant.

Victor glanced back at Olivia, then, without further ado, asked the old drow again, "I'll ask you one more time, are you the matriarch of this clan?"

Cold sweat beaded on the old drow's forehead. He dared not hesitate any longer and quickly nodded, "Yes, sir... I am the matriarch of this drow clan."

"I am willing to submit to you on behalf of the entire clan..."

"7

"Very good... It's good that it's you!" Viktor nodded slightly upon hearing this, then pointed her finger at the guy's head, her magic power rapidly gathered, and a magic missile shot out. Before she could react, it pierced through the guy's skull.

They left the headless corpse lying limp on the ground.

Facing the remaining drow's fearful and panicked gaze, Viktor turned his attention to the pair of drow twin sisters behind him and calmly asked, "Your mistress is dead, so you will be hers next."

"My mentor and I need your entire clan to help us accomplish something."

"Do you have any objections?"

The twin sisters, Zhuo Er and Zhuo Er, exchanged a flustered glance, but both saw a hint of greed in each other's eyes.

So the two guys who didn't know what to do a second ago suddenly spoke up in unison: "Sir...we are willing to cooperate."
