Sanctuary Starfield Journey

103-3 Visitors to the old house

Mo Bei cautiously poked at the black crack, but his hand went straight in and touched a cold wall. He didn't know where he'd ended up, and the sudden chill startled him. He looked at Blore, "Can I not go in? It's scary!" Blore replied, "If you want to walk, it's not a short distance." Mo Bei thought meeting was more important, so he tentatively stuck his foot in, closed his eyes, and walked in. Blore led the way.

Mo Bei opened her eyes a crack, but still dared not look: "Am I dead?" Blore simply looked at her quietly: "If you don't want to see me, you don't have to open your eyes." Only then did Mo Bei open her eyes and follow Blore, who was walking ahead.

As Broer walked around the corner, Mo Bei's gaze followed. He then saw Chen Wenwu, who was trying to figure out how to get out, and his eyes also turned towards him. However, Broer blocked his view, and Mo Bei hurriedly straightened up, shielding the other two behind him.

Bloor watched the three of them, then stepped aside to make way for Mo Bei. Mo Bei immediately rushed forward, her crystalline pearls striking the cold passage, transforming into countless ice droplets that remained forever.

Reflected in the ice droplets, Mo Bei's hand rested on the light screen, aligned with Chen Wenwu's. Xing Han was stunned for a moment, tears welling up, but she immediately stopped them and looked at Bloor. It wasn't that she wanted to maliciously break the atmosphere at this moment, but she was too afraid: "Bloor... what's wrong with Mo Bei..." The dragon was also very surprised and looked at Bloor. Bloor didn't speak, turned around and disappeared into the black rift, leaving the explanation to Mo Bei.

Chen Wenwu stared at Mo Bei, who sniffed, frowned, and fixed his gaze on Chen Wenwu as if afraid he would be sucked away by the rift at any moment: "Look at this useless snot. I said I would prove to him with my own efforts that I can lead you all well, and then he brought me here to see you first."

After listening, Chen Wenwu nodded: "Alright, seeing how much you've grown, I'm relieved." He passed his hands through the light screen, and after a moment of shock, gently placed them on Mo Bei's shoulders: "Don't worry, keep going and prove yourself. We've been waiting for you all this time." Mo Bei nodded: "I won't let you down." The woman secretly watching from behind retracted the control panel, and the pool of water below transformed into a human form: "Su Luoxin, are you going to write fanfiction?" Su Luoxin nodded: "It would be a shame not to write something so touching. Shen Hua's eye is getting sharper and sharper." Shen Hua smiled, the blue markings beside his face shimmering faintly.

The blue patterns hadn't faded from the wall when Mo Bei walked by, the breeze carrying them dispersing them. Blore walked ahead, and Mo Bei asked, "Are you going to prove yourself next?" Blore replied, "You'll be staying here for a long time; you need a place to stay." Mo Bei answered, "Okay." The passage opened, revealing a path above. Following the path, a row of rooms appeared, arranged in a ring.

Blore walked up to one of the rooms and said to Mo Bei, "This room hasn't been occupied for a long time, you can stay here for now." Mo Bei approached, and Blore slipped away, leaving Mo Bei, who was still looking at the nameplate, in a flash.

"Shadow?" Mo Bei looked at the words displayed there. He gently turned the doorknob and pushed the door open.

The room was very clean; although it hadn't been lived in for a long time, not a speck of dust remained. The furnishings were very simple: a bed, a table with a notebook on it, a small statue of Bloor on the table, and a chair next to it. Even the curtains served as furniture in this room.

Mo Bei walked to the notebook and noticed a pen next to it, with several sheets of paper underneath. The notebook was titled "Blohr's Oral Biography," and the label indicated it was borrowed from the library and seemed to be four or five months overdue, probably well past its due date.

As everyone knows, few oral accounts are true, so Mo Bei picked up the book and put it aside, looking at the few pages below. The first page read: "Lord Broer has recently brought back many new members; I need to write them all down."

The second note reads: "The Five Deadly Sins of Black Star have caused the deaths of countless people throughout the universe. I cannot sit idly by and wait for death. The sudden appearance of the Repulsive Vengeance suggests something is amiss."

The third image looks much more distant than the others; I don't know why it's been preserved for so long—maybe it's interstellar technology. It says: "Fasming left the Destroyer to pursue his ambitions with his friends, creating that place called the Abyss. Now, no one knows where he is. Lord Blor feels very happy, or rather, gratified."

The fourth note reads: "Lord Bloor was actually worried I wouldn't have a place to stay, so he bought me a starship from the Heavenly Yin Empire. It's called the Destroyer. Finally, I have a place to live. Thank you, Lord Bloor!"

The fifth note reads: I don't know how I died. It was Lord Blor who saved me. Although I can't live as a human anymore, I'm still very happy to have been with Lord Blor.

There are a few other loose sheets of paper, but I won't go into detail about them for now, as they involve spoilers.

Mo Bei's opinion of the villain, Broer, has changed slightly: "Actually, he doesn't seem so bad. In fact, he seems a little good, but that won't stop me from beating him up."

With some time still remaining, Mo Bei decided to go out for a walk and familiarize himself with the Destroyer, where he would be spending a long time.
