Sanctuary Starfield Journey
101-1 Calm
Using the control panel, Yu Yanqing moved Mo Bei to the bed, then had the little robot cover him with a blanket. She then sat on a chair nearby, watching over Mo Bei. This was a decision she made after several minutes of brainstorming. It wasn't surprising; she rarely communicated directly with anyone, let alone a man.
Mo Bei opened his eyes and saw a somewhat flustered Yu Yanqing. Just as Yu Yanqing looked at him after he woke up, their eyes met. Yu Yanqing immediately looked away, burying his head low. Mo Bei leaned closer, looking at the ground: "There's nothing down there." Then he looked up at Yu Yanqing, who immediately made an excuse to leave: "I...I'm going to eat..." and vanished using his teleportation ability. Only then did Mo Bei remember that this thing had existed; what a miserable time he had endured in the Giant Rift!
Just as Mo Bei was about to use his divine speed ability, he suddenly realized he didn't have the necessary permissions. Thinking it was just due to the Great Rift, he didn't think much of it: "At worst, I'll just ask Yun'er to fix it after I return from the Dark Domain." He then went out to find Yu Yanqing.
Mo Bei walked out of the Winged Ones' Room and finally had a chance to properly tour the Wings of the Sky. As for finding his friend, he would have to find Yu Yanqing and ask her for the starship. She should be able to give it to him... right?
Mo Bei leaned against the railing, a faint scent of black star grass still lingering in the air, just like Yu Yanqing—quiet and aloof. Mo Bei activated his Eagle Eye, scanning the surroundings: a blue-purple gradient wall, soft white LED strips, trees growing in the corners, appropriately placed flowerpots, and chairs arranged in an orderly fashion, filling the ample waiting area. Mo Bei remarked, "So there are this many people below Yu Yanqing's Winged Ones' quarters." He then slowly descended the stairs in the wall, walking through the waiting area. "Even though there should be many people here, why can't I see a single person?"
Mo Bei walked towards the restaurant next door, glancing back at the waiting area. Just as he had said, the area where guests were supposed to be received was completely empty. It must have been Yu Yanqing's doing; after all, given her personality...
The moment Mo Bei entered the restaurant, he smelled a delicious aroma. Turning around, he saw Yu Yanqing eating in the empty restaurant. Mo Bei immediately ran over and asked, "What are you eating? I want some too." Yu Yanqing timidly offered him a small, butterfly-shaped cake. Mo Bei took it, but Yu Yanqing immediately pulled her hand back and focused on eating the cake.
Mo Bei took it and examined it, then smelled it. It smelled quite good, so he ate it in one bite. It was a little icy cold inside, with a hint of black star grass milk flavor. Surprisingly, it was "instantly refined"—it slid directly down his esophagus without any swallowing motion. Mo Bei nodded, "Delicious! What's this called?" Yu Yanqing replied, "I don't know..." Mo Bei pondered, "I don't know, but the name is quite sophisticated. It will provoke thought about this food, full of philosophical reflection." Yu Yanqing was a little embarrassed, "You flatter me... I made this for Yunyun..." Mo Bei couldn't help but praise, "No wonder it's so delicious, it's yours." Thinking of this, he added, "Um, my Mo Yun ship is trapped inside the Great Rift. There's no transportation to the Dark Domain right now. Um, could you give me a starship?" Yu Yanqing brought up the control panel, and a Moyun ship appeared: "Thank you... This is what I recorded earlier... It should be useful..." Mo Bei leaned closer: "It's useful, this is so realistic, it's practically identical." Yu Yanqing pulled the control panel back, disappearing into her right hand, then placed her left hand on top of her right, pursing her lips slightly: "Um... I'll go back now..." She turned and used her teleportation ability to leave, hiding under the covers, leaving a bewildered Mo Bei behind, thinking: "Yu Yanqing seems so busy, I need to work harder too." Then she prepared to formally say goodbye to Yu Yanqing and head to the Dark Domain.
Mo Bei walked back to the Winged Ones' room, opened the door and saw Yu Yanqing huddled under the covers. Thinking she was sleeping, he didn't want to disturb her, so he said "Goodbye, Yu Yanqing" and turned to leave, heading towards the dock.
The sound reached Yu Yanqing's ears, and she sat up, brought up the control panel, watched Mo Bei walk towards the dock, pressed a few buttons on the screen, and the Mo Yun ship appeared there. Then she lay back down on the bed. Yu Yanqing recalled the figure on the screen who didn't even turn back, silently thinking: This kid isn't even ready to run away before he's even set up the Mo Yun ship… He's really something. The gradually dimming control panel showed Mo Bei walking into the Mo Yun ship.
"Welcome aboard, Xiao Mo."
Mo Bei stiffened again, realizing that he hadn't seen Yun'er in a long time. He decided to finish quickly so they could go back and reunite.
Mo Bei sat back inside the Mo Yun ship, which slowly rose into the air and flew towards the vast starry sky in the distance.
Mo Bei sailed through the vast universe, and as she passed the site of the Great Rift, she still felt a sense of awe.
A voice announced, "We are approaching a high-risk zone, the Dark Domain." Mo Bei's heart skipped a beat. "But don't worry, Mo Bei, although it sounds terrifying, it's still quite friendly." Mo Bei relaxed a little. Since this sentence appeared more frequently than key foreshadowing in this novel, it must be correct, right? Mo Bei thought to himself. A large dark area appeared ahead, pure black and reflecting no light, without even a meteorite. Looking into the distance, it resembled a void in the universe.
Mo Bei, of course, had no idea what the void in the universe represented, so he continued onward. Suddenly, a surge of spiritual energy enveloped him, traversing the sea of stars and tracking his path—it was the signal emitted by Chen Jiahong of the Destroyer.
Chen Jiahong pressed a button and used his mental power to see Deng Kaiyang wake up. He said, "Go greet our guest." Deng Kaiyang, his eyes still glazed, replied, "Huh? There's a guest? Is he strong? I want to fight him and see." Chen Jiahong said, "You'll find out soon enough." Before he could tell him the location, Deng Kaiyang immediately grabbed the handles on the wall, and the entire room gradually transformed into a small starship with "Hongyang Ship" printed on the side, instantly flying into space.
