Thor's hammer hurtled toward Vega once more. Instead of dodging, Vega raised his hand and caught it. In the blink of an eye, he used the Phoenix Force to alter reality so that he could use it, and then swung the hammer at the crowd.

Captain America looked at Vega and asked, "Uh, Mr. Angel, do you know why Robbie became like this?"

Vega: "The spirit of vengeance within him has gone out of control; it is now controlling his body."

Iron Man: "Why is the Spirit of Vengeance so hostile towards you?"

Vega shrugged. Well, his body was a rectangular prism, short at the top and wide at the bottom, with no shoulders...

Vega coughed lightly: "Cough, I'm not sure either, maybe because I'm an angel?"

Hawkeye: "Where do you come from, and what is your purpose on Earth?"
