Tower Defense Lord from Earth

Chapter 111 The Execution Platform, Tower Defense Duel

At 3 a.m. on January 24, Liu Huasheng got up to build the tower.

His stamina is almost 400 points!

"Come on, let's build another divine tower!"

Liu Huasheng shouted loudly, full of energy, and swung his large construction hammer, smashing a three-tiered tower in twenty blows!

This tower is called the "Heavenly Sword Strike". It is a rare tower, but its shape is not that of a tower at all. Instead, it is a square stone platform with a side length of six meters, on which a huge "slash" character is carved!

Name: Sky Strike Sword (Rare)

Rank: 3

Area: 6m x 6m Durability: Infinite Attack Power: 1

Attack range: 0

Attack Speed: 1000

Attack Type: Holy Attack Effect: [Heavenly Strike Sword], summons a heavenly lightning sword every millisecond, dealing piercing damage to enemy units that step on it.

Mysterious Ability: [Slaying Platform], grants the Heavenly Sword Platform a binding effect of thunderous chains. Eight thunderous chains appear simultaneously from eight directions, binding the target to the center of the platform and restricting their ability to move.

This binding ability ignores magic immunity. The stronger the target, the shorter the binding time of the Thunder Chains. It can directly lock down ordinary monsters and elite monsters, and also has a very strong binding effect on powerful monster leaders.

It also grants the Thunder Sword divine damage, ignoring all defense types and defensive skills of the target, dealing true damage.

Note 1: This defensive tower cannot be integrated into Chaos City, but it can be placed on the Crystal Belt!

Note 2: Targets bound by the Thunder Chains will be targeted by the Heavenly Thunder Sword, while other targets that step onto the Heavenly Strike Sword platform will not be damaged during this time.

Note 3: The Sky Fencing Platform can only attack ground units.

"Wow, they even brought out the Execution Platform! Awesome!"

With a thought, Liu Huasheng immediately moved the Sky Sword Platform below the high ground. In his opinion, the platform was actually similar to a trap, which should be quite effective against ground monsters that had no intelligence, but it might be much less effective against players.

It was still early, and Liu Huasheng sat on the city wall, leisurely browsing the forum and trading post.

He discovered that, apart from the Tier 5 defense tower construction blueprints, all the other items he had listed for sale had already been sold.

The reserve of gold coins in Huaxia Dragon City has now reached 56!

With so many gold coins, Liu Huasheng naturally wanted to spend them.

He searched for "Starry Sea Divine Stone" in the trading house.

This is an important material for Chaos City to advance to the fourth tier, but unfortunately, no one is currently listing it for sale in the trading market.

Liu Huasheng searched for Chaos Stones again and found two, one priced at "9999999" and the other at 30,000!

"Thirty thousand is alright, it's a price I genuinely want to sell for!"

Liu Huasheng immediately spent 30,000 gold coins to buy the Chaos Stone.

Next, Liu Huasheng continued his search, looking for items such as [Stamina Potions] and [Construction Blueprints for the Chaos Quarry], which were among his needs.

Unfortunately, no one was listing the items for sale.

Actually, it's not that no players want to sell these kinds of items, but most of them have a binding setting, meaning they can only be used by the owner and cannot be listed on the trading market.

And items that can be listed for sale are usually snapped up instantly!

Many players spend all day watching the trading market, waiting to find bargains and make a fortune. There are even professional bargain hunters and speculators who monitor the trading market almost 24 hours a day.

By daybreak, Liu Huasheng closed the trading post in frustration. Since purchasing the Chaos Stone, he had not bought any other items.

"Forget it, I don't have that much energy and time to research the trading house. Let's focus on development instead—my Huaxia Dragon City is lacking a trustworthy trading house player. I'll have Qin Wuman fill in for now—"

When Liu Huasheng thought of Qin Wuman, he felt a chill run down his spine, thinking that she was truly a bewitching enchantress.

Just as he was thinking this, a pair of long legs appeared in front of him. Liu Huasheng looked up and saw that the person was Qin Wuman.

"Good morning, Lord City Lord. Lü Fengxian wants that bulletproof armor hanging at the Earth Noodle Shop. I'll pay the price for her!"

Qin Wuman spoke with a smile, tossing her long, wine-red hair, exuding charm.

Liu Huasheng swallowed subconsciously and said, "Stop fooling around, we still have to go fight at noon!"

"Noon? It's still early. Come wrestle with me! Or, shall we do it in the wild?"

Liu Huasheng blushed and said, "What did you just say? You want to pay the price for Lü Fengxian? On what grounds? How can this be allowed—"

"What, does the City Lord want her to pay for it herself? Then I'll go talk to her!"

"Stop fooling around, let's get serious!" Liu Huasheng sent a trade request to Qin Wuman, "Here's 30 gold coins. Keep an eye on the auction house for me. If you find stamina potions, chaos stones, star sea divine stones, or similar items, buy them as long as the price isn't too high!"

"Yes, Lord City Lord—hmm, should I give Lü Fengxian a hint? That girl is very naive; it wouldn't be difficult to win her over!"

As Qin Wuman spoke, she tossed her long hair again, revealing her fair swan neck, and then suddenly leaned close to Liu Huasheng's ear and whispered, "I've grown two more energy tentacles, taut and powerful."

"Damn, even heroes have struggled to resist the charms of a beautiful woman since ancient times; the ancients were right!"

Liu Huasheng cursed, no longer restraining himself, and with a glimpse of her slender waist, he returned to the city.

At this very moment, in the far distance, before a massive castle surrounded by seven-colored light, six figures slowly appeared.

They were all dressed in heavy silver armor, wore lion masks, and carried silver greatswords.

One of them asked, "Why hasn't the young master arrived yet?"

"We haven't been able to contact the young master for two days! Could something have happened?"

"Impossible! Young Master is the God of Sky Hunter, and he has two resurrection stones, which puts him above us. There's absolutely no way something could happen to him!"

"I did receive a message from the young master once; it seems he's planning to take on Huaxia Longcheng."

"Huaxia Dragon City? Which family's Chaos City?"

"I don't know, but I checked the tower defense rankings, and Huaxia Dragon City is ranked 3677th. It must be quite impressive; it must be the Chaos City of some powerful family!"

"Young Master has most likely been delayed by something, or perhaps he's entered some secret realm. Let's first conquer this City of Tracers and help Young Master find the Tracer Throne!"

"good!"

"This is our duty as Tracers!"

The six discussed for a while, and then walked together into the huge castle surrounded by seven-colored light.

At the same time, on an unnamed high mountain, three figures stood on the edge of a cliff, gazing at a giant tortoise in the sea of clouds ahead.

The giant tortoise was so enormous that it was comparable to a mountain, and the sea of clouds only reached its jaws.

"With Fei Shen not yet here, the few of us dare not provoke this behemoth!"

Of the three, the male player with long, fiery red hair spoke first.

Beside him was a blonde female player who shook her head and said, "I can't contact him, I can't send him a friend message, it's like he deleted his account! This turtle won't stay for long, once you miss it, it'll be hard to meet him again."

"Is Fei Shen thinking we're too bad and not playing with us anymore? Haha!"

A bald, burly man chuckled twice. He was shirtless, with broad shoulders and a muscular build, but he looked very young, around twenty years old.

"When Fei Shen contacted me last time, he said he was attacking Huaxia Dragon City, and the sixth wave of monster sieges would begin tomorrow. Big Bear, could you disguise yourself as an invading monster and sneak over to take a look?"

"Okay!" The bald player nodded.

The three talked for a while longer before leaving dejectedly, as if they couldn't reach the mountain of gold in front of them.

At noon, Liu Huasheng took out a teleportation talisman, located the white tiger Ah Hu, and with a thought, he was teleported to the Silver Moon Forest.

Silvermoon City has been deactivated from its invincible state and can be attacked again.

The unicorn Afei appeared in front of Liu Huasheng and said, "Human, you really came!"

"Sorry, something came up and I'm a little late."

"Silvermoon City is much stronger now, be careful of an attack!"

Thank you for your concern!

Liu Huasheng gave a few casual replies, but then became serious, fearing that Silver Moon City ahead might have some powerful tricks up its sleeve.

Moments later, the siege began.

Big Sword and Shield Dog still took the lead at the front, while White Tiger Ahu commanded the battle, and Liu Huasheng watched from the rear.

Soon, the gates of Silvermoon City opened, and elven soldiers began to appear.

But the battle unfolded exactly the same way as last time.

The only difference is that the elven soldiers and hero units are of a higher level.

The entire siege lasted three hours, and Liu Huasheng's side only lost two catapults.

At this point, Silvermoon City's durability was reduced to a mere sliver, and it once again entered an invincible state.

The original lord, the silver-haired female elf Tyrandot, also appeared. She knelt before Liu Huasheng and said, "Human, your power eclipses the entire Silvermoon Forest. I will challenge you to a tower defense duel according to the ancient covenant. If you can defeat me, you will be the new master of Silvermoon City, and I, the night elf Tyrandot, will pledge my allegiance to you!"

The unicorn Afei suddenly appeared in front of Liu Huasheng and said, "Human, you did it! You have breached Silvermoon City again! Now you have two choices!"

Liu Huasheng asked, "Which two options?"

"Your first choice is to refuse Tyrandor's challenge. Silvermoon City will be completely destroyed, but you will obtain the Silvermoon Treasures left behind within the city!"

"Your second option is to accept Tyrande's challenge. If you can defeat her, you will become the new master of Silvermoon City and gain Tyrande's allegiance!"

Hearing this, Liu Huasheng became curious and continued to ask, "What's the setting for tower defense duels?"

Afei said, "Tower defense duels are an ancient challenge contract. After accepting the challenge, you and Tyrandot will enter the duel space, where you will fight to the death with your defensive towers. But you will have to explore the specific details yourself."

"What if I lose the duel?"

"If you lose, you will lose Tyrandor's allegiance and will never be able to attack Silvermoon City again!"

"That's interesting!" Liu Huasheng said. "I accept the challenge!"

"Alright!" Unicorn Afei nodded. "I am here to witness the contract being established. The tower defense duel is about to begin. Countdown: 10, 9, 8 —"

Accompanied by the voice of the unicorn Afei, white light simultaneously shone from Liu Huasheng and Tyrandot.

As soon as the countdown ended, the two of them transformed into streaks of light, soaring into the sky and disappearing in an instant.
