Warhammer: Should I also sit on the Golden Throne?
Chapter 114 Mr. Tzeentch is a bit deliberate.
Chapter 115 Mr. Tzeentch is a bit deliberate.
"When did you learn the Psionic Blade?" Zhou Yun asked, leaning closer to Guilliman.
Both the servants in the mansion and the city guards who arrived with heavy weapons looked at Robert Guilliman with awe.
Quintus Guilliman was infamous in the city of Maclag. Back when he was in the army camp, he once single-handedly subdued more than ten rioting soldiers, not to mention the countless Illirium barbarians who died at his hands.
Many people say they see a younger version of Connor in Quintus.
Quintus was still wearing the armor left over from the dark technology era and holding a power sword.
But a child who looked no more than eleven or twelve years old, and was said to actually be only six, actually took Quintus's life with just three sword strikes.
People looked at the blond boy holding Connor's old sword. In the dim sunlight of Macurag, the boy seemed to be shrouded in some great power, making people afraid to even breathe too loudly.
"I've seen you use it often, and after seeing it so many times, I couldn't resist learning it myself." Robert Guilliman shook his head and said, "This is indeed very useful. It's invisible and intangible, and it's quick to use. Most enemies don't even have time to react before their heads are already rolling on the ground. No wonder you like using it so much."
Unable to resist, he learned it... Zhou Yun couldn't help but rub his forehead.
He realized that his previous wariness was somewhat unnecessary. Even if he didn't teach him, wouldn't Robert Guilliman have learned it?
After Robert Guilliman realized that psychic powers existed and that he truly possessed psychic talent, his learning of psychic powers was no longer under Zhou Yun's control.
As long as he believes he can learn it, there is probably no psionic technique in the world that he cannot learn.
"There's another psionic spell you often use. Although the principle is simple, it's really useful. It can incapacitate a man without causing fatal damage. The only problem is that it involves delicate psionic manipulation and can only be used on a single person."
"I've considered modifying it to be group-based..."
"7
"You should learn something more respectable." Zhou Yun felt like she had started something terrible.
It's hard to imagine that one day on the battlefield, Robert Guilliman would simply reach out and weigh down thousands of enemy soldiers, causing them to clutch their groins and collapse...
"Then teach me some more decent things," Robert said to Zhou Yun with a smile.
Hearing this, Zhou Yun felt a headache coming on again.
It wasn't that he didn't want to teach, but rather that his psionic skills, apart from the precognition and telepathy systems which came from the Inquisition's psionic magic taught by Grefax, all came from the skills of the archaeologist Prospero.
What kind of place is Prospero? The origins of the psionic techniques in that wretched place are so bizarre that they're practically begging for Tzeentch's signature.
Prospero's psionic skills originated from Magnus's exploration of the wasteland ruins.
During his exploration, the Crimson King encountered a statue, a magnificent giant bird made of colorful stones, which collapsed the moment Magnus saw it.
Magnus was drawn to the fragments of the statues and began to observe them intently. To his astonishment, he discovered that the shapes of the broken fragments and the way they were arranged and combined revealed to him the supreme principles of subspace and the entire universe.
Magnus, along with five Prosperos, viewed the fragments of the statue. The Prosperos were not as wise as Magnus; each of them only grasped one-fifth of the wisdom, which later formed the five major schools of thought of the Thousand Sons.
Zhou Yun could only say that Mr. Treachery was being a bit deliberate.
"I'll think about it some more. Don't blindly learn psionic skills..." Zhou Yun could only try to dodge the question, then he paused and warned, "If you encounter any statues that suddenly fall to the ground and break, don't go up to look out of curiosity."
"I understand, teacher," Robert Guilliman nodded in reply. "I will be wary of Anassine's malice."
Anath is the Illidan name for the warp, or rather, for chaos.
Although Zhou Yun's words were vague, Robert still realized that Zhou Yun meant to be wary of chaos and not to fall into the trap of chaos because of excessive thirst for knowledge.
The biggest gain from taking Robert in on the cult last time was probably teaching Robert Guilliman that chaos is a disgusting thing, and also making him realize how terrible the corruption is hidden in the warp.
"I have something to discuss with you tonight. Let's meet at the villa Marcus gave me," Zhou Yun said to him.
He planned to visit the high priest Tatius of the Church of Simeneta tonight.
Robert nodded slightly.
Zhou Yun greeted Connor and turned to leave Connor's residence.
With this incident today, I can no longer teach Robert.
Moreover, news of what happened at the mansion had obviously spread, and Zhou Yun needed to go home to let Tita know he was safe so as not to worry her.
Marcus's other son, the teenage dwarf Tiberius, stood beside the body of his brother Quintas. He looked at the dead Quintas with a complex expression, seemingly lost in thought.
He noticed Zhou Yun trying to leave, and immediately chased after Zhou Yun with his short legs, blocking his way.
Then Tiberius suddenly knelt down in front of Zhou Yun.
"Teacher Zhou Yun, can I study with you too?" Tiberius shouted loudly.
Zhou Yun was startled by the sudden sound. He looked down and saw Tiberius kneeling in front of him. For a moment, he didn't know how to answer him.
Tiberius attracted the attention of some people, including his father Marcus.
"Tiberius!!" Marcus was furious. He already considered Tiberius a disgrace and usually wouldn't let him leave the house. Today, Tiberius had sneaked out when Marcus wasn't looking.
Now Tiberius has once again blocked Zhou Yun's path, causing trouble in public, and Marcus is even more so.
He gritted his teeth and rushed forward to drag Tiberius away.
But at that moment, Connor reached out and stopped Marcus, shaking his head at him.
"But there's not much I can teach you," Zhou Yun said, looking at the short man in front of him with a hint of helplessness.
It wasn't that he was unwilling to teach; Zhou Yun had previously taught dozens of students at the College of Arts and Sciences, so he could naturally teach Tiberius as well.
However, the things he usually taught Robert Guilliman were likely of little use to Tiberius.
Zhou Yun could teach him psychic abilities, but even excluding the potential trouble, whether Tiberius had any psychic talent was still a question.
"I don't need your individual instruction; just let me sit in on classes with my cousin Robert," Tippi said in a pleading tone.
Even if Tiberius said that… Zhou Yun shook his head, “That still requires Lord Connor’s consent.”
Without hesitation, he shifted the blame to Connor.
"I understand, teacher. I will first obtain Lord Connor's consent," Tiberius said, standing up, dusting off his knees.
Zhou Yunzhen had a hard time figuring out what the little dwarf was thinking.
He shook his head and quickly turned his attention elsewhere.
I woke up on Nocturne Star.
Zhou Yun rubbed his head, which was still feeling dizzy, as the hot air from Nocturne filled his nostrils, and the smell of charcoal stimulated his olfactory cells.
He opened his eyes, and reality gradually solidified before him, with a ceiling made of black basalt unfolding before him.
Zhou Yun found himself lying on a hard stone bed, covered with the leather of some kind of wild animal, and hearing a clanging sound.
Zhou Yun struggled to get out of bed and sat on the edge of the bed. He saw a ceramic bowl on the cabinet next to the bed, containing crushed plant roots and animal glands, obviously a medicine used to detoxify. He could still taste the medicine in his mouth.
He stood up, regained his balance, and then reached out and clenched his fingers.
Strength; this body is powerful and resilient.
Despite the intense poison, the body recovered almost completely in just over a day.
Even with the help of medication, it was still happening incredibly fast.
The inhabitants of Nocturne Star, having endured the tempering of this explosive environment, have all mutated into having a resilient body, skin as tough as cowhide, and strength far surpassing that of other humans.
Zhou Yun followed the knocking sound and pushed open the door, the scalding heat hitting his face.
He saw the blacksmith's furnace burning fiercely, the scorching flames spitting out tongues of fire, like a primordial fire god sealed in basalt, roaring as if trying to escape the cage confined by humankind.
But humans used their wisdom to tame the flames, harnessing their high temperatures for their own use. The flames, radiating brilliant light, were directed onto the crude iron in the furnace, turning the iron ore orange-red.
Zhou Yun strode toward the blacksmith shop. In one corner sat an elderly man with dark brown, wrinkled skin. Although he was old, the muscles in his arms were still clearly defined, and his eyes were still bright and burning. His eyes were fixed on the furnace fire. Only after hearing the door open did he look at Zhou Yun.
He nodded slightly to Zhou Yun, then looked at the fire in the stove.
The iron charge in the furnace was removed by iron tongs and placed on an anvil.
The dark-skinned giant wore shorts and a blacksmith's apron, his thigh muscles throbbing as he pumped power down his waist into his arms and into the forging hammer he held high.
The forging hammer slammed down, a collision so powerful it seemed to shake reality itself. Hot sparks flew everywhere, and a deafening sound echoed throughout the blacksmith shop, causing Zhou Yun's ears to ring and making him feel as if the world itself was shaking.
"Awake?" But the sound of the collision couldn't mask the giant's deep voice.
He looked at Zhou Yun, his eyes burning brighter and hotter than the scorching sparks that had just spewed out, like an inextinguishable flame.
Zhou Yun moved his dry throat slightly, then opened his mouth.
"Volgan".
