Finley hadn't even had time to get back into position. Lin Hao caught the ball, his knee bent, his wrist snapped, and he jumped.

Cuban sat on the sidelines, turned his head and said something to the person next to him. The person nodded.

Four minutes into the first quarter, the score was 14-8. The Mavericks called a timeout. Don Nelson called over the offensive team and squatted on the ground.

"They can't stop Lin Hao's pick-and-roll," said Old Nelson, cigar in hand. "Nowitzki can't get out when he switches, and Finley can't get back when he's screened. Keep running pick-and-rolls until they adjust."

Lin Hao nodded.
