Not long ago, Yuan Qian listened to the Beast King Conference of the Giant Whale Royal Court through the mental network of the Sea Dragon Clan.

He heard the roars of the pro-war faction, the fear of the surrender faction, and the Sea Dragon King's plan to "concentrate two hundred beast kings for a decisive battle."

Then he did a simple calculation: if he lost the final battle, the Sea Dragon Clan would be wiped out, and more importantly, he himself would die.

He didn't want to die, nor did he want the Sea Dragon Clan to be wiped out, and he also thought of the Ice Demon Clan.

So he made a decision that had never been made before in the history of marine creatures.

Yuan Qian quietly left the Canglan Sea Abyss. He silently traveled along the seabed of the East Sea, scanning the surrounding spiritual energy environment with the spiritual power of the Sea Dragon Clan every so often to confirm that he was not being followed by any alien beasts.

The closer to the edge of the continental shelf, the lower the density of high-level marine mammals.

After the Battle of Tianhai, the remaining sea monsters were all moved to the depths of the Pacific Ocean, leaving the coastal areas of the East China Sea almost empty.

He found a hidden underwater cave on the edge of the continental shelf and then transformed into human form.

The scales retracted inward, the bones rearranged with a creaking sound, the limbs lengthened, and the skin faded from dark blue to human skin color.

Transformation is an ability possessed by all sixth-tier beasts, but beast kings generally do not wish to appear in human form.

For the alien beasts, human form was a humiliation, but Yuan Qian didn't care.

When he emerged from the cave, he was a human youth who was over 1.8 meters tall, with dark blue hair sticking wetly to his forehead, and wearing a simple garment made of seaweed fibers.

He walked barefoot on the beach and looked up at the outline of the city wall of Tianhai City in the distance.

The searchlights on the city wall swept slowly across the night sky, and the barrels of the main gun array pointed towards the sea.

He took a deep breath and raised his hands.

He held a sea monster's spine in his right hand, with a white shirt he had salvaged from a shipwreck tied to it.

It was a white flag.

Tianhai East Fortress, observation post.

The sentry on duty had been watching the sea for several hours.

After the Battle of Tianhai, the backs of the strange beasts were never seen on the sea again, and the position had become a sinecure.

An old soldier dozed off by the observation window, while a young sentry routinely scanned the coastline with binoculars: beaches, reefs, sea, sand...

Then his telescope stopped, and he turned it back and aimed it at the beach again.

A barefoot figure is walking up the beach, with his hands raised above his head, holding a white flag.

The young sentry took off his binoculars, rubbed his eyes, and put them back on.

The figure was still there, and his psionic readings on the portable detector showed a number that made the sentry jump out of his chair.

The energy fluctuations of a sixth-order beast king.

He slammed the alarm button and grabbed the communicator, making a sound so loud that the entire defensive line could hear it.

"Alert! A Tier 6 Beast King has been spotted on the coastline. Repeat, the Tier 6 Beast King is approaching the outer defense line of the Eastern Fortress! Update: Target... Target is raising a white flag."

The entire fortress erupted in chaos within seconds.

The defending troops rushed out of their barracks, their main gun arrays simultaneously turning towards the target, and all the searchlights locked onto that stretch of beach.

The city defense commander shouted into the communicator from the command room, "Target identity confirmed, the Beast King has landed."

But the information fed back from the observation system stunned everyone: there was only a signal from the Beast King, with no other strange beasts accompanying it.

It moved extremely slowly, did not release any offensive psionic energy, and held its hands above its head, each holding a white flag.

Tianhai City, restaurant.

Just as Song Chen picked up his second bowl of Shaoxing wine for the evening, Han Duo's urgent communication came through.

Han Duo had been sent to Tianhai by Song Chen two days earlier.

Han Duo's voice was very low during the call: "Councilor Song, a sixth-tier beast king has been spotted landing outside Tianhai East Fortress. It is alone, has transformed into human form, is holding a white flag, is unarmed, and has not released any offensive psionic energy."

"The target has been locked onto by the fortress gun, but it has remained within range for a full minute without making any evasive maneuvers. Fortress requests instructions."

Song Chen put down his wine bowl, and Zhou Wangyue looked at him at the same time.

He looked at the target image on the screen: a young man standing barefoot on the beach, his hands raised high, holding a simple white flag.

He looked out, his Eye of Truth piercing through the darkness and distance, locking onto the psionic signal.

Sixth rank, Sea Dragon Clan, with psionic characteristics similar to Cang Yuan but younger, and without any aggressive psionic flow.

He chuckled. "How interesting. A beast king has surrendered. Teacher, you keep eating, I'll go take a look."

After saying that, Song Chen activated the Void Shuttle without waiting for Zhou Wangyue's reply.

They vanished from their original spot in an instant and reappeared directly above the beach outside the Tianhai East Fortress.

He stood in mid-air, looking down at the barefoot figure holding a white flag below.

Yuan Qian looked up and saw the figure in silver armor above him. His knees instinctively buckled, a fear deep within his genes.

But he stopped, his hand still holding the white flag, and he spoke haltingly in the Great Xia language: "Great Great Xia Councilor Song, my name is Yuan Qian, the third son of the Sea Dragon King. I am not here to fight."

"I've come here... to betray my race."

Song Chen fell from the sky and landed on the beach, standing face to face with him.

Song Chen looked at the white flag in his hand, and at the sand and seaweed fragments clinging to his bare feet.

"To betray one's own race?"

"Yes." Yuan Qian nodded.

"I brought a map of the ocean defenses, including the Pacific, Atlantic, and Indian Oceans, the coordinates of all the sixth-tier beast kings' lairs, patrol routes, and rotation times, as well as the locations of the Sea Dragon King and the Giant Whale King's royal courts."

"All intelligence is now yours."

"The condition is that the Sea Dragon Clan is not wiped out after the war, that a piece of sea area is reserved for us, and that we are allowed to live under human supervision."

"I will be your guide in the ocean cleanup. I will help you find where every beast king is hiding."

"I want to live."

Song Chen looked into his eyes. The pupils of the Sea Dragon Clan were deep blue in human form, with a very subtle vertical pupil mark deep within.

There was no fighting spirit or deceit in those eyes, only an emotion he had seen in the eyes of many strange beasts: fear, and above that fear, a calm will to survive.

He was silent for a moment, then turned on his communicator and connected to Zhou Wangyue's channel.

"Teacher, you just said that besieging a point to attack reinforcements requires a bait, and the bait has come to us on its own."

He then dialed Li Qingcang's encrypted channel.

"Speaker, there's something I need to discuss with you. The third son of the Sea Dragon King just came ashore with a white flag."
