Connor believed that besides identifying the four alchemical materials, this metal powder must have one or two alchemical materials as raw materials. In addition to identifying the raw materials, Connor also speculated about the special alchemical process used to combine these materials. He suspected it might be the "Gonzalo Alchemy," a technique recorded in "Reyes Alchemy," used to create special alchemical bombs or alchemical golems.

Silently recalling the description of "Gonzalo Alchemy" in *Reyes Alchemy*, and then thinking of the alchemical materials he had identified from the metal powder, Connor's eyes lit up for a moment. A vague guess surfaced in his mind; although not entirely certain, he estimated it to be pretty close...

"Valga, this guy is just an assassin. Half an hour ago, he received orders from his superior to track and assassinate you. You need to go back to our family's safe house immediately. I have some things to take care of and will be right back to meet you!" Anxious to get to Danilo's house and confirm his suspicions, Connor gave Valga some instructions, then bid her farewell and hurried towards Danilo's house.

Walking along the streets of Frosinone, recalling what Arbeloa had just told him, Connor's eyes gleamed with excitement. He felt he was getting closer and closer to the mole his mentor, Reyes, had planted within the Ferguson family…

"My Herrera Red Magic meditation technique, whether in terms of energy, spells, or mental strength, is quite ordinary. However, it's incredibly effective at recognizing a person's aura, almost never missing a beat. At the Marshall Manor on the eastern outskirts of Frosinno, there's a gathering place for underground wizards. Every month on the 10th, dozens of dark wizards from Frosinno gather there to exchange items and share their cultivation experiences. About half a year ago, I accidentally discovered Danilo at this gathering!"

"Danilo was at this party, offering 100 magic stones for a bottle of troll potion. Because of work, we met about once a month and were fairly familiar with each other. So even though Danilo had a big beard and was wearing a mask at the party, I recognized him immediately by his scent."

"How is Danilo's cultivation level? At the gathering, I didn't dare to observe him much because I was afraid he would notice me. But he gave me the feeling that he was obviously stronger than me. However, he definitely didn't have the same sense of pressure as you, Young Master Connor. So I think Danilo should be a high-level wizard apprentice."

"I'm a naturally cautious person, and since wizards gather in private, no one wants to be recognized. So even though I recognized Danilo, I didn't acknowledge him. Later, because Danilo never went to Marshall Manor for a gathering again, I basically kept this matter to myself. I hadn't told anyone about it before today. If it weren't for you, Young Master Connor, coming today, I would have almost forgotten about it..."

The reason Connor showed up during Varga's encounter with the scarred youth was entirely because of what Arbeloa said!

Connor had searched Arbeloa's soul and examined the "Herrera Red Magic" Arbeloa practiced. He knew that what Arbeloa said was true. "Herrera Red Magic" is indeed very sensitive to the aura of people and animals, and can easily identify the other party's identity through aura. Because of this, after Connor learned of this news, he was worried and went to investigate Danilo's Varga's safety, rushing to find her.

As Connor feared, Varga, who found the mysterious metal powder in Danilo's apartment, was indeed ambushed and attacked!

Varga's ambush further convinced Connor of his suspicions: Danilo, the deputy butler of their family and the successor to Martinez's head butler, was the undercover agent!

As a first-level wizard, Connor was naturally very fast. In just over ten minutes, he arrived near Danilo's apartment, which was not far from Ferguson's mansion.

Through the glass window of Danilo's apartment, Connor saw that the kerosene lamp was already lit inside. Knowing that Danilo might have already gone home, Connor did not rush up to capture Danilo immediately. Instead, he suppressed his eagerness, forced himself to calm down, and patiently observed the surroundings of the apartment. Seeing that there was nothing wrong, Connor had a thought, and his black robe flashed. When he reappeared a dozen seconds later, he was already at the door of Danilo's apartment.

Standing silently at the door, Connor's mental power could clearly sense that the person who looked exactly like Danilo in the detective report was pacing anxiously in the apartment's living room. In his hand was a wooden plaque carved with some kind of rune, and it seemed that Danilo was waiting for something.

Seeing this, Connor focused his mental energy on the wooden plaque held by Danilo, observing the runes carved on it. After a brief examination, Connor, being an alchemist, understood that this wooden plaque was an alchemical item for communication, similar to a telephone on Earth. However, compared to a telephone, this wooden plaque had limitations on the number of uses and the communication distance.

Upon discovering this, and recalling the information he had just obtained from the scarred youth who ambushed and assassinated Varga, it became pretty obvious to Connor what Danilo was waiting for in the house!

A cold smile appeared on his lips as Connor gently knocked on the apartment door.

"Tap! Tap! Tap!"

Connor's knocking reached Danilo's ears as he paced around the apartment, startling him. He hadn't noticed anyone at his door at all, and more importantly, even now that he heard the knocking and knew someone was outside, his mental energy couldn't detect any presence from the person outside.

This unprecedented and bizarre situation left Danilo somewhat at a loss. Just as he was wondering whether to open the door or not, the knocking sounded again.

"Da! Da! Da! Da!"

The second knock on the door only deepened Danilo's unease; he didn't know whether the person knocking was a friend or foe...
