Chapter 771 The Deaths of the Sabitzer Brothers

Chapter 771 The Deaths of the Sabitzer Brothers (3)

"This is my business card. I have fairly good connections in Frosinone, the entire northern border of the Empire, and some parts of the Odin Empire. If you, Connor Ferguson, need anything in this regard, you are welcome to become my customer. However, I need to tell you in advance that my information is highly accurate, but it is also very expensive. And I have a rule: when I accept a large sum of money from someone, I will not provide my employer's information to anyone during that period!" Robelli said meaningfully to Connor.

Considering his words, combined with what he just said to Connor about accepting the Duke's faction as employees, it's clear that Robbie's words had a hidden meaning and were meant to be pointed.

Connor, an alchemist, calmly examined Robley's business card. After confirming it lacked any tracking or location-tracking functions, he placed it into his spatial ring. Then, after giving Robley a long look, he asked, "Mr. Robley, what are you going to do now?"

"Take him back!" Robbie said with a smile, pointing to the fallen Sabitzer not far away.

Upon hearing Robbie's words, Connor's eyes narrowed slightly, and he said with absolute certainty, "He will die by my hand today!"

Although Connor's tone was calm, the firmness in his words was obvious. As soon as Connor finished speaking, Robelli's chubby face lost its smile, and he stared at Connor, saying, "Though those two brothers hurt your woman, she's not seriously injured now. Besides, you killed his brother. Why be so ruthless?"

"And if I'm not mistaken, you want to negotiate a cooperation with the Royalist faction. Killing Sabitzer and his brother won't benefit your cooperation with the Royalist faction at all!"

"Before today, I wanted to discuss cooperation with the Royal Faction, but now that things have come to this, even if the Royal Faction wants to cooperate with me, I have to think it over carefully!" Connor said sarcastically. As soon as he finished speaking, Connor took three steps toward Robbie, and the distance between the two was less than twenty meters.

Seeing Connor's actions, Robbie's chubby face also turned serious. He frowned and looked at Connor, saying, "Are you really sure you want to break ties with the Royal Faction? And here's a friendly reminder: although you're a psychic wizard and your mental power has reached the threshold of materialization, breaking my illusion, you should know that you've only been a level one wizard for a little over a month. You're no match for me!"

"So what? Just because I can't beat you doesn't mean I can't kill him!"

As Connor spoke, a strange smile appeared on his face. As soon as he finished speaking, Connor, who was 20 meters away from Robbie, suddenly moved his black robe. Then, Connor was seen backing away and rushing towards Sabitzer, who was lying on the ground not far away!

Seeing Connor's actions, Robbie immediately understood Connor's plan and thought to himself that something was wrong. He then quickly cast a spell, and an earthen wall covered in mud rose up from the grass in front of Sabitzer, blocking Connor's path to kill Sabitzer!

Seeing that the old man Robbie was determined to stop him, Connor's eyes flashed with ruthlessness. His speed towards Big Sabitzer increased instead of decreasing. In a flash, he took out his Castilian Staff from his spatial ring, and then, while swinging the staff, he roared, "Open up!"

With Connor's roar and the blessing of Castia's staff, a large black fireball, about one meter in diameter, quickly condensed in front of Connor and attacked the earthen wall blocking his way.

"boom!"

The black fireball collided with the yellowish-brown earthen wall, creating a deafening roar. However, to Connor's surprise, his black fireball did not blast the earthen wall into dust as he had expected; it only blasted a large hole that was barely big enough for a person to pass through.

Moreover, the large hole was being repaired by the earthen wall at a visible speed. Although he secretly marveled at the sturdiness of the earthen wall that Robbie had created, Connor reacted quickly. With a glint in his eyes, he took advantage of the fact that the large hole in the earthen wall was not completely repaired and leaped over it, arriving at Sabitzer's side.

When he saw Connor break through the earthen wall and come to him, Big Sabitzer, lying in the grass, had lost all hope. He was now suffering from multiple injuries, and every movement of his body was excruciatingly painful. He was basically powerless to resist, and he couldn't even do what Little Sabitzer did before he died—self-destruction to severely injure Connor.

Upon seeing the gruesome remains of his younger brother, Sabitzer Jr., Sabitzer Sr. was overcome with grief and rage. His eyes red, he shouted venomously at Connor, "The higher-ups will avenge us brothers! Connor Ferguson, I'll be waiting for you down there! You'll die..."

Before Big Sabitzer could finish speaking, Connor shook his head dismissively. Then, a black streak of light pierced through Big Sabitzer's forehead, sending him directly to meet his younger brother, Little Sabitzer!

Having killed Big Sabitzer and avenged Varga's injury, Connor had achieved his goal. Since that was the case, Connor didn't want to get entangled with the fat old man Robbie any longer. He took out two smoke bombs he had crafted from his spatial ring, intending to use the smoke as cover to leave.

Connor had a good plan, but unfortunately, before he could throw the smoke bomb, Big Sabitzer was killed by Connor, which seemed to have angered Robbie. Without saying a word, the old man chanted a spell, and hundreds of stones of different sizes in the forest were suspended in mid-air under the effect of his spell. Then, clusters of yellow light enveloped all the hundreds of stones.

Seeing this, Connor immediately felt a sense of foreboding. Just then, Robelli pointed his thick, short finger at Connor and uttered a short incantation: "Pareza!"

"Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!..."

Under Robbie's command, the hundreds of stones enveloped in yellow light, for a moment, resembled roaring cannonballs, bombarding Connor from all directions!

Feeling the power of the stones hurtling towards him, Connor's face showed a look of surprise. Not daring to be careless, he immediately slammed his Castilian Staff down, and a blue-black Castilian barrier appeared, protecting Connor within it.
