Chapter 766 Varga's Attack

Connor's plan has been going smoothly so far. Varga has a positioning device that Connor crafted, and the flashing red dot on the compass is actually Varga's location. Just as Varga was pondering a countermeasure, the Sabitzer brothers, who were following her, seemed to have received some orders and began to hunt her down instead of just following her around to monitor her!

Although she didn't know why the twin brothers, high-ranking wizard apprentices belonging to the Royal faction, were attacking her, Varga didn't sit idly by. Since they had made a move, she immediately threw out a smoke bomb made by Connor to confuse the Sabitzer brothers and escape.

Although Varga was confident in her strength, she also understood that one person was no match for the Sabitzer brothers working together. So she didn't fight the Sabitzer brothers at all and immediately fled. However, despite the smoke bombs made by Connor for cover, the Sabitzer brothers were quick to react. They were only distracted by the smoke bombs for three minutes before catching up with the fleeing Varga again outside the city of Frosinone.

This time, Varga had no choice but to fight the Sabitzer brothers. Their reputation was well-deserved; under their combined attack, Varga was injured in less than ten moves. As Varga walked through the forest, she felt her mana was being depleted.
