Chapter 602 Tusam's Curiosity

Martina's comforting words reached Tusam's ears, slightly easing the gloom on his face. After a moment of contemplation, Tusam asked Martina, "Martina, I understand why you wouldn't let my two men keep watch near Ferguson's apartment while waiting for Connor's return! But why wouldn't you let me carry out my schemes inside Ferguson's apartment?"

Before Tusam could finish speaking, a look of surprise appeared clearly on Martina's cold and beautiful face. She seemed to have never expected Tusam to ask her this question!

Martina's surprised expression seemed to displease Tusam. He nodded heavily and said in a deep voice, "I'm serious!"

"I remember that whether it was the information about Connor that old Victor gave you, or the information I told you about Connor, they all said that Connor was not only a psychic wizard, but also a very skilled alchemist. Tusam, what are those so-called methods you mentioned? Are they those Shadow Orbs that Southgate made?"

I can't possibly know nothing about his identity, can I?"

Seeing that Tusam was determined to know about Connor despite her advice, Martina felt helpless. She knew that Connor had displayed great strength in the battle in the swamp that day, which had made Tusam wary. That was why Tusam was so eager to know Connor's background. Thinking of this, Martina looked up at Tusam and saw that he was staring at her intently. Martina's heart sank. "Since Connor is the professor's student, why would old Victor go to such lengths to kill Connor Ferguson? "If your curiosity gets the better of you, why don't we wait until we catch Connor Ferguson and have him tell you all about it?" Martina said casually, glancing at Tusam.

"Hehe, no need, no need!"

Tusam waved to Martina, then smiled and said, "As for Connor Ferguson, this much is enough. I suddenly realize that what you said earlier, Martina, makes a lot of sense. Knowing too much about some things is actually not a good thing. I really should try to change my tendency to be too curious!"

"I've told you everything I know, but you should know very well how important this information is!" Ignoring Tusam's words, Martina looked at him solemnly and said meaningfully:
