Chapter 346 The Demon Knight Reappears

Chapter 346 The Demon Knight Reappears

Even if we take a step back and assume that the Demon Knight really did appear in the Secret Society's safe house below, it means that the mysterious organization that tested the Demon Knight has an unusual relationship with the Secret Society. So no matter what the Secret Society's purpose is for me, at least for now I am still the disciple of Professor Reyes, the number two figure in the Secret Society. This mysterious organization may not dare to touch me!

Even in the worst-case scenario, if there really were enchanted knights in the safe house and they were going to attack him, Connor Ferguson wasn't someone to be trifled with, and his second-tier top-level enchanted item, the Castia Staff, wasn't just for show. Who would attack whom was uncertain, right? In short, his safety was absolutely guaranteed!

Stealthily approaching the bronze gate, Connor took a deep breath, took out the Castilian Staff from his spatial ring and held it in his hand for any eventuality, and began to rhythmically knock on the bronze gate as Reyes had taught him to open it.

Although his alchemy skills had greatly improved since his last visit to this safe house, Connor still couldn't figure out what the bronze door was made of. He only discovered that the bronze door not only had extremely strong defensive capabilities but also effectively blocked mental energy from probing the space behind it. Without knowing how to open the bronze door, an apprentice wizard would have absolutely no chance of opening it or probing the space behind it with his mental energy.

As Connor finished knocking, the bronze door opened silently. Connor's expression immediately relaxed as he used his mental energy to explore the space behind the door. Behind the door, apart from a bottle of dark purple potion, there was nothing else, not even a hair, let alone a demonized knight!

After entering the gate, Connor first picked up the dark purple potion on the ground and examined it. After a moment of inspection, he confirmed that the potion was exactly the same as the arcane potion recorded in the book. It was the arcane potion that Varga had mentioned placing in the safe house for him when she possessed him. Connor nodded in satisfaction and put the potion into his spatial ring.

Having obtained the Arcane Potion and completed his main mission, Connor felt much more at ease and began to leisurely survey the safe house. The safe house no longer possessed the chilling feeling it once had; instead, it exuded the aura of a demonic knight. Like the demonic knight in the secret passage, the aura left behind by the demonic knight in the safe house had been concealed. However, perhaps because the demonic knight had lingered there longer, the aura Connor sensed in the safe house was clearer, allowing him to glean more information from it.

"They've been gone for at least five days, and there are at least two demonized knights. One of them is much stronger than Hector from last time, and his strength should have reached the level of a high-level wizard apprentice!" Connor thought to himself, squinting his eyes.

After discovering this information, Connor, who was once again curious about this mysterious organization, carefully examined the safe house again. However, this time Connor did not find any other valuable information in the safe house.

Connor shook his head slightly, walked out of the safe house, closed the bronze door, and returned to the ground. He wasn't interested in what the mysterious organization and the secret society were plotting at the moment. Now that he had the arcane potion, the right thing to do was to seize the time to break through and become an advanced wizard apprentice. Only by becoming strong himself could he stop any possible conspiracy from others!

Leaving Sassuolo Harbor, Connor intended to return to his apartment at 16 Land Street in the East District to retrieve something he had prepared for his breakthrough. He then planned to go to another safe house in the West District of Loen, which he had never officially activated, to fully concentrate on his breakthrough to the Advanced Wizard Apprentice level. However, plans never go as expected. He had barely returned to his apartment, not even having entered the door, when a familiar voice transmitted to him: "Come with me!"

"FUCK!" Connor cursed inwardly upon hearing Old Victor's telepathic message. He frowned slightly and hesitated for a moment, but ultimately decided to go and see for himself. Connor didn't believe that Old Victor was looking for him now because he had discovered that Connor had realized all the advantages and disadvantages of "Mental Spring." Only he and Varga knew about "Mental Spring," and Varga would never betray him. Therefore, Old Victor must be looking for him now because something unexpected had happened!

Following old Victor, Connor arrived at a small tavern called Bruges. This tavern was one of the few quiet bars in Loen, with a rather peaceful atmosphere, and it seemed like a good place to discuss business!

"How's your alchemy learning going, Professor?" Once the two were seated in the Bruges tavern, old Victor, without a word, cast a spell and asked Connor:

"The alchemy taught by the teacher is quite diverse, and my progress in each branch varies. I wonder which aspect Butler Victor wants to inquire about?" Connor asked tentatively, looking at old Victor. Judging from what this old fellow Victor meant, it seems that this time it has something to do with alchemy!

"A bomb! Can you make an alchemical bomb?" Old Victor seemed to find Connor's explanation reasonable, so he directly stated his purpose.

Upon hearing the words "alchemy bomb" from old Victor, Connor showed no outward change in expression, but his heart was in turmoil. The alchemy bombs he had planted during this period had been exploding one after another in Rune and the surrounding city of Mallorca. Now that old Victor was mentioning alchemy bombs, was it related to him?

"I can make alchemical bombs, but I don't know what kind you want, Butler Victor? I don't know much about bombs; I can make them, but only the most basic ones!" Connor thought for a moment and asked in a low voice:

"The most basic? That'll do... The three of us need to refine a batch of alchemical bombs urgently!" Hearing that Connor could only do the most basic thing, old Victor thought for a moment, and finally gritted his teeth and made a decision.
